Hotel & Spa Goldene Rose

A wonderful and very stylish hotel in the heart of the historic town. Very designed room. The spa area is a dream !!!! Delicious food in the restaurant. Within walking distance to most attractions. Right across the street of St, George Cathedral. Breakfast was excellent.

My family stayed in Dinkelsbühl as a stop on our European road trip, when we arrived we parked our car (which is quite an ordeal) and then a receptionist checked us in and showed us around our hotel. The hotel doesn’t offer a valet service, so they recommend you park in a car park located just outside the city, if you aren’t lucky enough to grab a space in the city. I stayed in the Queen Victoria suite. The room was very nice and modern with a lovely view of the church. The hotel is located in prime location, right in the middle of the old town, and all the restaurants are only a short walk away. That night we had drinks in the bar, the service was quite good and so were the drinks. In the rooms it was a little hot, and the underfloor cooling could only work to a certain extent. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel. It was delicious with a wide range of food, and local cuisine. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modern hotel, in the heart of Dinkelsbühl.

We just returned from what was without a doubt a perfect wellness weekend in the newly renovated & recently re-opened Hotel Goldene Rose in Dinkelsbühl. The hotel is located right in the middle of Dinkelsbühl's historic town centre. This little gem a town is still surrounded by the old medieval walls and towers. The entire town centre is beautifully maintained in it's original medieval style. From the second we walked through the the doors until we left, we couldn't get enough of the amazing architecture & the atmosphere of the hotel. The architects have managed a perfect symbiotic connection between old & new. The hotel is housed in several buildings that are also connected from inside. We stayed in one of the Rosen Studios which are a little further from the main building. You can still get to the wellness spa on the top floor of the main building in the fluffy bathrobes & slippers provided by the hotel without having to leave the building :-) The connection goes through the wonderful Rosensaal theater/ cinema where occasionally live performances are shown. The spa area is beautifully integrated into the top floors under the roof with visible beams that have held this building up for over 400 years. In fact, the original beams can be seen all over the hotel. Imagine if the walls could talk... I'm sure they would have a story or two to tell :-) The outdoor rooftop pool is very inviting. With it's beautifully designed roof, this can be used in any weather. We had several treatments in the spa. The staff were super professional & extremely friendly.  I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed. We booked with half board. This consisted of a very well sorted & delicious breakfast buffet & a 4 course evening dinner. The food was extremely "lecker'" :-) The staff in all areas, be it Reception, Restaurant & Bar, Wellness & House keeping were all very friendly & helpful with any questions that came up. It's hard to write anything negative about this wonderful hotel but to be fair I should mention it. There were a few minor details that I missed during our stay. Some things I didn't actually need during my stay but others might have. 1.The studios have a small kitchenette with cooking facilities. There were pots but no plates or cutlery other than cups, tea spoons & chopping knives. I wasn't cooking but others using the facility will need these things. I also missed a cloth or tea towel to wipe up a small spill after making some coffee using the capsule coffee machine which is also part of the studio's features. 2. I would liked to have had some hooks in the bathroom to hang my bathrobe. Instead I used hangers in the wardrobe. 3. There were some drinks in the minibar but no information in the room to indicate if these were included in the room price or how much they cost. I also would liked to have had some general information like the breakfast times or spa opening hours. I've been told that this info will be available on the TVs soon. For so

Von außen sehr unscheinbar, von innen der Hit! Wir genossen einen sehr freundlichen und herzlichen Empfang und bekamen zu Begrüßung einen welcome Drink. Danach wurden uns die wichtigsten Hotel Ingos mitgeteilt und dann ging’s aufs Zimmer

Die kleine Ruheoase inmitten von Dinkelsbühl ist für einen Kurzurlaub perfekt, wenn man mal etwas Anderes sehen möchte. Wir waren 4 Nächte in der goldenen Rose und uns war zu keiner Zeit langweilig. Das Begrüßungsschreiben inclusive der Auswahl der Pralinen war besonders hochwertig und hat uns einen prima Urlaubsstart beschafft. Der Wellnessbereich ist toll, ein Tauchbecken oder eine Eismaschine zum Abkühlen nach der Sauna haben wir allerdings vermisst. Ansonsten geht regelmäßig Jemand rum und sieht nach dem Rechten. Das Obst ist immer frisch und wurde stetig aufgefüllt. Es gibt genügend Liegen und Handtücher. Der Ausblick vom Infinity Pool wird etwas getrübt durch Klimaaktivisten im Haus davor. Der Balkon“Schmuck“ ist erträglich, aber die Blicke und die Gesten grenzwertig. Da sollte dringend Einigkeit erzielt und/oder eine Sichtschutzmöglichkeit in Erwägung gezogen werden. Im Hotel selbst war man stets bemüht den Gast höflich zu bedienen. Allerdings war uns der Barchef einen Tick zu distanziert. In diesem Servicebereich darf man zu den Gästen aufgeschlossener sein. Die Cocktails waren mega, das Bier nicht… Es gab wohl ein Problem mit der Zapfanlage. Auch da wäre an der Kritikfähigkeit zu arbeiten. Das Frühstück war in der Qualität wirklich sehr gut, leider null abwechslungsreich. Selbst der Napfkuchen war jeden Morgen derselbige. Der Prosecco am Buffet ist sehr lobenswert zu erwähnen, da wir bereits 5Sterne Hotels ohne Schaumwein zum Frühstück erlebt hatten. Das gehört einfach dazu=weiter so. Unserem Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer wurde entsprochen= DANKE Das Bett ist bequem, die Ausstattung sehr hochwertig. In diesem Haus stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis!!! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Da es doch den einen oder anderen Kritikpunkt gibt, würde ich theoretisch 4,5 Sterne geben. Da dies nicht möglich ist, diesmal 4 Sterne, beim nächsten Mal sicher 5 :) Noch ein Tip: Es wäre toll, wenn man direkt am Hotel die Möglichkeit zum Ausleihen von E-Bikes hätte. In der Gegend gibt es zwar 2 Möglichkeiten, aber ideal ist das nicht. Die Gegend bietet so viele Möglichkeiten für einen Tagesausflug mit dem Fahrrad.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen. Der Empfang an der Rezeption und die Hilfsbereitschaft sowie die Freundlichkeit sind vorbildlich und entsprechen der Klassifizierung! Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß. Leider muss man -bedingt durch das Kopfsteinplaster und dem z.T. regen Verkehr über den Marktplatz bzw. Nebenstraßen mit Lärm rechnen; bei geschlossenen Fenstern (schallisoliert) ist es ruhiger. Unter klimatisierten Zimmern darf man nicht von einer regulären Klimaanlage ausgehen! Vielmehr wird der Boden gekühlt. Dies hatte zu unserer Zeit bei heißen Temperaturen keine Wirkung! Dies ist aber auf den Denkmalschutz für dieses Gebäude zurück zu führen. Das Schwimmbad im Dachgeschoss ist einsame Spitze! Hier hätten wir uns allerdings eine Öffnungszeit um 7:00 Uhr gewünscht (aktuell 8:00 Uhr). Eine klare Weiterempfehlung! Unser Ratschlag: Zimmer zur Seite hin buchen.

Sehr schönes Hotel in der Mitte der Altstadt von Dinkelsbühl, der Empfand war sehr nett und ist auf meinen Wunsch nach einem anderen Zimmer sofort eingegangen! leider ging die Fußbodenheizung nicht auszuschalten das bedeutete wir hatten die ganze Nacht eine unfreiwillige Sauna! , das Personal im Hotel war sehr nett und aufmerksam bis auf das Personal beim Frühstück, es war niemand dort und wenn man jemanden gesehen hat ist er bzw. Sie sofort wieder verschwunden ! Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ein absolutes No Go !!!!! Auch die Reaktion des Koches beim Frühstück absolut unterirdisch!! Bei meiner Bestellung bekam ich nur ein Kopfschütteln und dann wurde auch noch das bestellte Ei falsch zubereitet!!!

Ein neu renoviertes (vor 1 1/2 Jahren) 5 Sterne Haus der Extraklasse. Mitten im Ortskern Dinkelsbühl gelegen verbirgt sich hinter der gelben Aussenfassade ein Juwel. Sehr schöner Empfang, hervorragend gelungene Bar offen zum Testaurant geben einen ersten positiven Eindruck beim Betreten des Hotels. Das Higlight schlechthin: Spaneteich im 3. Stock. Unglaublich beeindruckend, was hier geschaffen wurde und den Gästen zur Verfügung steht.

Magnifique hôtel rénové en 2019/2020 qui a désormais 5 étoiles : ne pas tenir compte des avis antérieurs à la rénovation. C’est une réussite, ce mariage de contemporain avec de l’ancien est exemplaire. Le clou est la zone wellness qui est un havre de zenitude. Pour trouver quelque chose, il fait un peu chaud dès que la température extérieure monte un peu. Le fait d’être centre ville est un avantage et un inconvénient pour le parking… sauf réservation préalable mais l’hôtel est tellement cosy qu’on oublie ces détails.
