The Falcondale would do justice to a 5 star deluxe hotel with fine, tasteful decor throughout, the lounges having comfortable settees and antique pieces. It is obvious that large sums have been spent in the recent past with modern colour schemes giving an air of sophistication and luxury. The attention to detail is outstanding in the choice of furniture and little touches such as magazines and boxes of games. Staff also made our short stay enjoyable with particular mention of Mark who greeted us on arrival with a friendly smile and carried our luggage upstairs to our room. Indeed it was Mark who managed to sort out the lack of hot water which does seem to be a recurring problem. The spacious restaurant with immaculate white tablecloths served well prepared dishes such as the delicious Welsh lamb brisket. The comprehensive wine list was unusual in serving non alcoholic wines which was appreciated. All in all a very pleasant stay with a return visit planned next year.

My husband I spent 2 nights at The Falcondale over Easter and we had a magical time. The setting is idyllic and the views gorgeous. We stayed in Room 8 at the front of the house. Our room even had a four poster bed! So many lovely little welcoming touches such as homemade cookies, fresh flowers and a selection of magazines. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel so at home. We had dinner in house both nights and so glad we did. The food was fantastic . So many subtle changes since our last stay - the hotel is clearly loved by the new owners and it shows. We will be back for sure!

The service at the Falcondale was first class. The rooms are clean, spacious and stylish. The breakfast was excellent, the surrounding grounds are a delight. There is plenty of car parking space. It is only a short walk to the town centre. The is definitely the best place to stay in Lampter and it has the best restaurant.

Spent 2 nights at the hotel for daughter's wedding on October 11th. Excellent arrangements and service which made for a most memorable experience. Highly recommended wedding venue. Will visit again.

I’ve just returned from a short break at the Falcondale Hotel and have had such a lovely time. The hotel is beautifully furnished with just the right mix of charm and comfort. The grounds are absolutely stunning, really peaceful and relaxing making the hotel an ideal place for a quiet getaway. The staff were fantastic. Without exception they were friendly and accommodating and you felt that they really cared about making your visit special. I loved the food. The menu wasn’t huge but everything we had was flavoursome and beautifully presented. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and can’t wait to visit again.

Monday night, fabulous. Comfortable and relaxing. Restaurant was quiet but service was in no way different to what you could expect on Saturday night. Grounds were well kept and we had a nice walk around during a break in the weather. Our room, while basic was comfortable and had all we needed. I would say an iron would be helpful in the room. Breakfast which was included in the rate was plentiful and included cooked options. Given the breakfast in the rate it was very affordable. I looked long and hard for a boutique hotel in the country and this was perfect for us on our West Wales adventure. I will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at The Falcondale for the first time. We enjoyed three lovely relaxing days in this lovely old hotel. The setting, the staff and the food lived up to our expectations. Our room was spacious with all the amenities. Terrific views down the valley. First class breakfast with fried bread on the menu. In the evening a good bar is available and the dining room looks spectacular with the table lighting. The dinner is also excellent. It made a change to go somewhere that does what it says on the tin. Like Arnold says 'We will be back'. Also there is all the room you need for parking.

We had our very intimate wedding/gathering at the hotel & what a perfect venue for what we wanted. Most important to us was to have our two dogs with us amongst our nearest & dearest & they were able to be involved every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff & team there & the food was outstanding. With the sun beaming the views were breathtaking - Thank you to Neil, Marco, Hannah & Matthew & team for making our day so special.

Beautiful place staff are absolutely amazing so helpful attentive and just lovely people. The owners both personally came and asked us if everything was okay lovely couple. Took our little jack Russell with us and she was given a little dish with sausage in it for her breakfast. Would definitely recommend xx
