The Park Hotel

We had a great stay in the park hotel, staff were lovely & very attentive. Nothing was a bother to them. Would highly recommend.

For those of you who like to take your pet dog on breaks please be aware , this accommodation sells itself as being dog friendly, it is NOT! I called the establishment prior to booking to make sure my pet dog would be allowed in bar area , I was told yes . What they fail to tell you is you can only take your dog into bar area if there are no other patrons sitting there and they will not serve you food if your dog is present. Furthermore they do not appear to like your dog being present at all and any time we passed reception we were glared at! My dog is very timid and quiet so they had nothing to be concerned about. The room was more to a homeless hostel standard with no wardrobe, tired decor and uncomfortable beds - for £117 per night , way over priced. The manager did agree to refunding us the 2nd night as we couldn't stay given they wouldn't allow our pet into bar area So we stayed at the Coylet Inn ( in a pod) and it was wonderful and very much pet friendly. The 1 positive about Park Hotel - the cooked breakfast was very good

My daughter and I stayed here for one night as we came to see a show in Dunoon. The hotel itself was a bit old fashioned and tired inside but it was very clean. Room was small but comfortable, only thing missing was a hairdryer. Staff were lovely and accommodating and you could see they worked really hard. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and fresh with loads of choices and served with a smile. The seated area outside was really nice and the views were outstanding. Defo would go back here.

Food is fantastic and very good value for money. We were a group of four and we all had lovely meals and breakfasts over 3 days. Hosts were very welcoming and seemed like genuinely nice people. Rooms were very comfortable and we would definitely stay again

Small hotel located beautifully close to the ocean at the southern part of Dunoon. Small rooms. No cleaning and refill and tidying of the rooms. Had to ask for cleaning and refill mid stay of my 6 day stay. Last day there was no toilet paper left. No breakfast or dinner service (out of season they said). But, I have to say, one of the best beds I've ever experienced in a hotel 👍 I give 2/5 stars, price taken into consideration.

Stayed here before and once again had a lovely time . When we arrived we recieved a freindly welcome by Adrianne. Breakfast is freshly made and delicious and meal at night was also delicious. Room was very clean with a great veiw thank you to Marriane and Claude for making us feel at home .We will definatly be back

not the best atmosphere very little interaction and all the floors and stairs creaked so much it was hard to move about quietly, it felt cold but was clean and tidy, it was a pleasant enough stay although i am not sure we would stay here again, also a little out the way but a nice enough walk to town

Friendly and welcome from Adrian who told us we had the best room in the hotel (26). Amazing room. Massive, tastefully decorated, comfy bed, spotless, and a jacuzzi in the bath. Breakfast was fantastic and the service perfect. I recommend this place without hesitation.

Staff lovely and food good but room really let it down. Booked a twin, was given room No.1 which should only be a single room. Very cramped and one bed pushed hard against the wall. Nothing like the photos on Trip Advisor or ***********. Very dated and dirty, wallpaper peeling off wall and previous guest’s false lashes left on the radiator! Radiator was filthy so who knows how long they’d been there. Only 1 double socket in the room so if you want to boil the kettle whilst charging your phone, you need to unplug the TV. Not a big issue but when coupled with the other things it was really disappointing. Spoiled what was supposed to be a nice little night away for my mum & I.
