Visita di una settimana a LANZAROTE. Bellissima isola. Soggiornato a La Casona de yaiza. Ottimo!!!!! Nel bellissimo (e molto tranquillo … forse troppo) paesino di Yaiza, questo hotel e’ ottimo ed inoltre con un ottimo ristorante!!! Giugno e un mese tranquillo per una visita. Esperienza da ripetere e hotel sicuramente consigliabile!

Stavo in una delle suite... mobili e decorazioni di lusso nella stanza e nel bagno...la stanza di roccia vulcanica era sorprendente...Fuori c'era una bella terrazza privata con tavoli e sedie, ma solo una camera molto vecchia e indossata. La colazione era deliziosa e abbondante, ma la mancanza di caffè e tè prima del servizio colazione era sorprendente, dato che non c'erano strutture nella stanza per fare nulla. C'è un bellissimo salone comunale e fuori tavoli e sedie, c'è un frigorifero comunale con un cesto per camera per i vostri beni personali, quindi in serata sarebbe stato perfetto sedere e avere cena e una bevanda, ma non ci sono occhiali, piastre, Cutlery per usare... erano tutti bloccati in tappeti fino al colazione !!!! Hilario è in una posizione così tranquilla, perfetta per esplorare l’isola, ma purtroppo manca in cose semplici e un contatto personale che sono sempre disponibili ovunque altro abbiamo soggiornato. Non abbiamo avuto contatto dai proprietari dopo la nostra arrivo. Dato che abbiamo pagato 117 euro per notte per 7 notti, ci sentiamo che la nostra esperienza non era quello che ci aspettavamo o valore per i soldi.

Un'indimenticabile esperienza in questa oasi che oltre alle belle piscine offre tranquillità, relax e coccole. Ambienti interni ed esterni tutti ben curati e puliti. Ho alloggiato in una bellissima camera con vista oceano fornita di un grande letto comodissimo. Colazione varia e di buona qualità. Tutto il personale disponibile, professionale e sempre molto cortese, in particolare la bella accoglienza di Paula della reception, lo staff della colazione, Victoria e Edurne, e la piacevole gentilezza di Agustin del piano bar. Molto bella anche la Spa e in 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il piccolo Porto Calero con negozi e ristoranti.

We had a very warm welcome from the reception staff and were lucky to find our room was ready when we arrived around 12ish.We had booked the prestige package and had a room on the 5th floor facing the sea. The room was very pleasant, spacious, light and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The hotel is beautiful. The iced bucket drink and gifts in our room when we returned around 6 were very nice. We immediately checked out the area finding 4 pools, 3 are more children oriented and the 4th is a larger pool further away from the restaurant and snack bars. This was definitely the quietest but there were still a few families using the pool. However, we also found as with previous reviews a serious lack of umbrellas but I also know that this is a situation that the management are working really hard to improve. Don’t worry about getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve sun beds, the hotel was full but there’s absolutely no problem finding any throughout the day especially around the adults pool. The groundskeepers in the morning impeccably keep the area clean and tidy. Breakfast and the evening meals were served in the main restaurant; as prestige guests, you could choose to sit inside in the designated seating area or in the smaller outside area. The lunch area is shared by all in the lower restaurant found by the pools. The food choice was very nice, always fresh and varied - they really did cater for everyone. At lunch, you help yourself to beer, sangria, wine and soft drinks or order other drinks at the bar. It would be nice to have an adults only prestige section but looking at the size of the area, I don’t think that will ever happen. The prestige package also came with a separate lounge and balcony which was well stocked with branded alcohol, coffee and snacks. Shame it didn’t have view as it was situated on the ground floor but it was still very nice. Unfortunately, the evening meal service for the first few days I can only describe as being very poor in the prestige area. We liked to have food around 9 which gave us until 10 to eat, nowhere near the time that service closed. Let me make it very clear, the following has nothing to do with the staff but unfortunately falls under bad management. On three occasions only one person was looking after the indoor/outdoor prestige area. Upon entering the outdoor area one evening, we were asked to eat indoors as there were no tables set. On that occasion we were insistent that we eat outside as that is a big tick for us when looking for a holiday. The stressed overworked waiter then made up a table for us clearing a used table. Another occasion we wanted to sit on the comfy corner tables but again none were set after previous use and the waitress refused to reset the table insisting we sit in another part of the outdoor area. I remind you it is not the staff’s fault but management really need to look at this judging by previous reviews which constantly repeat these concerns. One

I've just got back from a week all inclusive at this hotel and am struggling to find too many faults! I had quite an early flight so my room wasn't ready when I arrived but I was able to get changed in the toilets and leave my bags in the luggage room. I was very pleasantly surprised with the room - it had clearly been decorated recently as it looked very modern and was very clean throughout. Staying all inclusive, I had a junior suite which came with a separate living area as well as a fridge, a kettle and even a coffee machine. I think there was a freezer compartment but I couldn't get it open. All the self catering rooms are across the road (or through the tunnel). I'm vegetarian and wouldn't say there is a massive choice for us but there is certainly enough to get by, that said most of us tend to eat chips, pizza, bread rolls, rice and pasta anyway! The pizza at every lunch and dinner was definitely a welcome bonus, although I did notice once they put the Margherita pizza on the same serving plate as the meat pizza, which was disappointing as I couldn't have any that time, they should be separated. A special mention has to go to the breakfast, which I thought was fantastic with hash browns, muffins, donuts and that nice currant cake! There is a decent selection of drinks including the usual cocktails and San Miguel beer although I didn't feel the measures were particularly strong. It's an interesting system they have with the sunbeds - they are unlocked at around 10am. They do say you can't reserve sunbeds with your towel so I suppose they are only enforcing this rule. There isn't a great deal of space around the pool so I'd recommend getting there early to get your spot. However, I believe both pools are heated which is great to see. I wouldn't bother bringing your own towels as you can get one there for a 10 euro deposit payable to reception when you arrive - just make sure no rowdy French teenagers try to take it! Despite there not being much room there were always enough sunbeds for how busy it was at the time. The entertainment during both the day and night is fairly basic from what I saw but there did seem to be a kids club and there is a small park and a splash zone for children but it's not turned on all day. Sadly late check-out wasn't available on my last day but I was able to use the shower behind reception. Those with mobility issues (or who are unfit) may not like walking back up the hill from the *****. That said, the way I walked to the marina did include some quite steep parts! Fortunately, it's only a 5 minute walk to the SuperDino to get some crisps for the evening and you do pass some restaurants on the way. I would recommend not getting a transfer and instead getting the 161 bus to and from the airport - it's only 1.40 euro and runs every 30 mins during the week and every hour in the evening and on Saturdays - on Sundays or public holidas you may find the times don't work out as it only runs every two hours.
