Kandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable.

Truly an amazing experience we had in there. From the amenities to the staff. We enjoyed our stay and there and surely we will come back.

Our stay was great! Clean and peaceful. The staff were very accommodating too. More power.

Kandaya is kinda pricey but we get the service worthy for the price. All the staff are friendly, reliable and fast. We never had any single problems or concerns during our stay. We just need more time to explore the resort more. Everything was perfect

Beach Pool Villa was very nice. Resort wasn't crowded. Friendly professional staff. Plenty to do for the weekend stay. Restaurant was fine, good variety of choices. Taste was fine for what i orderedI Breakfast buffet was ok as well. Couldn't swim in the ocean because of jellyfish, that was ok as we had our own pool to play in! We will visit again at Christmas time

Absolutely beautiful resort located on the furthest northern area of Cebu. Our family stayed in different rooms: premier room, deluxe room and garden villa with a private pool. All are amazing rooms w/ so much space including office space and a bar area w/ a mini fridge. The bathrooms are huge with the waterfall showerhead ~ the garden villa even has a claw tub. We were only there for one day before heading to Malapscua but took advantage of all their amenities: gym, stand up paddle and hammock chairs on the beach. Unfortunately the jet skis were not available =/ while we were there. The breakfast that is included is generous with a lot of options. Meal service at other times was “okay” and we had to constantly as for water refills. My family and I would definitely stay here again if only it was more accessible =(

Room: - We booked the Adelfa Villa which can accommodate 6 people. We have a 10-month-old baby with us. When we arrived at the resort, we were very glad as the hotel staff in the reception were all smiles & very welcoming. They offered us a complimentary drink, which was very helpful as we were kinda tired from a 4-hour drive from the city. Not only that, they even allowed us to go to our villa even though it was not their check-in time yet, for us to rest. When we arrived in our villa & checked out the rooms inside, we chose the room with an own CR in it. That's when my 8-year-old daughter found a big cockroach roaming around the wall. I called the reception & told me that they'll send someone from housekeeping to get the roach out. The staff did come after 8 minutes after the bellman called him across from our villa. That was the first red flag for me. After that, I went to their CR (inside our room), it's darker than I expected because there was a busted light that they hadn't replaced before housing us. No bath mat- I need to call them & ask for it. And the hair conditioner container was empty. I felt that they were not making the room ready for us to think we booked this around November 2024. The ACU in the other room right next to the common CR is not getting any colder. Some outlets were not working. Restaurant: - On our second day of stay, we availed their breakfast buffet. The staff were very accommodating & helpful. They filled out our goblets with water. They even offered us to get a bowl with hot water for my baby's food pouch to get warmed. The food options were great. But in our second time visiting, it was quite the opposite. We arrived inside the restaurant, gave our coupons to the staff behind the bar & we went to look for our table. We were sitting on the other side of the restaurant to avoid crowds. My companions were getting their food already & I left at the table with my baby. No one approached us at our table given the numerous staff in the restaurant standing. My husband then approached one of them- wearing a white shirt & khaki shorts asking for a bowl of hot water. Still, no one went to our table to fill water in our goblets. That's when I asked the girl (wearing a green dress) who manned the bread station. They were not as attentive as the staff in our first-time dining. Another red flag is that the guy staff was always eager to get our empty plates as if he wanted us to leave the premises already. I don't know if that's their policy or what, but I find it rude. I was the last one eating because I let my baby eat first before me, so everyone at our table was done eating except me. Because of that, I feel pressure eating & my appetite lost.

The resort bills itself as 5 star or a luxury resort. I would label the hotel”Tired”. The staff are very friendly and the rooms spacious but a discerning traveler will notice the torn curtain shades or the uninteresting bread options on a Saturday morning breakfast buffet. The pool itself looks inviting and the room air conditioning quite cold. But if one drives 3 hours for the famed Daan Bantayan beach, be disappointed. the beach isnt worth wading on. Neither is the sand fine.

I've had the pleasure of staying at this resort three times now, and each visit has been delightful due to its stunning location. However, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. During my last stay, I left my iPad behind in the villa, and despite the device being connected and its location accurately pinned to the villa, it was not returned. This incident has been a valuable learning experience for me, highlighting that even in “luxurious” settings, honesty is not guaranteed. This incident has certainly tarnished my overall impression.

This place is an enigma. The rooms are really nice. The design is modern with all the comforts of a high end hotel. Bed was incredible. The restaurant is good. Food is tasty and well priced. However, this place isn’t a great option to stay at in our opinion. Here is why; 1. The grounds and beach are terrible. Not a nice place to swim and nothing seems well maintained. 2. They charge for almost all the water sports. At the price we are paying we should be able to use the equipment. As a result the beach is dead. 3. Walking outside the resort and there is trash everywhere. 4. Nowhere to venture outside the resort to. 5. The staff are nice but poorly trained. 6. There is no atmosphere any where. My daughter did love the small zoo and the horses.

Is this a good hotel? Yes, it is. Rooms at spa kid and clean, internet speed is surprisingly fast for the 🇵🇭. The hotel is also very expensive, here you are paying USA prices. The hotel is beach front but the beach is only for show since us full of jellyfish and by full I mean full, they are abundant and everywhere. If you jump on the water expert to be hit by at least a couple of them. The pool is amazing, one of my favorite during our 3 months trip and to many hotels around the country. The food is average, nothing to call home about. The staff is friendly for the most part.
