A trinity is unique to Philadelphia but means a three-story house with a room on each floor.**Please make sure you are comfortable negotiating winding stairways.**The house is cozy and perfect for a single person or one or two couples.The house is small in scale but is outfitted with everything you need.The first floor includes a kitchen, living room, and dining area. Stairs to the basement lead to the washer and dryer. A small patio with chairs is located in the back.The second floor has a bedroom with a closet and a full bath. The hall closet is a supply closet and is locked.The third floor has a bedroom with a full-sized bed.Don't hesitate to get in touch with Heather about bringing your pet.Guest accessSaint David's Cottage is two blocks from Main Street in the heart of Manayunk, a Philadelphia neighborhood treasure.The easiest arrival is by train from 30th Street Station in Philadelphia on the Septa Norristown line. From the Manayunk station, it's a three-minute walk to the cottage.If you arrive by car, safely stop in the street and unload your bags at the door. There is free street parking and a free unpaved parking lot two blocks away.Pay close attention to posted parking signs and street stripes.Other things to noteThe stairs are the original, old-fashioned spiral stairs. While they are in excellent condition, they can be intimidating.Toting large suitcases up the stairs is not advised; travel light.Please be sure this is a good fit for you before booking the cottage.There are fireplaces on the first and second floors. They are both permanently closed and inoperable.Please do not attempt to build a fire in either location.The fireplace in the living room has an electric heater and fireplace. You are welcome to enjoy the electric fireplace unit.
