I read a lot of reviews. So we decided to stay here based on the promo and the 4 star rating. No way is this 4 star. We were in room 11 with a king bed and ocean view. The room was big and roomy. There was a king bed but it was oh so uncomfortable. The wifi was spasmodic. As for the door onto the tiny verandah you could hardly open it and it was a challenge to lock it too. There was no insect screen on the door so leaving it open for fresh air and no bugs was not an option. The balcony was real small. Parking was plentiful. The shelf in the bathroom fell off. The toilet had only 1 half flush function. The other side didn’t work. The shower was good though and there was a mini bar. We dined at the restaurant and wow was that different. We had 3 drinks each and they were the same but each time we were charged a different price - only found out about this when I checked my payment record. As for the food we had entrees of calamari- really nice and cheesy garlic bread - nice and tasty and lots of pieces. Our entrees had just arrived and our mains arrived 2 minutes later - sorry kitchen made a mistake we were told. Our mains were chicken Caesar salad. What a joke of a meal. In reality the mains were inedible. The biggest panko bread crumbed piece of chicken that had been cooked to death and was tasteless and we really needed a saw to cut it. There was 4 croutons and a smattering of cut lettuce. We found a small amount of Caesar dressing in a corner and this meal was also served with chips. We had paid for a cooked breakfast when we booked on line some time earlier but had to wait until 8am to get this as the chef didn’t start until 8am. We had poached eggs and bacon. Probably the best meal we had there. This place is old and really need some serious spending on it to make it 4 star.

Top dollar price for 2* accommodation. Two nights in an ocean view room. Fabulous view but, oh dear, the room was dire. We booked and paid for a room with kitchenette - their description not mine. The kitchenette was tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. No toaster, no microwave. Zilch. No chance of self catering unless you use the communal kitchens. Thanks but no thanks. We had taken our own breakfasts which didn’t need toasting or microwaving. The bathroom was tired and grubby with an extractor fan attached to the same switch as the light so no creeping to the loo in the night without waking other half up! The main restaurant was OK but our starter of seafood came without the Exmouth prawns which were advertised as part of the seafood plate. When we queried this omission we were told they’d run out. They told us they’d given us an extra scallop as compensation! When we were eating our mains the manager turned up at the table with a plate with 3 prawns on! Had he just caught them or had the kitchen brigade defrosted them? We’ll never know as we sent them back to the kitchen. Second night we ate in the bar - pizza. Not home made but from a packet. I saw them opening them. They were OK but at $25 each they should have been fabulous. Wednesday 31 May there was a big rugby game on TV which we wanted to watch in the bar. No problem until a small group of people became very drunk and very offensive. One guy in particular was effing and blinding at another group of people who, fortunately, were adult enough to ignore him. When we spoke to the barman and asked if they were trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol he told us that he wasn’t sure! Was there a language problem. I thought the RSA was a requirement of working on licensed premises in W.A. The experience left a bit of a sour taste. To sum up - there is very little accommodation in Monkey Mia except the resort so they have cornered the market. The property is tired and in need of investment. Come on RAC - update this site. A lick of paint won’t do. It needs bringing into 2023. It’s stuck in 1990!

Mia moglie e io abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti, arrivando a 1PM da Carnarvon con una macchina da noleggio. Ho usato la casella di chiusura per accedere alla mia lettera con il nome con la chiave per il nostro alloggio prepagato. Villa #9, entrato attraverso la porta di vetro scivolante del patio, era pulita, aperta e spaziale con tutto ciò che si poteva bisogno, compresa una cucina completamente attrezzata(forno a gas e frigorifero a dimensioni piene), un piccolo bagno con doccia/fan e una camera da letto con una comoda regina. Sono stati forniti due piccoli bar di sapone e liquido di lavaggio. Non era necessario l'unità AC più vecchia, il WIFI sicuro era medio e il lavastoviglie/lavastoviglie era bello. Il solo panino frigorifero era molto grande e sbagliato, il fan della cucina era troppo rumoroso da usare, era difficile da leggere con la luce della camera da letto limitata e la TV aveva molti canali ma era piccola. Camminando lungo il fronte della baia, il suo 1 blocco a sud verso l'IGA e 1 blocco a nord verso il Centro di scoperta.

Il mio soggiorno è stato lo Chalet #11 (una camera da letto) che aveva una vista parziale sull'oceano e poteva facilmente ospitare 4 persone. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso da quanto sia perfettamente curato, pulito e nuovo l'interno dello chalet. Dato che ho dovuto viaggiare da Jurien Bay a Denham, non sono entrato fino alle 17:40 e Tara mi ha lasciato le chiavi e il modulo per il check-in, attaccato alla porta d'ingresso dell'ufficio amministrativo. La cucina era completamente attrezzata con tutti gli utensili e forno a microonde. Bustine di tè e caffè istantanei in omaggio. Sono stati forniti articoli da toeletta adeguati, asciugamani e servizi. Sono stato sorpreso di trovare anche un asciugacapelli! C'è anche un lavandino separato in cui puoi lavare i bagnanti. La ricezione della TV era un po' irregolare mentre ero lì, ma quando a Denham, riempi la TV. La velocità di Internet era buona: poteva trasmettere in streaming da Spotify e YouTube senza problemi o pause. Il check-in e il check-out sono stati un affare ventilato. Il parcheggio era ampio. Oh, la vista del tramonto dallo stabilimento era straordinaria!! Avrei voluto essere riuscito a strappare uno chalet sulla spiaggia (la prossima volta!). Tara è stata un'assoluta delizia con cui parlare. Un milione di grazie per aver tenuto il mio caricabatterie!!

Il parco caravan è eccellentemente situato sulla spiaggia e a piedi a distanza di tutti i pub e negozi locali. I siti sono spaziosi e facilmente accessibili. La tariffa notturna è molto ragionevole. Le strutture più basse sono date, ma le strutture più alte sono moderne e ben pensate. Il personale è molto amichevole e utile. Molto consiglia parco.

Una fila di persone in una stanza piatta, il bagno di drago non si ferma l'acqua, e il giorno intero si risponde; molto vicino al mare, c'è una piccola strada fuori dalla porta che è il mare, e c'è una piccola spiaggia che può andare a giocare con l'acqua.Ciascuna stanza ha un parcheggio fisso. Entrambe le camere hanno un letto grande e piccolo, la tavola da pranzo della sala soggiorno è grande, ci sono attrezzature di cucina frigorifero e pulizia, perché non si laverà dopo l'uso, sarà prelevato $50 da sterline, ma non ho bisogno di lavarmi, tutti usano un solo accessorio. Chieda di lasciare la casa prima delle nove del mattino, altrimenti si perde 50 dollari australiani o mezza giornata di spese di alloggio.
