The Bird house is right in the middle of the areas best attractions. It sits only 3 miles from Little River Canyon. While being only 4 miles away from DeSoto State Park. This cabin is perfect for a couples romantic retreat. Single bedroom, one bath cabin. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, a balcony leading out of the bedroom that overlooks the beginning of a 20 acre wooded lot. A custom large walk In shower with a clear glass door. Nicely decorated throughout and has a very warming feeling as soon as you walk in. Its fully stocked with kitchen utensils and pans. The cast iron skillets are to be used if you wish as well. We have a charcoal grill on the porch for those who like to cookout. The HOT TUB is a favorite among guest, perfect mood to light up the large outdoor firepit at night and sit back in the private hot tub, such a romantic and relaxing experience. The cabin sits at the front of a 20 acre lot that puts you right at natures door step. Great phone service and you can be in town within a 8 minutes drive. We are very close to Weiss lake at 17 minutes, Fort Payne reservoir at 10 minutes and Dekalb County lake at 20 minutes. So bring those boats and kayaks for some great fishing.We are very communicative and will happily guide you to the areas best attractions whether it be Restaurants, Fishing, Hiking, Malls and so on. Centrally located between Fort Payne and Mentone it is a quick drive to DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon for those seeking outdoor adventure! We also love to host out of town workers. Make our place your home away from home. The spaceSince we are located on 4 private acres there is much room outside to have fun and explore. A nice fire pit for relaxing around a fire with family and friends. Enjoy a 12 foot x 60 foot back patio with comfy furniture and outdoor dining. Full kitchen with all new appliances. Super spacious living room with three comfy couches for lounging.Other things to noteOur home is situated on 4 private acres. To access our house you will drive down 1/3 of a mile on a maintained dirt road. My father-in-law lives in the garage apartment attached to the home.
