The Hotel Divinus restaurant completely changed. Fully refurbished. We visited the newly furbished restaurant with new restaurant manager and chef. The menu is excellent, both fine dining and traditional dishes. The mushroom soup was excellent. There are no words about the veal liver with onion chutney and mash. All very tasty. If you stay in Debrecen, do not miss the Dominus and Divinus restaurants in the hotel.

I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. Working with hospitality needs some social skills and ambitions to give the guests good service. The staff of this hotel has nothing of it. It was more a scam like and lazy staff. Let's start with the worst. When we checked out, the receptionist invented a new fee. He charged us for changing towels. We stayed three nights and he charged us for three changes. We protested. There was no information about this on the website, on ********** or in the bathroom or when we checked in. The receptionist said that we could see it on the TV in the room. We didn't watch TV - most of the channels are on hungarian. The attitude is also unfriendly. We had some things to celebrate and had a small bottle of champagne. We asked for a wine glass or a champagne glass. The portier said that they didn't have any glasses. One minutes walk from his chair there was a breakfast room with a bar and a lot of both wine glasses and champagne glasses. The breakfast was a joke. They had some deep fried vegetables that were so greasy that we felt sick when we tried it. No lactose free yogurt and no seeds or oats... just some low cost coco pops and the cheapest musli. The bread was just white and dry. Breakfast is not worth the stay. We had a hard time sleeping because of noisy drunk people outside the hotel- But the worst was to see the portier when we checked out. He had no pride and didn't even try to cover his lack of service and hospitality. I strongly recommend guests to not stay here. There are other nice hotels in Debrecen.

Molto ben situato nel centro della città, in una tranquilla strada semi-pietone vicino a Kossuth Ter. È stato stabilito*****t moderno, ben decorato, con un bar-restaurante sul soffitto, ma che non causa danni sonori durante la notte. Personale simpatico, inglese, efficace. Pagamenti per soggiorno richiesto all'arrivo, possibile in euro. Camera confortevole e abbastanza spaziosa. Grande doccia luminosa, dove i prodotti di accoglienza si limitano a 2 distributori di sapone liquido. E' un po' chic. Un piccolo bicchiere d'acqua del Balaton, rinnovato ogni giorno del soggiorno. Fornitore, caffè in polvere e infusioni. Ho chiesto una stanza tranquilla, ad un piano alto e lontano dall'ascensore per riposare. Mi sono sentito ascoltato. Un cane non stava fermando la stanza vicino a me poco dopo la mia arrivo, l'ho segnalato alla ricezione e il personale è stato molto reattivo ed efficace. Non ho più sentito questo animale di tutta la mia permanenza! Televisione collegata con canali internazionali tra cui TV5Monde e France24 francofoni. Il buffet è sottile e vario, uno dei migliori del mio soggiorno in Ungheria: piatti caldi presentati in bellissime cocotti (salsicce, uova sgusciate, fagioli bianchi pomodori, funghi, rosti, bacon ...) ma anche pancake o crocodile, cartucce, formaggio, yaurti, cereali, sementi, bevande fredde e calde, Prosecco, pane, frutta fresca o secca, ecc ... Ci sono per tutti i gusti e questo permette di iniziare la giornata in forma completa! Ho passato un bel soggiorno all'hotel Mercure de Debrecen!
