My family and I (kids age 9 & 10) stayed here for three nights in an apartment with two rooms and we could not be happier with our stay. Every member of staff we spoke to was very friendly and super helpful and the rooms were very well equipped. The hotel is a short uber from the airport and you're only 5 minute walk from the metro for getting around the city. Our room looked onto the Benfica stadium which was a great vantage point to watch the fans celebrate a win while we were there. Our apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms with rainfall showers, toiletries for the kids, a kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, kettle, toaster, immersion blender, crockery, cutlery, pans and pots - as well as a nice sized dining table. The pool had a lovely atmosphere also - a nice mixed crowd age-wise. The breakfast was lovely - good selection and everything prepared to a really nice standard. During our last visits as a couple in Lisbon we have always stayed at the Corinthia but wanted something closer to the football/shops for the kids and we will definitely be returning here the next time we visit.

This is a rather elegant Pousada which is managed by the Pestana Hotel chain. Checking in at Reception was painless and swift. The staff generally were pleasant and friendly. Our bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the car park. We needed to keep the windows closed for security and the curtains closed for privacy. The bedroom was pleasantly furnished and in good condition. The bed was king size and very comfy. There was plenty of hanging space for clothing The size of the room left very little space to conveniently store suitcases. The room was equipped with a refrigerator but no mini bar. There was also a television which as far as I could tell only had Portuguese programs. I could not find any English language programs. This did not really a problem because I was staying at this hotel for a limited time and did not want to watch TV. The bathroom was en suite with both a bath and a shower. The bath was useless because it did not have a bath plug and the hotel staff were unable to find a bath plug for me. There was plenty of tepid warm water for washing. However you need to have patience to have hot water. Hot water took a lifetime before it reached our room Our bedroom must have been some distance from the boiler because other guests did not suffer the same problem. A lot of water was wasted while waiting for the hot water. This was not a good way to “Save the Planet” as instructed by a sign / notice on display in the bathroom from the hotel management. The plug in the wash hand basin did not work properly. As you will realise having a wash in this hotel was a bit of an ordeal. Buffet breakfast had lots to chose from with a choice hot and cold dishes. The Lounge bar is comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Apart from the lack of bath plugs, the hotel is in good condition and decorative order.

Wouldn’t stay there again. Booked a stay for 4 days on my birthday week. I have been in Ibis Hotels in Lisbon before, but not in Alfragide. To my disappointment, beds were so small you had to be careful not to fall at night, bathroom seems to be made of plastic and last but not least, there was a hotel refurbishment in process, which means loads of noise early morning, dust, strong smells aaaand our window view close by a white paper. When I address this last one to the reception I was told that it was “to our privacy”. One of the days I tried to open the window to have fresh air, due the strong smell inside the room, and there was no ventilation as there was a paper closing our whole window. Oh and not to mention that cleaning staff touches guests stuff inside the room, so be careful. Luckly our lugagge with valuables was locked. I really don’t mind sharing my candies with anyone, but I feel a bit of attitude to find a box of chocolate half open, and then only the paper of candies on top of the dusty table. If you take, not a problem at all, but at least take the paper with you. Breakfast was good at least. So, in my opinion, not the best place to spend your birthday week and not the best place to stay at all. Will def choose another hotel next time.

Le strutture e gli accessori sono stati molto date per un hotel di marchio globale. La posizione era gentile lontano dal centro della città, quindi è necessario andare a Uber/cabina. Non sarebbe possibile camminare. 10 minuti a piedi al metro più vicino. Il personale era amico, quindi è stato un punto più importante.L'equipaggio al concierge era amico, quindi siamo stati felici :) grazie per il buon soggiorno!

Il soggiorno all'hotel in generale è molto buono. La varietà di colazione è molto ricco. L'unico mancato è che il cameriere non è molto attivo. Ha bisogno di un ospite per trovarlo per bere acqua.

A very nice hotel at an affordable price. Although it seems far from the action it is actually located at a very convenient locale. Avoiding the city center traffic jams, offers fast access to and from the airport and it is within walking distance (10-15') from the Lisbon Zoo, the metro station and the train station. And if you do not like public transport, a taxi ramp is conveniently situated right outside the hotel's front door. The staff is really cheerful and professional and always eager to help and offer advise. The premises are clean and well kept and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable and affordable by the average traveler. We are a family of four and the hotel does not offer family rooms, however they did their best to secure that we get 2 adjacent rooms and provided room keys for everyone to come and go as they please. Overall a great experience and a highly recommended place to stay
