Fantastic room. The hotel is older but that’s part of the charm. Maintenance seems fair for its age. The decor is modern and staff is pleasant. My one complaint is that the room doors rattle the whole wall when we or the neighbors exit.

The property is gorgeous and luxurious. However, their check in process and valet was painfully slow. I understand it was the holiday rush but I felt for that level of hotel, it should be more seamless.

Very classy hotel; used their shuttle to a restaurant and service was great and pickup was quick; front desk staff very snotty re us using ******* booking; valet personnel were very nice, but car retrieval at checkout took FOREVER and when we got car, our cooler had been turned over (bc of erratic driving ?????) and entire car was soaked; hot water in shower was almost non-existent

Central location is a plus. Appreciated the car service to venues close by. Alejandro gave us excellent service. The room: 1602: Hot water took forever! Telephone kept cutting out (until the battery was changed). TV connection was intermittent. Late Saturday evening the TV wouldn't go on at all. This shouldn't happen in a 5* hotel.

This vintage and classic hotel did not disappoint. We found it to be true to tradition yet modern in approach and amenities. The staff was friendly and tuned in to the needs of guests. The restaurants and bars were excellent as well.

Having my room I booked months in advance cancelled the day of my arrival is a terrible way to operate a business. Especially during a large event making it extremely difficult to find other accommodations. Extraordinarily inconsiderate and unconscionable really.

Quick overnight trip to Dallas for a concert. Hotel was easy to find and we were able to walk to dinner and the concert venue. Hotel is a great mix or historical character and modernity.

They lobby and the vibe in the lobby were great. Once you step out of the elevators onto your floor “you’re not in Kansas anymore” it’s a total vibe shift, in the worst way possible. Bad carpet, terrible lighting, and then walking into the rooms is very underwhelming. The furniture is distasteful and sp****. The carpet and curtains are hideous, and the bedding and pillow situation is absolutely abhorrent. After seeing the first room we were offered and knowing we were paying close to $500 to stay for one night I was compelled to ask for a better room. It was oddly shaped weirdly situated, and had a very undesirable bathroom. The king size bed looked about the size of a normal queen, maybe three or 4 inches wider, and still the two tiny pillows on the bed, didn’t even come close to breaching three-quarters of the width of the bed. They were smaller than standard pillows and filled with pebble sized foam pellets. Unbelievable that Bonvoy would be OK with putting their name on a hotel with such sp**** amenities. The other two pillows were squares, hard as a rock shams. We got upgraded to an executive suite, it had the same exact pillows and terrible bathroom. It was larger in size, and included a sofa and coffee table. Hotels should realize that bedding is the most important aspect of a hotel room. Without proper comfortable bedding, there is very little, if any sleep. that brings me to the comforter that reminded me more of a wafer than a comforter. It was thin and stiff. Nope!

Showed up at 330 to check in, room wasn't ready and they didn't give a time when it would. We were just left standing there. They gave us the option to take a single bed room instead of the two kings we booked with no compensation. We had to take it to get in and shower for an event. Absolutely ridiculous. We live in Dallas and selected this for our anniversary, making my anniversary challenging was not why I booked with you
