🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Il mio soggiorno recente a Ibis London Gatwick è stato un piacere assoluto, grazie al servizio clienti eccezionale fornito da Vanessa, la receptionista eccellente dell'hotel. Da quando sono arrivato all'hotel, il caldo e accogliente demo di Vanessa mi ha fatto sentire come un ospite prezioso. Mi ha salutato con un vero sorriso, ha preso il tempo di rispondere a tutte le mie domande e mi ha fornito informazioni utili sull'hotel e sulle sue strutture. La sua professionalità, la sua empatia e l'attenzione ai dettagli durante il processo di check-in sono stati davvero impressionanti, considerando che non ho avuto una prenotazione precedente e che ero un passeggiato in ospite. Per tutta la mia permanenza, Vanessa continuava a superare le mie aspettative con il suo servizio eccezionale per i clienti. Che si tratti di un aiuto con le modalità di viaggio, di orientamento per le strutture locali, o semplicemente di un accogliente saluto ogni volta che passo dal divano frontale, è evidente l’impegno di Vanessa di assicurarmi che io abbia un soggiorno memorabile e confortevole Devo anche congratularmi con Gihan, un membro straordinario della squadra di ristoranti, per il suo servizio eccezionale. Raccomando fortemente questo istituto a chiunque voglia avere una esperienza di ospite di alto livello. Grazie, Vanessa e Gihan, per il vostro eccezionale servizio e per il fatto che il mio soggiorno all'Ibis sia un'occasione memorabile. Sono ansioso di tornare in futuro e di sperimentare nuovamente la vostra ospitalità eccellente.

I specifically booked a night at the Sofitel Gatwick because it included 'Meet and Greet' parking with Maple Parking. Had they not included this I would have still stayed but made other arrangments for my car. I arrived at the Maple Parking Meet and Greet and parked the car. Took my keys over to the attendant and signed in. I then asked if they could give me 20 minutes to check in to the hotel, change clothes and bring a bag back to the car. We didnt want to bring a bag of unclean clothes on holiday with us. Here's where things went downhill faster than Gwynth Paltrow on ski's. The attendant, a tall bloke with a mid-european accent shouted at me 'No, do you know you are at an airport'. He actually shouted this. Shouted. To a customer. Take a minute to breathe that in. Fortunatly I knew I was at an airport, having driven 4 hours to get there. To hear that I was at an airport was no surprise, to be shouted at by a car park attendant was. I explained that I didnt want to take a case of unclean clothes on holiday with me. His response to that was 'we are extremly busy and your car will be removed immediately'. I asked if the hotel would hold the bag and he replied 'No they will not hold your stupid bag'. Here's where I should have murdered him with his Maple Meet and Greet Staff lanyard, but I did not. I asked for my keys back to be told once again in an truely agresive manner 'if you take your keys I will close the entry and you can't come back'. I took the keys and left. I then had to park at Gatawick Long stay for an additional £150. We finally checked into the hotel, explained the situation. The checkin lady (Alessia?) apologised and gave us two tokens for a free drink at the bar. They also kept our bag for us. Is this the fault of Sofitel Gatwick? I think it is. They decided to partner with a company that treats people appalingly. So they've got to accept responsibility for that. Please share this review, If I saw something like this I would have chose another car park or another hotel. Other people should be warned.

Mi piaceva la mia esperienza nel Bloc. Era così facile trovare e molto accogliente dopo un lungo viaggio in treno. Il personale era molto utile con le mie domande sulle cose semplici. Mi piacevano le bevande complementari nella sala di servizio, le belle toletta e il messaggio di benvenuto per me, e anche che la stanza era buia e tranquilla, che mi serviva per un lungo viaggio davanti a me. Mi piacevano gli sconti nelle negozi circostanti. Perfetto.

Il mio soggiorno all'hotel era molto piacevole. La stanza era un po' lontana dalla ricezione, ma la stanza stessa era molto bello. La palestra era più piccola di quanto si poteva aspettare. La cena era buona e il personale era molto amichevole e utile. Viene da me.

C'è un collegamento diretto con il Gatwick North Terminal, il che significa che non dobbiamo uscire al freddo nelle prime ore del mattino. Il personale era gentile e disponibile.

After reading the reviews I was slightly concerned, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. My room was rm 35 - comfy 4 poster bed. The bathroom was a retro orange, the water was hot. Tea/coffee/milk/biscuits, clean towels + toiletries provided. Rm 36 smelled of smoke + TV wasn't working so I had the better room but co-traveller said other than that it was fine, bed comfy and it was quiet. Some lights in the corridor didn't work - just used torch on phone. Fire escape was not locked but would prefer that than getting locked in a burning building. Other accommodation near was more than double the price per night (we paid £150 for 2 x ensuite doubles) - so content to enjoy, not perfection but the chance to stay in a querky listed building. Just check in early as online can double book rooms!
