Stayed on a Sunday night. Only one (very busy but very pleasant)staff member on duty, serving at the bar and checking in guests. Room clean but looking very tired, with damaged wallpaper and a cracked bath. Washbasin extremely slow to empty. Kettle in need of descaling. Door swollen, therefore very hard to open and close. No food available. Bar closed at 8pm.

The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided. We especially appreciated the warm cookies upon arrival, a nice touch that added to the welcoming atmosphere. While the decor may be somewhat dated, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. Overall, DoubleTree Hotel provided us with a satisfactory stay and good value for the price.”

The hotel is conveniently located just off the M4 in Swindon. We used it as a stop off while driving dueing the night. The hotel itself was very festively decorated with lots of Christmas decorations, which was great, ot felt very warm and welcoming. The 24 hour reception desk was one of the reasons we chose the hotel as we were arriving at midnight and the staff memver who checked us in was very professional and welcoming. The car park only had a few spaces left which worried us but we did get a space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was no heating in our room. There is no central heating so they have put in A/C/heater units on the walls. Our seemed to be broken as it blew out cold air for 30 minutes before we decided to turn it off. We had been travelling for 26 hours at that point and it was gone midnight so I didn't want to go back to the reception desk and risk having to change rooms when we were already so tired. So we layered up and went to bed with jumpers & socks. I asked for a portable heater the next morning at breakfast and they put one in within 5 minutes so that getting ready in the morning wasn't so cold. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the team. There is no heating in the bathroom either. It was a shame because everything else about the hotel was fine. The breakfast was good too. Perfect for a 1 night stop-over. However, I wouldn't recommend it for winter.

This hotel has got high standards on cleanliness and service consistently. On a bitterly cold weekend the room was warm throughout. In fact very comfortable bed and no need for extra blanket. 2 small issues. The pillows were a bit lumpy but fine and the restarant did not serve evening meals to our liking but overall outstanding !!! Cannot wait to return.

Bella posizione, in buona posizione se hai una macchina. buon servizio, buon personale. Non ho usato il loro colazione. Solo punti negativi, trovo il ristorante chiuso senza preavviso.
