Stayed overnight for a wedding, we were told by the bride ( who had sorted this with the place )that we could get early access to 1 of our rooms as we had little ones with us,went to reception and told no it's not on the system, when double checked with the bride we went back to reception to try again and still arguing that we hadn't , then got told the girl who sorted it had left their employment, took a while we managed to get a room sorted but arguing was a pain with tired kids. 2 bar staff for around 100 guest is not great, especially when 1 of them was just chatting away while the other bartender kept working, room was ok could do with sprucing up a bit as it looked tired ( especially for £200 per night at discounted wedding rate ). The next morning, we went for breakfast at 9.15am, which we sorted the day before when we checked in and had witnesses to we were told we missed our time as they said it was 8.15am. Again, arguing with us instead of admitting they were wrong and just sorting it, they had to be awkward for a bit. I would not recommend this place for the money you pay. P.s. The staff could do with smiling a bit more and look like they are enjoying their job instead of walking around looking miserable.

We stayed on Sunday 10th September in Delamere, one of the courtyard rooms and started with a perfect Roast Beef Lunch. Possible the best we’ve ever had. Our room was really comfortable and well-appointed. Whilst the bathroom was small, it was cleverly laid out and suited us well. Good lighting for makeup, which makes a refreshing change from most places we visit! Dinner was equally as good (although one constructive criticism would be that the there should be a better variety on the Cheese Board. However we’ve not reduced our 5 * rating because everything else was spot on). After a very comfortable sleep we thoroughly enjoyed a superb breakfast. Great choice, generous and delicious! We enjoyed The Pheasant Inn so much that we are planning to give vouchers to various family members as Christmas gifts and will definitely be back ourselves soon. Thanks for a great stay.

Ho avuto la più piacevole esperienza di cena nel vostro ristorante, grazie al servizio di tavola eccezionale di Connor! Dalla mia parte, mi ha salutato con un sorriso caldo e mi ha fatto sentire a casa. Per tutto il pasto, era attento, sapiente, e andò oltre e oltre per assicurare che le mie esigenze fossero soddisfatte; le sue raccomandazioni erano a posto, e mi sorprense persino con un dolce complimentato che era semplicemente divino! Il professionalismo e l'amicizia di Connor mi hanno davvero sollevato la serata. Non posso aspettare di tornare e godere del suo servizio impeccabile di nuovo. Kudos a Connor e tutto il personale per creare una memorabile esperienza di cena!
