Inea Hotel

We booked a week independently at this beautiful hotel as we struggled to book through a holiday company. It was certainly worth the effort! From the wonderful greeting upon arrival to the assistance into the taxi on the way home- we experienced a truly relaxing stay at this hotel. The staff are all wonderfully polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is maintained very well with pool/ beach towels provided as needed. There are about 24 comfortable sun beds around the pool & no-one ‘claimed’ them, any bed left unattended for a length of time was cleared for the next guest. Hurray- well done. The hotel has a lift to all floors and also has stair-lifts into the breakfast/ restaurant area and up to the reception area. The hotel is in a quiet vicinity, with no noisy bars / pubs nearby. We found enough places to eat nearby including a very nice lunch in the Milios restaurant (the hotel restaurant). Chania is easy enough to get to for lots of choice & shopping. There is a park over the road, and lots of locals use this and nearby sports clubs so there is a pleasant mix of people enjoying this lovely suburb. Beaches are 5-15 mins away, a choice of 4, all lovely - clear water, mainly sandy, quiet beach bars on all, sun beds, areas to lay on the sand & one cove had an electronic sea-trac to enable those with reduced mobility to get in/out of the sea. We stayed in the room above reception- a pool view. One thing to note is that some rooms are lower ground, however all have an area to sit outside and there are some lovely private spaces to sit both in & out of the sun around the hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to the Inea Sole and Crete.

Beautiful boutique hotel in excellent location. Very clean and modern. Comfy, large bed with good pillows. The staff were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The young lady on reception was always smiling and couldn’t do enough for you, whilst the staff in the restaurant/bar were hard working, constantly polite and cheerful. They made it a little special simply by remembering your preferences at breakfast and for drinks. Breakfast was different as you ordered small (excellent) meals from the menu. The location is quiet (albeit late September) but lovely beaches on your doorstep and a large array of restaurants to choose from. Pool was cool and gym small with treadmill, bike, free weights and bench and a multi-gym. Might have a problem with sun beds in busier periods but we didn’t experience that.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the team could not have done more to help us and be of service. Extra hangers, sheets and even making us up a breakfast box when we gave very short notice of a trip. The hotel is stunningly clean, modern and pool, rooms and facilities are very good. Breakfast is amazing ! But that aside what really makes it is the staff, who go the extra mile at all times to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Inea Sole hotel is new, very clean and shiny and very convenient to Chania's most beautiful beaches. Just crossed the road and accessed the sea. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. For breakfast we had to choose from a menu. Even though there was a big choice as well as Cretan dishes I would have liked a buffet breakfast. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and always with a smile. The couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and comfortable. My husband and I generally enjoyed our stay at Inea Sole Hotel.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. I really cannot say there is anything negative. The staff are completely professional and go out of their way to make your stay fantastic. They feel completely invested in this place. The rooms and food are 5 star and cleanliness is superb here. There is an air of calm here and I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you so much

Just the best hotel ever! We normally stay in 5* hotels but this one was new so we gave it a go and so glad we did! Kiki on the main desk is an absolute dream, so friendly and helpful, along with the rest of the staff who are so lovely! The breakfast is amazing, and pool is lovely. We stayed in the suite with private pool and it didn’t disappoint, the pool was perfect and we just spent our whole time on our terrace in our own pool, highly recommend! Location is great as well, you probably have to get taxis into Chania which is fine, you could walk but might take a while, we always got taxis, and it wasn’t expensive and super easy from front desk. Otherwise, the area around is great with lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance!
