Era ben situato per i siti della mia visita a Tenerife, un valore costoso per una notte e non poteva essere tre stelle, non l'ho visto come per dargli le stelle Molto di ritardo che ci ha risposto all'ingresso di ieri e scarse sapone da bagno, spero migliorano le strutture e non ha aria condizionata

Esternamente l’hotel è piuttosto semplice, ma sia gli spazi comuni che le camere sono ampi ed eleganti. La posizione rende il soggiorno indimenticabile. La nostra camera, ed anche il bagno, erano affacciati sulle Roques de Garcia. Avevamo un letto grande e comodo, un bollitore per the/tisane, due poltroncine e una sorta di anticamera con l’armadio. Bagno con 2 lavabi, vasca e bidet. Abbiamo scelto l’opzione mezza pensione, anche perché non ci sono altri ristoranti in zona aperti la sera. La cena è stata abbondante e raffinata. Unico appunto è che alcuni piatti hanno un sovraprezzo per i pensionanti, la segnalazione sul menu è poco visibile e la cameriera non ce l’ha fatto notare. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la colazione, forse chi non è abituato a mangiar molto, potrebbe farla nella caffetteria dell’albergo. L’hotel è dotato di piscina riscaldata e sauna, situate in un piccolo edificio adiacente. L’utilizzo è un po’ macchinoso e il personale della reception non aiuta più di tanto.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious with a separate bedroom. Kitchen has few utensils and pans and kettles so basic foods can be cooked. Balconies have two chairs and a table. Be aware that the balcony floor is very slippery when wet. Building D next to the road can be a bit noisy at times, trash truck beeping early in the morning etc. Hotel has a minimarket with mostly sandwiches, chocolate bars, beer and wine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, lots of fruit, bread and cereal but not much meat. Same goes with the dinner. Don't trust Google maps, there's no easy route to Puerto de la Cruz centrum. The area surrounding the hotel is steep hills to every direction. Sidewalks are narrow if they exist at all. Nearest grocery stores are closer to 10 minute walk away. Few restaurants are nearby. There is one hotel next to this one but otherwise the neighbourhood is fully inhabited by locals. We enjoyed our stay a lot though we found out that the only viable way to travel between the hotel and Puerto de la Cruz was taxi.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. For the price we paid, I would definitely go somewhere else. I booked a room for myself and two kids (16 and 11) on a booking platform that described the room as suitable for three people, with a maximum of two adults. I assumed it would be a double or twin room with an extra bed for a child. However, when we arrived to check-in in the evening, they told us they had no record of three guests, only two adults, and that we could not stay in the room we had selected. They gave us a bigger apartment and asked me to come to the front desk the next morning to resolve the situation. I must say that the gentleman at the front desk during the evening shift was sincerely apologetic and showed empathy. However, the front desk man in the morning was a completely different story. He was rude and arrogant, and I've never experienced such poor hospitality. He showed no acknowledgement of their incorrect advertisement. They claimed that the room we selected was only suitable for two adults, with a maximum of one two-year-old child. I took the time to search through several different platforms where this ”family-friendly” hotel was listed, and on all of them, it stated that children up to the age of 13 were free of charge. However, in our case, we were asked to pay extra for our 11-year-old, which amounted to a 50% increase in the original price. With poor English skills, the only argument they had was several times ”It's not my problem. You pay now or leave!” - without getting back any money for the rest of the nights, of course. In the end, we paid the price and were reimbursed by the booking platform afterward, although I'm quite certain it was the hotel's fault. Mistakes do happen, but the rudeness and poor attitude of the staff were unacceptable. I don't see the hotel as family-friendly, friendly, or even polite at all. As for the hotel itself, the amenities were quite old, as evidenced by the condition of the rooms, restaurant, and outdoors. The pool was literally colder than the ocean, and nobody could stay in it for more than five minutes. For the original price, I would say it's about average, but after the 50% increase we paid, the hotel is way below average, and I would rather find a better hotel in a better location. To top it off, when we were leaving breakfast, one lady working in the restaurant got hysterical about our 11-year-old taking an APPLE from the breakfast buffet - how silly and rude reaction, especially to a kid.

Can’t fault the Hotel it’s magnificent, rooms were very good , food was good but I am fussy about fatty meats etc so not the best to give a review but all in all there was always something to eat for even the pickiest customer, the lady on the grill making omelettes in the morning made our day she was always smiling and very attentive just such a lovely lady to start your day , pools were fabulous and there is an Adult only for peace and quiet , have to say though we did see a couple of young children there and nobody to tell the father they weren’t allowed so he ignored the signs , I would have given it five stars but , a couple of things could be improved, there is no minimart or shop to get basics like water etc but they do sell 500ml cans at €2.20 so not cheap, to be fair there is a daily minibus that takes you down the hill (except weekends) to the centre at a supermarket so that sort of compensates , otherwise you are isolated at the top of a big hill and being older I wouldn’t like to walk down never mind up , we had a Mountain View that was great view of Mount Teide but it’s also got a main motorway so the noise isn’t great , if I go back I would pick a sea view next time ,all in all a fabulous holiday with a couple of little tweaks it would be first class, definitely the best hotel I have stayed at in Tenerife
