Hotel in zona Miradouro de Santo António dos Olivais, Coimbra

La grande stanza con un letto molto comodo, il colazione potrebbe essere delizioso.La stanza manca di pantaloncini.

L'hotel è standard ibis. Il personale è bello e parla inglese. Il bar è aperto 24 ore. Parcheggio è €8. Attualmente c'è costruzione presso la vista bloccata del fiume. Il personale è grande.... Ho lasciato la borsa nel bar, e hanno chiamato la stanza per dirmi e dire che la terranno alla ricezione, e hanno anche aiutato con la mappa e le raccomandazioni per i ristoranti.

Mi piaceva stare in questo posto, e tutti i dipendenti erano amici, efficienti e professionali per un paio di giorni molto piacevole. L'intera esperienza era rilassante dal check-in, il lavoro di carta è stato fatto mentre bevo la birra offerta, l'introduzione al mio ufficio dal ragazzo sul check-in al serata trascorso sulla terrazza - il mio bicchiere è stato tenuto sopra di te da camerieri che erano Avevo bisogno di un riempimento senza essere stanco o intruso, e mi piaceva il moderno ristorante italiano, il cibo era grande e il servizio era ancora una volta fantastico. Le camere erano molto interessanti, confortevoli e con aria condizionata che funzionavano molto bene (che dovrebbe essere dato in qualsiasi hotel ma spesso non è). L'hotel li chiama ”cubicle”, ma non credo che ciò li rende giustizia, sono belle, sotto terra, cabine in legno.

Hotel in catena molto di base - notate ci sono vecchie camere e nuove camere per l'hotel a Coimbra. Le foto elencate mostrano le nuove camere, ma ci sono state date la vecchia camera che era super datata. Neanche il telecomando remoto per la TV non funzionava. La nuova camera è stata richiesta e grazie a una stanza è disponibile per l'ispezione immediata. A quanto pare solo 5 su 90 stanze sono riqualificate? Solo il personale della reception può parlare inglese. La posizione è stata di circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro della città e 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria Coimbra-B via Uber.

My tour group stayed here and I loved it. This 100 plus year old hotel is quirky and interesting. It has old world charm with it's lack of modernity. Don't expect all the mod cons but go with an open mind. The hotel dates back to 1926 and has old fashioned furnishings and feels like a step back in time. Spacious rooms and an interesting history. Get the staff to tell you about hidden doorways and underground rooms...I won't spoil it but we found the hidden doorways! I wish they did tours of the place. Breakfast was standard for Europe- all the usual bits. Elevator is cool, as mentioned in other reviews. The hotel has historic pictures all around the place. Wifi works best in the lobby- hit and miss in the rooms, is not a strong signal. I could open stuff but not access websites! I really enjoyed this hotel and would so love to explore the 'hidden' bits, or read up on the history!! Would be good if the hotel had more info about the place to share.

This hotel has a really modern vibe which makes it contrast from the old city. I stayed as part of a tour group. The hotel is located near the river and within walking distance to restaurants. There were three issues with my room. The air conditioning controls did not allow you to change the temperature. The up-and-down arrows did nothing. Other members of my group had the same issue. It was too cold. If you left it on - it was very cold. I had to completely turn it off and so did others in my tour group. Also, my TV remote did not work. And lastly my safe would not work (no lights came on when buttons pressed). There was a very good hairdryer, and a make up mirror. Nice towels. The bed was comfy. The view was just of another building but it was quiet and I slept well. The room was clean. There was a refrigerator and coffeemaker in the room. I couldn’t find an indoor stairwell, so I always had to take the elevator. There is a small gym with weights and cardio. The outdoor pool was too cold during my visit. Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast had tremendous variety. For one or two nights, this hotel would be OK.

Questo è un hotel di arte letteraria, un vecchio principe portoghese che costruisce un amore per gli amanti.Più tardi, l'amante è stato oscuro*, il principe ha cambiato il nome di questa casa in un giardino di acqua dolce.Per ricompensa, il principe si è incontrato con il vecchio re. Finalmente il principe stesso divenne re, e ha tirato fuori il suo amante dal sottosuolo per tenere un matrimonio.Il nuovo film di animazione zombie è stato usato come materiale.Le strutture dell'hotel sono più vecchie, cioè guardare la storia e capire una bella storia.

Ho pensato che sarebbe stato bene nel centro, è un po' più lontano, ma uscirà bene a buon mercato da Uber o Bolt. Il pranzo da lì è molto buono. Camera con coppia con bagno, aria e TV. Vale la pena.

It is a travel in time. Literally. Building is a jewel, truly extraordinary, in good shape. Common areas are in good shape yet a bit dated and lack decent lightning. it’s shame Bedrooms though are less than a 3 stars. All is BAD except the linen; lack of furniture; no tv channels; terrible lightning; it’s unexplainable. Bathroom is spacious and from the 1970s but I liked it very much design wise. The attitude of staff is VERY weird, as if everyone knew something is wrong. We arrived in a rainy evening. The check In person was nice but seemed lost or that he had drunk too much. Unclear. We had dinner and breakfast there. The price of wines is a scandal. Absurd. Food was ok, also overpriced. The hotel is clearly understaffed in order to be kept afloat. They ask you to please book the breakfast time. Staff was okish, old fashioned, not kind, burned out perhaps but trying to do their work ok. There was a strange demeanor though— most specially someone that identified himself as ‘Barman’ and that seemed to be the head of some mafia. Really bad energy from him. The whole thing does not feel credible, even the descriptions of the group to which the hotel belongs sound infatuated. To sum up: Is a grand and old hotel that clearly needs to change hands, enter in a diferent attitude towards hosting, get into a new type of grandeur and life that honors the incredible building and location. Now, for €107 with breakfast, I highly recommend it! Have dinner somewhere else or there, take your wifi, enjoy the park, wake up in the middle of the forest etc. breakfast is 4*.
