Fabulous resort right in heart of everything. Stunning resort overlooking rice paddy fields and jungle so serene Food here is outstanding especially the buffet for dinner. A fabulous time for us to come from Sydney /Australia to escape our winter and explore this amazing country

Really disappointed with our stay here. Staff very unattentive unlike other places and not the usual Sri Lankan warmth we have experienced. Room nice enough but really lacking any kind of warmth and soul to this place. Food was just awful - buffet style like sitting in a canteen. Open from 7:30-9:00 we arrived at 8:00 there was nothing left on the salad bar and most of the hot food dishes were low too. Desserts completely tasteless. They need to sort the dining facilities out here.

Our stay was terrible and extremely disappointing. Don’t be misled by the photos they’ve published. We booked a villa, and it was in horrible condition. The doors couldn’t be locked, allowing mosquitoes to enter through broken areas. Cleanliness was nonexistent, the bathroom showers were broken, and the hot water didn’t work properly. The plunge pool was out of order, the chairs in the room were broken, and the TV didn’t work despite multiple requests to fix it. We also asked to be moved to another villa, but they refused to accommodate us. Save your money and time—this place is not worth it.

We had a lovely trip at Sigiriya Resort by Thilanka, it was a wonderful experience, my first time there. I enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the property which allowed me to explore and relax. I would like to specifically mention Dilani, front office executive - such a vibrant welcoming personally, the resort is very lucky to have such a delightful ambassador, she made us feel at home and arranged birthday amenities to our friend who was celebrating her birthday. A very special thank you to her x Apart from her, I’d like to mention Dhanushka from F&B and Isuru from house keeping, who were very helpful during our stay. Lastly, I’d like to say that food could be better, especially the quality of food and the presentation of the dining area could be more appealing and complimenting the rest of the hotel. Apart from that everything else was good!
