We enjoyed our stay at the Serena Hotel. The lobby alone is beautiful, and a great place to sit and people-watch. There are multiple places to grab a snack or meal, including full-service restaurants as well as a sports bar and a coffee bar. The employees, from the bellhops to the waitstaff, are all phenomenal. We learned on this trip that when it comes to hospitality, Tanzanians are the best. On the morning we were to check out, our flight did not depart Dar es Salaam until midnight. The staff went above and beyond, allowing us to remain in our rooms several hours after the regular checkout time, for which we were extremely grateful. We especially appreciate Rozina for making that happen! Overall, we had a great stay.

Il servizio di guardia è un po'problema. Solo tre volte ci sono voluti i denti, due ci sono voluti uno! Il primo giorno di giornata è sparito! Il rimorchio unico è anche la prima volta che viene usato per non cambiare!Un cambiamento unico è di lunga durata! Un altro difetto è che la velocità WiFi è troppo lenta, e l'orologio blu mostrato sotto la TV è troppo scherzoso.

Il ristorante di 360 gradi al piano superiore è ancora un po'inferiore ad altre introduzione. Il hardware complessivo è simile all'hotel rapido nazionale, Dopo aver entrato nella porta il primo giorno, dubito di aver sbagliato. È molto piccolo lobby, una reception di un personale di servizio, non essere in confronto con le vacanze nazionali.Molti hotel intorno a loro sono andati a vedere altri, ma non sapevo che gli altri erano meno come questo (vicino a un non di cinque stelle, il prezzo è raddoppiato),

I have been traveling to this beautiful city of Dar es Salam for the past 20 years and have stayed at almost all the hotels and hotel/apartments that rate from 3* to 5*. I have to be honest that many have impressed me and some disappointed me and I could say some have surprised me, but I still had to find one that was 100% on point until I landed at Aura Suites. This place is in a wonderful location of the city, it is central and it can serve business people single or in groups, it could play host to families on short stays or those in transit and would also be ideal for groups of tourists. I happens to pick a one bedroom suite, what I got was jaw dropping and for a very very affordable rate inclusive of breakfast. I had what they call a mini kitchen but to me was a kitchen for a good 2 bedroom apartment anywhere in the world, I got a living room with beautiful furniture and a massive television, a dining room, a guest cloak room, a laundry room and the bedroom was actually even more than my expectation this is a huge en-suite room with a massive TV, closet, and safe box. The furniture and fixtures are all top notch and of high quality. The showers are rain showers with enough water pressure and hot water is always available. They have a roof top bar and restaurant on the 16th floor that gives you an amazing view of the skyline of Dar es salaam, the food was amazing and they have every kind of drink at their bar and all at very competitive reasonable prices. The entire building is immensely neat and clean it may remind you of a military hospital in terms of the precision and attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and well maintained. Last but not least the staff are friendly, and educated with knowledge of what they are serving in drink or food which at times can be a challenge even in the top 5* hotels in Dar. I was amazed that the top management and managers of the hotel are consistently moving around the place and checking on the services, as I assumed these maybe businessman who are guests but very professional well dressed men would approach me and always ask if I am ok and how was my meal and my breakfast and or if I slept well. All in all they have me as their regular customer and I recommend anybody intending to visit Dar to stay at Aura suites

Con un ”bello spazio” per muoversi in camera dove c'era anche ”una buona selezione” di canali di notizie e film sulla TV, è stato un piacevole soggiorno in questo luogo e dove aggiunto al comfort è la comodità del ”restaurante di tetto” dove, oltre al colazione (che era una ”bella omelette”) è stato dove ho anche mangiato la maggior parte dei miei pranzi e cena durante il mio soggiorno (alcune varietà di biryani disponibili). E sì, anche di comodità ”intorno a questo hotel” sono un certo numero di mini-produzioni, un grande mercato bagnato, tipo di semiconduttore con lati aperti, un piccolo lato della strada ”pienamente dentro” restaurante (non direttamente intorno, ma a un isolato di distanza e sì che probabilmente non è l'unico vicino a questo posto), l'ufficio di autobus per il Kilimanjaro Express (circa un isolato di distanza dove ho preso il mio autobus a Arusha abbastanza presto al mattino), e un ospedale per il test PCR (circa 5-minute camminare dopo la prima registrazione sul sito web del Ministero della Sanità Tanzania e pagare presso la banca che è anche ben situato a comodo lungo la strada da questo hotel).

First day of arrival the air conditioner was not working and they immediately asked someone to fix. And the restaurant was good in my expectation, it closes at 11pm and I can still order food at 1030pm. The only improvement is that the WiFi is poor, almost no connection in my room.

We stayed here after an overland tour and couldn’t have been more impressed with service and kindness. The Hotel is ideally located in downtown Dar. The room was ideal with a good shower and air conditioning. The included breakfast was also excellent with friendly staff and great choice of local foods. We had a late flight change and were offered a late check out and an easy reorganisation of our airport transfer. We recommend this Hotel and after visiting over 100 countries feel it is up there with the best.

La struttura è stata molto confortevole, utile e sempre più confortevole, le camere sono molto confortevoli e pulite, con TV, mini frigo e aria condizionata. Le toilette erano molto pulite e sane, e le tole erano anche profumate come se fossero ben lavate. Mi piaceva che l'hotel fosse nel centro della città con un vicino accesso a una varietà di importanti luoghi, ristoranti e negozi. Non mi piaceva che ci fosse un sacco di rumore intorno alla mia stanza, mentre il personale di pulizia era occupato a pulire altre stanze e a fare un sacco di rumore e di porte di pressione; anch’io ero in una stanza senza fumare e potevo profumare fumo da altre stanze. Ho chiesto alla ricezione di cambiare la mia stanza, come hanno fatto.

The hotel is located in the city center.. The staff is very nice and friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Raj General Manager. His warm hospitality makes you feel more than welcome. This hotel is a gem in the middle of Dar. We were taken there by our airport driver as we were not too sure of the hotel we had previously booked. It turned out to be a delight. The rooms are huge, super clean and cosy. The bathroom was well stocked with all toiletries. Breakfast was good with sufficient variety. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The only annoyance was the mosque which was quite close to the hotel, and which would have otherwise been a nuisance early in the morning. However, i did not mind it much since I needed to get up early for the day's meetings anyway. We were able to get the accommodation at a discount, and I wish the hotel can review the prices appearing on online sites which may otherwise discourage prospective guests. Otherwise, I had a good experience and would not hesitate staying here the next time I'm in Dar.
