Wifi cannot be connected at room and breakfast buffet choices are little. The toilet at the room is small, but the decorations at the hotel are traditional and classic.

hotel building is very nice located in front of harbour in a small town. room is not big. bed is a bit soft. restaurant is reasonable.

Very helpful staff on a range of travel information, fantastic. The location beside the harbour beautiful and access to northern lights viewing with excellent staff guidance on where to try. Food delicious for dinner and breakfast. Rooms comfy quite clean and functional, warm shower, hot if you want, good WiFi

Molto carino e accogliente. Le stanze sono pulite e curate nei dettagli. Personale gentilissimo e preparato. Parlano anche un po’ di italiano. Abbiamo provato la cucina del ristorante la sera ed era ottima, pesce fresco e una zuppa buonissima. Il prezzo è ottimo rispetto al resto dell’isola.

Premetto che ci siamo fermati solo per un pranzo durante il tour e quindi recensirò solo il ristorante, e non l'hotel non avendo pernottato. Locale di a**osfera, rivestito in legno, ma con in un angolo un inspiegabile area recintata con lamiera in parte arrugginita, ma perchè ??? A**osfera rovinata. Pietanze discrete, servizio abbastanza rapido nonostante il grande affollamento. Prezzi nella media o leggermente inferiori agli standard Islandesi. Non siamo stati male.

Entrando ho apprezzato subito la calda a**osfera e la simpatia e gentilezza del receptionist. Entrando nella stanza ho ritrovato la stessa calda a**osfera che ho perso subito dopo aver visto il bagno: minuscolo, cupo, la doccia piccola con la tendina. La cena è stata buona anche se il servizio è stato un pò lento. Non ho usufruito della colazione perché ho dovuto lasciare l'hotel alle 7 ( colazione servita dalle ore 8) ma sono stati gentili a farci trovare un piccolo cestino con biscotti nella sala colazione dove abbiamo potuto prendere anche un caffè.

We had to stop in this hotel as they closed the main road through the east fiords. The hotel was not cheap, but the room was confortable and clean. There was coffee and tea, and a boiler. No fridge and no TV. The man at the reception was overworked, (as many tourist arrived there at the same time when they realised the road was closed) and he was very helpful. The only missing thing in the room was the fridge an the TV, and may be for the price we paid, breakfast should have been included. It's located in a lovely village that deserves a visit.

Visited this Quaint Hotel for a meal whilst touring the island,also enquired about accommodation here.Food was quite good,but was nearly put off my meal by a very rude rough looking heavily tattooed man at the check in desk who also had an awful huge ring embedded in his nose! Yuck! How/Why is He working here?He was Very Rude,disrespectful had a bad attitude.I would never stay here if he was on site.
