Courtyard Memphis Germantown

Was a little nervous because of past reviews but we had a wonderful experience. We checked in late and staff greeted us at the door. Room had been recently remodeled and was clean and comfortable. The couch is close to end of bed which is challenging for person sleeping on that side. Otherwise it was great!

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is dirty, rundown and the staff lies consistently. There are several hotels in Germantown that I have stayed at over the years and this is by far the worst. Our TV didn’t work our entire 4 night stay despite reporting it on night one. They advertised housekeeping every 3 days and on day 3 we requested it and they never showed. The shower also didn’t work properly. Water only came out through the ‘wand’ and not the overhead shower head. Again, this was reported and got no response. The icing on the cake is that this stay was paid for by points. The GM said he would give us a 30,000 point refund for all our problems and we have it in writing. He has only given us 10,000. Poorly built and dirty hotel, horrible service and a lying GM. Your money/points deserve better. If you are locked into Bonvoy, there is a full service Marriott very close by. I am shocked by this treatment. I was Ambassador level for many years until I retired. I have lifetime Titanium status with Marriott and still got this treatment. If this is how they treat their best customers, no one is safe from them. They are clearly prioritizing profit over customer experience. Most Marriotts know how to both simultaneously but this place fails miserably and the GM is an. ‘In your face’ liar.

The amenities provided, including well-equipped workstations, high-speed internet, and comfortable seating, were a significant advantage. The ease with which we could transition from work to leisure was impressive. Leaving our work materials in the dedicated space while enjoying a peaceful dinner was a thoughtful touch.

Absolutely fantastic! Impeccable cleanliness, stunning aesthetics, and a prime location. The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. Max, who tends the bar, is an absolute gem. To top it off, even past 10 PM, he went out of his way to light up the outdoor fire pit, allowing us to unwind after a tiring day. I couldn't recommend this place more, and our trip with friends felt like a whole new adventure.

I want to give a special shoutout to Courtyard Germantown for their outstanding support during a recent business trip. My family encountered a major emergency situation, and after being turned away by two other hotels, we finally found refuge at Courtyard Germantown thanks for warm accommodating reception. The entire team at this hotel is truly exceptional, and the property itself is stunning i was delighted by the manger assistance we appreciate it meant the world to us, and we can't thank you enough for going above and beyond during a challenging time.

This hotel was a mess! My room was never cleaned even after I asked the room to be sprayed for giant ants! They never sprayed the room or cleaned it. The cleaning staff seemed to be standing around but the floor in the hallway was never even vacuumed.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and accurate in the service they offered. The hotel itself is worn and dirty. The light fixture in the bathroom in my room was full of dead bugs. The closet doors were missing but the track for sliding closet doors were still there. The closet shelf was falling off the wall. The iron was rusted and I did not dare use it on a white dress shirt. I stay at a lot of Marriotts but apparently there is no minimum standard that has to be maintained within the Courtyard brand. This one was rough! I checked out early to find another place for my additional nights in the Memphis area.
