You get what you pay for. Basic hotel with minimum basic but clean facilities. Though they say Free WIFI but it is not available in the rooms (only available at the reception). At least they shouldn't misguide the guests. Their location is really plus as it is walking distance from the west gate of the temple. The food at the DEVI restaurant was surprisingly good - you can try it there.

We had a great time at Joe's Beach Shack and actually my second visit in the last three months for an extended three night stay. It had offbeat rooms constructed from shipping containers that were compact & comfortable with a quiet surroundings. It is within walking distance from Ariyaman beach & Pirpanvalasi beaches, where we attended a sea kayaking course. It was also a relaxing getaway compared to the hustle and bustle of Rameshwaram town. Srinivasan and his team of Velu, Saravanan & Ilyaraja attended to our needs promptly and warmly and indulged us with sumptuous sea food and South Indian vegetarian dishes. All in all, a home away from home, to explore Ramanad and Rameshwaram area.

GGaëlleEravamo (con mia figlia di 20 anni) a Rameshwaram per 1 o 2 notti. Ci è stato assegnato una camera da letto con 2 letti doppi. La letto era confortevole.
Ma è un peccato che la *** che si fa alla finestra, non si può volare senza far entrare i mosquiti (cioè sentono l'umidità al nostro arrivo), e la stanza rimane oscura.
Per prenotare una notte supplementare ho passato attraverso una prenotazione sul sito, altrimenti il personale mi ha offerto un prezzo superiore... del colpo ho avuto a priori su di loro. (Mentre forse era un problema di comunicazione)
Non mi ha mai offerto il suo aiuto, neanche io ho dovuto.
A parte il momento del check-out, si è offerto e mi ha dato informazioni sui treni e sui bus, era pronto a aiutarci. Ma avrei dovuto rivolgergli il *** della notte scorsa!
Quindi non esitate a dirgli che sarà un buon consiglio.

UUtente ospiteLa foto della stanza non è la stessa che si ottiene. Le camere erano leggermente impure. Tuttavia, fanno pulizia e cambiamento di letti ogni giorno, che è bello. Il servizio era buono ma non veloce. Per favore, si sieda al cancello di entrata e uscita della macchina, come dobbiamo scendere dalla macchina per sempre aprire e chiudere la porta.

UUtente ospiteHotel was just ok type. Early morning i called and asked for hot water and geyser. The *** advised me to on the switch ! next day on a warning he arranged for the hot water. It had no lift. We were given our 4 bed room on the 2nd floor. Construction work was going on. The manager didn't even bothered to ask us to adjust with the dust. Hey. He didn't even bothered to wish me when i came for the room. It was booked and the price was high for just 2 nights !

UUtente anonimoThe hotel allowed us for early check-in. The room was very spacious. It's located just a few steps away from the North gate of Swami Rameshwar temple. Since this hotel is too close to tample no need to take a locker for shoes and other prohibited items for the entry into the temple.
The washroom and the toilet were smelling badly. The room floor was not properly mopped.

UUtente ospiteA bad stay experience indeed ! We had booked at this hotel through GoIbibo for two nights. First impressions : the hotel is located a stone throw’s distance away from Agniteertham (where you take a dip in the calm ocean before you go for Darshan), the hotel is located in a narrow street where you shouldn’t go with your vehicle but they have a private parking located 100 metres before the hotel where you can go and park your vehicle. The hotel’s staff including the owner came across as decent people and room was fairly okay wherein the washroom could have been more clean for the price you pay per night compared to other properties in this area. The worst part however came later into the night as we were hoping to get a good night’s sleep after driving for over 12 hours to Rameswaram. There was a rowdy and extremely noisy group of people who checked in around 5 am in a room at the top floor as our room and made life hell with their chaotic behaviour that came straight out of a Fish Market scene. We contacted the Hotel Management including the owner to calm these urchins down but in reality the owner didn’t make any serious attempt to ensure that the noise levels came down and in the end left the matter to be settled between us and them. Later on instead of being regretful and trying to control this situation for the next night this particular group’s behaviour was being sort of justified by the owner that they had children and that’s why they were uncontrolled and blah blah…we had to drive next day for close to 12-15 hours and instead of wasting another night with the iditiotic chaos that was to follow, we decided to checkout a day early. You may have all the amenities of the World in a Hotel but if you can’t peacefully sleep at Night as that’s the bare minimum requirement when I look at a place to stay then everything else is useless to me. No refunds, we wasted our night and money, expected better response from management but they were not interested at all, please do think twice before staying here considering the aforementioned points, next time I am going to book a lodge as so many of them are located in the vicinity at 1/3rd of the price. The only reason I booked this property considering there will be some minimum set of standards maintained and basic rules enforced but alas it was a disappointing experience indeed.

UUtente ospiteThe rooms were a bit smaller than expected. We travel-led as a group of 8 people and the common issue we faced was the size of the room
the staff was extremely polite and helpful when we requested a local cab for dhanushkodi visit. We did not ultimately need their cab but they were extremely professional in getting on with our request in no time. The switchboards need some work. There is no food at the stay and they do-not object to getting food fro outside. The stay is just about 800 mtrs away walking distance from the temple and we had good darshan 2-3 times. The staff assist you with the luggage and are available for any assistance. Overall rating 3. 5/5
