Clean linen, comfy mattress, and a kitchen with all the amenities and breakfast provided. Localy owned and operated it was nice to enjoy a stay with kiwi hospitality. I had a few hiccups - a rare error in booking my shuttle left me killing a couple of hours at the airport and my booking of a 4 bed dorm turned into a stay in a 6 bed... ... but on the upside it was a great locale, clean linen and comfy matresses, breakfast provisions were handy; spices and tea/coffee were available, and the staff were firendly and eager to help. Solid 4/5 from me. Was happy overall and I'm sure the few hiccups I encountered were rare and circumstantial.

We had the 2 bedroom unit for 4 nights. The bedrooms have no windows , just a small glassed area looking into the lounge. The heating was an old electric heater that smelled awful so we didn’t use it. The only window in the place (apart from the bathroom one) is by the kitchen . It doesn’t lock so just rattles in the wind all night . we had to buy cutlery as there were no forks and only one spoon. The bathroom is a tiny area , totally wet floor so when you had a shower the whole place got wet. When you used the toilet the floor was always a puddle. The walls were so thin that we could hear the neighbour speaking and snoring all night. Internet went fine but the TV reception was shocking , the sound cut out every third word so we were left playing a game each evening trying to fill in the blanks. Very noisy lads moved in next door on our final night and kept us awake until 4am, Great!! When we booked we read the good reviews and saw the lovely pictures. Sounded quirky but great - not our experience at all. This place is tired , noisy and cold. On the plus side..... Management were friendly and let us arrive early which was very nice , linen was clean, handy location, lovely second hand shop next door and a great cafe 2 doors away. Very close to a bus stop, Dunedin buses are awesome. if you are a student or used to living in a dorm, this might suit you.

Il Carisbrook Motel è situato in piena città in un edificio a due livelli, quello di fondo occupato da garage e locali tecnici come la lavanderia. Accoglienza simpatica da parte dei proprietari che si trovano in una piccola casa di fronte al motel. Grande appartamento di tre stanze, al primo piano, a piede piano sulla strada, separato da un piccolo giardino. È ampio soggiorno con un divano a due posti, una tavola bassa, una tavola quadrata, tre sedie e un letto per una persona. La prima camera dispone di un grande letto, due tavoli notturni e un supporto di valigia. La seconda ha due letti di una persona, una tavola notturna, una sedia e una grande pentola. La cucina è in una piccola stanza accanto al bagno. Elle est équipée d’un réfrigérateur, d’une cuisine et d’un four à micro-onde. Le matériel pour faire la cuisine est relativement complet ainsi que la vaisselle et les couverts pour quatre personnes. La salotto è piccolo ma i WC sono isolati con una porta, il che è raro in questo tipo di istituto e anche in hotel di un standing più alto come abbiamo constatato nelle 14 strutture che abbiamo visitato in Nuova Zelanda. Lavabo con due rubinetti. Doccia con maniglia fissa e sistema di regolazione complesso per avere la velocità e la temperatura desiderata. Porta porta portasciugacapelli riscaldante. C'era solo un radiatore elettrico di supplemento per riscaldare le tre monete, ma era sufficiente. Tenuto conto del prezzo (272 NZD in ottobre), della situazione e del livello di comfort, consigliamo questo motel.

This hotel is very self effacing. It says it is a 4 star but in fact it is better than that! Upon arrival we were welcomed and were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. The room was absolutely spotless and the the servicing of the room was faultless! The bar is pleasant and service second to none! The restaurant was special. The food was at a very high standard as was the service! We loved this hotel and will stay there whenever we are in Dunedin

E'in una buona posizione, così facile da camminare intorno alla città. Parcheggio è buono. Il posto era molto pulito. Purtroppo il letto era una regina e aveva visto giorni migliori. Molto incomodo se siamo onesti. Avremmo prenotato un letto extra grande, che ci aspettava di essere una grandezza re o due single uniti insieme. Forse avremmo dovuto chiedere un aggiornamento in vista di fronte. La stanza era buona, il duvet era bello e caldo, e la temperatura della stanza era buona. Era un po' rumoroso per la strada esterna e alcuni sono rumore, ma non è la colpa delle proprietà. La pressione dell'acqua nel bagno era fantastica, ma la doccia era piuttosto lama. In generale era appena sopra la media. Probabilmente siamo solo delusi perché abbiamo pagato soldi simili in un altro posto e questo non è stato quasi così buono.

L'hotel ha bisogno di pochi minuti a piedi per raggiungere il centro della città.In due ore, può completare l'edificio dello stile di Edimburgo in tutta la zona del centro.Ci sono due ristoranti cinesi vicino. Il servizio dell'hotel è anche in posizione, che può aiutare gli ospiti a prenotare alcuni progetti intorno a Ninth per guardare gli animali selvatici.

Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a small sterile room, but was impressed with the size. Good size table to work from, 2 comfy chairs and good sized bathroom. Good facitlities and good breakfast at the onsite restaurant. No Aircon, but here was a fan to cool the room down. Only downside was that the light in the bathroom was falling off the ceiling but that will be easily fixed. TV doesn't tilt so you have to be sitting on the bed to watch it, which was a pain. All else was good. Good onsite parking.

Stupida permanenza. Ci siamo trasferiti per 2 notti. Il personale era benvenuto e utile. L'unità di 2 camere era pulita, temperata, i proprietari hanno preso tempo per sbattere i balconi e pulire il cortile di rubino. Ci sono stati segni di attenzione per i dettagli, che avevano molte cose piccole, come molte uscite elettriche e posizioni di bagaglio, in ogni stanza.
