I am on my Vismin leg of trainings and Davao is my last for this week. Had a great, smooth time in Tacloban, Cebu, Bohol and this last seminar in this hotel have been very challenging so far. At the front desk, I requested for lower floor, which I normally do (due personal traumatic experience which I do not need to explain) and after a series of ”please” thank God, Kate of Front Desk stepped in and found us a room at 6th which will be ready only by 5pm. It was turned over around 6pm. In preparation for our Monday seminar, we coordinated with Rose of Banquet to ocular the place as we have a specific layout to follow that will be good for classroom set up, group dynamics and dining. When we arrived at Ruby function room, linen staff Cory was there arranging for our seminar on Monday so we rendered help in lay outing the tables and chairs, projector screen. When we had to coordinate with the technical, we requested an HDMI longer than 1 meter so laptop can rest on the tech table. Sure they have a longer one but with additional charge of P300/day. When I asked for wireless mic to be used since the activity will involve passing around of microphone among the participants, guess what? Yes, an additional P800/mic/day will be charged! So with the 3 days seminar and 1 week stay that we pre booked and paid , these little requests do not come free. I do not want to ruin my Davao stay because I am an avid fan of our former President Duterte and only have the highest respects for his place. I hope to find some pleasant things from this hotel for the remaining days of my stay here to compensate for the ugly start. Time to activate the Vision Mission which is in every room of the hotel and not just left on the brochure. A simple greeting, some genuine smiles mean a lot to every customer. So far the only staff who has a ready smile and genuinely asks how he can be of service is Jaypee, service crew of Cafe Frances. He takes time to talk with the customers and ask how they are doing and recommends the best dish. Food is great and reasonably priced -- large servings and delicious! As for the edifice, needs repairs and refurbs. We had to call in help for the A/C and busted light bulb.

Io e la mia famiglia con bambini piccoli siamo rimasti in questo hotel per una notte. I miei genitori si sono rilassati durante il nostro soggiorno e i bambini hanno goduto di nuotare così tanto. Tutti noi amava il buffet del colazione dove c'era molto cibo da scegliere. Anche la vista del cielo era grande. Ci siamo seduti la notte e ci siamo divertiti con la musica in diretta. Sicuramente consigliamo questo hotel per soggiorno, soprattutto se avete figli con voi.

You get what you pay for. Room is so small. Towels, toiletries and linen are not replaced everyday. There are alot of mosquitos and sometimes it is noisy during night time. My television has volume problems. Over all good for short term stay.

Abbiamo camminato per la maggior parte dei luoghi dovevamo andare, molto centrale. Questo è un hotel a basso costo, prezioso ma è pulito, comodo letto e ha le basi come si aspetta. Bella personale. Offriva un parcheggio stradale sicuro.

This hotel has many issues and I guess I got many of them on my 2 night visit Pros - bed and bedding comfortable Pros - air conditioning was good Cons - No Hot water for 2 Days so have cold showers. Unacceptable! Cons - Half the shower head worked the other one Not work Cons - TV remote difficult and had to call maintenance to fix and re set Cons - WiFi weak at best with slow download Cons - Restaurant was way over priced as an example 2 cups of cold rice , a piece of chicken and an egg with one coffee and one orange juice 700’pesos. The Rice amd egg cold. Further Resturant and hotel not take credit card for restaurant charges. They need to inform guests of those scenarios on check in. Cons - had to ask for a safe for the room and they installed but it was old and batteries fell out because were being held by some tape. Consequently couldn’t open the safe after locked because the batteries fell out of holder. Frustrating at best Cons- road noise most of the night and day as right across the street from SM Ecoland and all the jeepneys and tricycle s were Loading people. So my thoughts good luck 🍀 if you decide to visit here. 👎

L'altro 5 maggio al 6 maggio sono rimasto anche in Q8 ed è stata una buona esperienza. Ma lo scorso 18 luglio, quando ho lasciato il biancheria e le tovaglie sono odore di male, forse perché non l'hanno asciugata bene. Spero che controllino bene il lavandino prima di metterle in camera.

Rogen Inn is a relatively new hotel. I was told they just opened this year. Location-wise, while it is still technically within the Poblacion or city center, I find that one has to walk a few thousands of feet before reaching the main highway. While there are restaurants and a coffee shop within the hotel building, you may find the need to look for other options. This is not available within a stone's throw. The free breakfast from MarinaTuna in the hotel complex is basic. It fills the tummy, but not the gastronomic soul. In terms of facilities, it has bad internet service and bad cable TV. Channels are few. Watching is a drag. The size of the room can only accommodate 2 people. 3 individuals won't fit in comfortably in one room. Staff are helpful in fairness, but won't go beyond the call of duty. If you need a more strategic hotel, this is not it. Otherwise, this will do.

Mia moglie ha soggiornato in quarantena. Ho prenotato questo con Facebook e era eccezionalmente bene sostenuto da Raymond all'hotel. Quando la mia famiglia (moglie, figlio e figlia del bambino) amava la stanza e la cena e mi ha detto quanto il personale era utile e amichevole. Ora le quarantene sono finite, forse torneremo a cantare al KTV quando torneremo alle Filippine.
