Parked my car through valet. They asked if I needed my car for the next 2-3 hrs. Told them no. Got picked up by Uber a few hours later and while in the Uber car, we drove by my vehicle that was left parked in front of the hotel UNLOCKED! I hopped out, locked my car, then left in the Uber as we had dinner reservations to get to. I called the front desk repeatedly for over an hour as well as my friend calling and could not get a hold of someone. Finally someone picked up and they were able to transfer me to valet. They took my info down, said the valet manager would call me back. No call back from the valet manager over 2 hrs later, which required me to make another phone call to make sure my car was indeed parked securely in the hotel garage as was promised. This whole fiasco caused a lot of stress and pretty much ruined the first half of our night out. At checkout, I verified with the front desk that at least the $38 parking fee was comped and it was. No “I’m sorry” from the front, from the valet, anything. Other than this part of the experience, the room was nicely appointed and the concierge staff was friendly and helpful.
