Hotel in zona Hotel Legouz de Gerland, Digione

We checked in yesterday (02 Jan 2024) for 2 nights stay. The hotel seems to be fanciful but breakfast is priced very expensively at 21€. We wanted to try this new concept of the Accor group anyway so why not? The room was in general clean but to my horror, upon lifting up the toilet bowl cover, I was greeted with a toilet bowl full of yellowish piss that had not been flushed away. That meant that the toilet was never ever cleaned before releasing for next guest.. or the housekeeping took a convenient piss before leaving and forgetting to flush. Anyway, it could be a genuine mistake so let's not make a fuss at this moment. But I was disappointed to see that there was hardly any amenities in the room. No tea or coffee bags with water boiler. There was only a packet of drinking water in the minibar. It turned out that the water was not even replenished the next day. What was funny: there is a sticker on the minibar door that indicates vending machine available on ground floor. But it could not be found. When we asked the receptionist, we were told that the vending machine is still yet to be installed ??!?!? And suggested to us to go to their restaurant bar to order water or drinks instead. No way ! I am not going to pay for pricey drinking water or tea from their restaurant. Not mentioning that the service charge we will have to pay for getting drinking water there. For a hotel at this tariff, I expected at least to have the basic water, teabags and coffee bags available and replenished! At least most of the basic hotels in France offer this. Some hotels would even offered a coffee machine with capsules. It makes us started to look around the room with a more critical eye. Indeed not only drinking water and basic beverages are not offered. There was only a small bar of handsoap and a miserable piece of body soap placed in the shower to be shared by two occupants of the room. Not only that, the next day after housekeeping, the body soap was not replenished at all. We came back into the room to see the previous bar of soap lying there miserably. This is not what we expected from an Accor hotel which is usually a brand we feel confident in. Mama Shelter tries to be hip and fanciful in their loud decor but in real fact is lacking in hospitality by trying their best to save up whatever they can from the basic necessities (soap, drinking water...) Definitely I will not ever stay in this chain ever again. I sincerely hope Accor group will review and see if it fits their usual standards, because I surely don't think so.

Posizione ideale per una visita a Digione. Arredamento sobrio e accogliente. Personale gentile e disponibile. Stanza sobria e pulita. La nostra, che affacciava sul cortile interno, molto silenziosa e luminosa. Bagno piuttosto spazioso, con comoda cabina doccia e un termosifone sempre tiepido, ottimo per asciugare accappatoi e costumi dopo la piscina. In camera macchina da caffè nespresso e the di ottimo livello. Non c’ è il frigo bar ma ogni giorno abbiamo trovato nuove bottiglie di acqua sul comodino. È un po’ piccolo lo spazio per gli abiti, ma per soggiorni brevi non ci è sembrato un grande problema. Nell’hotel anche una piccola spa e un bel cortile. Buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo. La catena di hotel Oceania è di Brest e ha altri hotel in Francia.

Modern hotel, spacious, clean and tidy. Very friendly and service-orientated staff: by the way, that also understands and speaks English if your French is insufficient or absent at all. Breakfast was ok, but average. What was lacking is an instruction joe the machine that boils eggs works. Parking place is perfect.

I always stay here and will continue to do so - but there is a decline in standards. On my last two stays the toilet was stained and not well cleaned, wallpaper had been ripped away in places, property of previous occupants was still in the room and there were broken tiles in the shower room. A slip in standards that could easily be rectified. The location of this Hotel and the friendly staff mean I will continue to use it regularly, but dont let it slip further.

Ampio parcheggio interno, scoperto, non a pagamento. Posizione vicino alla stazione dei treni e comoda per raggiungere il centro città. Letti comodi e standard IBIS per quel che riguarda il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Colazione buona.

Viaggiare in auto verso sud della Spagna così influenzato da hotel che forniscono parcheggio sicuro. Questo hotel è adeguato. Il personale è amichevole e molto utile. Le camere sono molto basilari ma pulite. Abbiamo soggiornato domenica notte - molto difficile trovare dove aprirsi a mangiare. L'hotel non ha un ristorante ma serve un buon colazione in una zona del bar del snack - la signora che ha servito colazione è stata anche molto piacevole e utile. Buona per un fermo di notte.

Non conoscevamo questa catena ”Adonis” e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. La camera era spaziosa, perfettamente pulita, molto ben attrezzata, con personale affascinante. Il posto era tranquillo, abbiamo trascorso una fantastica serata lì.

Mi sorprendeva molto quanto questo hotel fosse bello considerando il prezzo. Cercavo un posto per una notte mentre facevo una tour a bici vicino Dijon. Penso di avere l'ultima stanza disponibile. Ha due letti gemelli, che normalmente non avrei avuto. Ma sono felice di aver fatto. La stanza era molto pulita e aveva una vista così bella sul campo di rotolamento, e anche le ombre esterne erano automatiche che aiutavano davvero a oscurare la stanza mattina. Era un personale molto accogliente e mi hanno lasciato conservare la mia bici in una stanza di magazzinaggio. Avverto che se siete su una bici, l'hotel è situato dopo un lungo monte di montagna. Grande per le viste, ma è un lavoro per pedalare fino. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui di nuovo

Hotel eccellente, moderno e nuovo. Camere funzionali con il giusto spazio, silenziose e molto pulite. TV con canali in tutte le lingue compreso l'italiano. Parcheggio disponibile sia a pagamento (chiuso e recintato) che non. Nelle immediate vicinanze anche un centro commerciale con cinema, ristoranti e bowling. Colazione eccezionale, sia dolce che continentale. Personale della massima cortesia e disponibilità. Apprezzato il silenzio assoluto nelle camere, anche la mattina da parte delle donne delle pulizie

Posizione per soggiorni brevi, shopping per 1 notte. Apprezzo il parcheggio gratuito. Tuttavia, la moquette in camera è un po' vecchia e ci sono alcune differenze nel bagno, come il lime sul rubinetto e così via. Ad esempio in camera c'è la macchinetta del caffè, ma bisogna chiedere alla reception capsule e prodotti da bagno, altrimenti questo quattro stelle è già disponibile. Non ci tornerò. Conclusione: sì, ma non più.
