I don't even know where to start this review. all ”no way”. the fact that this is a 4 star hotel is out of the question! booked a suite. the room size is tiny as usual standard in a 4 star hotel. the woman who cleans the rooms constantly pounded on the door and demanded that we leave, as she does not have time to wait for us to leave, as she needs to leave🤦♀️ as a result, the room was not cleaned even once in 3 days. the pool is small, it smells strange and there are 2 sun loungers😂😂😂 there is not a single soul in the pool area. the hotel is positioned as a gastronome. breakfast is generally some kind of horror, photos are attached. there is no choice at all. 3-4 plates of an incomprehensible dish and that's it! before that we stayed at the Blaumar hotel, did not like it very much, friends advised me to try this one - the Blaumar result was very good 😂😂😂. of the pros: reception staff respond quickly, ready to help, close to the embankment, convenient parking

As we arrived, everything looked perfect but next day, the weather changed a lot. We thought we won't going to have happy days but we had.The animation team at the hotel truly went above and beyond to keep us entertained, even when the weather wasn't cooperating! Their indoor shows were absolutely fantastic, featuring a variety of performances that kept us engaged and enthralled. Despite the rain outside, we never felt bored thanks to the hotel's talented animation team. The staff was very kind and always smiling, we planned go to Port Aventura but as I said before, it was rainy and we decided to not to go.

Questa è la mia visita 5th/6th a Santa Monica e se prenotiamo Salou, sceliamo sempre di rimanere qui. Ho soggiornato con amici e anche con mio marito. Fantastico sito e molto centrale, il cibo è sempre caldo e sempre qualcosa da mangiare con una scelta diversa. Le bevande sono fine e standard in vetro e plastica fuori! Il personale è sempre bello e amichevole e sempre utile con qualsiasi domanda o richiesta. Le camere sono pulite quotidianamente e sempre un alto standard! È un bel hotel familiare e il personale di intrattenimento sta sempre cercando il loro più duro. Un enorme grido a Charlie, perché è solo sorprendente e così divertente 😂 ha aggiunto un giorno che la guardia di sicurezza veramente ti prenderà!!!! Io consiglierei molto l'hotel e ritornerò assolutamente

Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, e il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, rispetto a molti altri hotel che si trovano a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. La nostra camera 6 era spaziosa per me, per mio marito, e per il figlio di 15 anni, e abbiamo una vista ben vista sulla piscina.L'hotel era pulito senza spot e la cena era abbondante con qualcosa per tutti. Non si tratta di un po'di tempo per arrivare alla fine della stagione, ma non ha fermato il divertimento cercando di incontrare le persone ogni sera.Non ci sono molti ospiti inglesi, ma non ci preoccupa comunque. I cuochi lavorano duro come il personale del bar.Se tornassimo a Salou, sarebbe tornato a questo hotel.L'ora del pranzo era alle 730, che è tardi per alcuni, ma ci ha adattato come voleva il sole il più a lungo possibile! Solo negativo avevamo avuto l'allarme antincendio che si è fermato la notte scorsa quando avevamo davvero bisogno di dormire!

Le Salou Beach est un bel hôtel 4 étoiles, proche de la plage et du centre très animé de Salou, avec d'innombrables restaurants et boutiques, et une très belle promenade dallée, ornée de grands arbres et de fleurs, qui longe la plage. L'hôtel est entièrement accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite et accepte les animaux, moyennant une petite somme (12€). Les chambres sont très agréables, avec une literie vraiment confortable, des rangements et une terrasse privée équipée d'une table et de chaises (il vaut mieux demander une chambre donnant sur la piscine, c'est plus calme). Un léger bémol pour la salle de bain où il n'y a pas de douche à l'italienne, ce qui n'est pas pratique pour un invalide. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, avec des produits très frais, variés et délicieux. Le personnel est charmant, l'accueil est très chaleureux. Une mention spéciale pour Roberto, le chef de rang du restaurant, qui est d'une gentillesse remarquable. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner en terrasse, avec notre dogue allemand, il faisait très beau. Le seul défaut de cet hôtel est qu'i ne dispose que d'un petit parking souterrain, payant. Mais il est très facile de trouver des places de parking proches de l'hôtel, en tout cas à la période où nous y étions (fin avril). L'hôtel est également très pratique pour ceux qui veulent faire le parc d'attraction PortAventura. En conclusion, nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel!

UUtente ospiteOur family visited Salou in August and stayed in 2 apartments in Ona Suites. The apartments were clean and functional . Housekeeping came in during week to change towels and general tidy. Pool was very clean with life guard on duty all day. You can rent sunbeds for a small charge , would be good if there were umbrellas to rent too (might be something to consider) . The reception staff especially Aya was friendly and professional . Arranged late check out for a small fee as our flight was evening time . Close to beach and all the shops and supermarkets. Great location , clean , friendly reception staff . Will definitely be back .

UUtente ospiteIl personale della reception era amichevole, ma soprattutto Bea, che era estremamente utile per le cose da andare e vedere mentre siamo qui, perché il tempo non era il migliore. Le camere erano molto belle, pulite e tedesche, con letti comodi, ma le mutande non erano così comode. La colazione era una buona scelta con la possibilità di ordinare anche una cucina fresca e il personale era amichevole e manteneva il posto a posto. Il bagno era un po' deluso, poiché ha solo una camera da vapore e una sauna e un jacuzzi per 8 persone, quindi abbiamo usato solo una volta e la sala da gioco non era disponibile durante la settimana a causa della conferenza. In generale, una buona visita a Salou, dove abbiamo visitato Cambrils, Tarragona, Reus e Sama Park in una stagione turistica. Sono sicuro che sarebbe un'avventura di Pasqua. Grazie alla Magnolia Team per il grande servizio generale.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed in a big family room on the top floor, very clean, with a large terrace.We had a halfboard meal plan, the breakfast was ok, but the dinner was avrreage, nothing special and every day the same food, but the food was ok, not great or worse.The disappointment is with staff from the restaurant wich it seems to me that they are watching you in a spy manner and for example if you want to take a fruit outside from the restaurant they won’t let you, and this happend with us, because of the kids..Also no drinks were included in the dinner, you have to pay even the still water😥. They have a lovely top roof pool, the they closed at 22.00 PM i think, and we couldn’t enjoy it during the day ,the roo top is not children friendly zone, and the children are not allowed.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed for 5 nights Half board at the Portaventura Hotel at end of July 2023. This was our first foreign holiday since 2019 but our 3rd trip to Salou and Portaventura World. Previously we'd stayed at the Caribe (lovely) and the El Paso (not so good). So good points: Hotel is nice, clean though is looking a little dated, eg corridors/carpets are a bit tatty. Rooms are nice though, we were staying 2 adults and 2 teenagers to a room and it was a little cramped. Excellent short transfer times from Reus airport. Hotel is virtually inside the park so very easy to gain access to Portaventura World, Ferrari land and the Caribe Water park. However, there are some serious negatives about this hotel and the park in general 1 - Queuing - get used to queueing! (and not just in the parks!). You have to book your meal slots for the week. you get about 40mins for breakfast and 1hr 15 for dinner. Breakfast queue wasn't too bad, but the dinner queue was something else. You queue to get in, then the way the buffet is organised means that there is essentially just one queue for the main course, why they don't have 2 or more separate serving counters is beyond me. The first few nights mid week were not too bad, but come the Friday and Saturday nights when presumably lots more guests arrived for the weekend, the queuing was atrocious. It could take 40 minutes just to get your main course. In fact on the Saturday evening (our last night) we had literally just sat down and the waitress delivered us a ”10 minute warning” to finish up as the next sitting was due in! 2 - There's not really a bar as such. We aren't big drinkers so this wasn't an issue in particular but one night we fancied a late drink and we had to go to the Hotel ”cafe”, and queue and choose from a limited selection of drinks, and they were fairly expensive. 3 - Drinks at dinner, it was pretty hit and miss whether a waitress would come and ask if you wanted a drink with dinner. Water is free though from the dispensers so we generally stuck to that. 4 - Drinking water in the hotel - whilst you can probably drink the tap water ok, most people prefer bottled, but it's nearly €4 to buy a litre within the hotel. We took a trip into town and bought some large 5l bottles for a couple of €. There is at least a fridge in the rooms to keep it cold. Salou and the nearest supermarket is about 18 minute walk, though around 25-30minutes to the beach area and the main part of the town. 5 - Rooms - whilst the rooms are pleasant, we had a ground floor room and it would have been nice to have had some sort of patio outside with maybe some chairs (we just had a patio door with a step down to the grass where you could access the pool). However I suppose this could have created additional noise from other guests sitting outside late so maybe that's why they don't. Generally the noise from other rooms wasn't too bad - compared to the El Paso we stayed at previously it was much better, we didn't really hear anyone in the roo

UUtente ospiteOttimo tutte le vacanze circondate, le camere erano belle e pulite e avevano una magica vista sul mare, la doccia era potente e l'aria con era bello avere a basso, le camere sono pulite ogni giorno a buon livello, il divertimento è stato molto buono le bevande sono state ragionevolmente prezzi, sono stati metà colazione e cena in strega non posso lamentarmi di tutto il cibo è stato molto buono e una vasta gamma di cose per le esigenze di tutti i miei apprezzerei questo più di un 3 stelle almeno un 4 ha una grande settimana e sicuramente ritorno il tempo è stato E' sorprendente anche che fosse un plus.

UUtente ospiteI'm usually quite fussy with cleanliness and although there were places for improvement the rooms was very pleasant and perfect for myself and 10 year old daughter. We were so pleased to have a double bed each. I desperately want to know which mattresses they use, I suffer with back problems but while at the hotel these were minimal, they were a lovely firm foam, surprisingly comfortable, I wish I'd taken a picture or looked at the brand! The plug on the bathroom sink was broken so the drain smell was a bit awful, I kept a soap filled sponge over it or it smelled eggy. There were hand soap, shower gel and shampoo provided, the hairdryer though small, worked well and the air conditioning was amazing, it cooled the room so well. The noise is a bit of an issue as mentioned in other reviews, the chairs and furniture dragging on the floors especially and even with the balcony door closed, it sounded like a window was slightly open. We both got a very good night's sleep though despite the noise because the entertainment finished by 11pm things settled around 12am. We stayed on the 5th floor over looking the pool. Food was awful for us on the first night, however breakfast there is something for everyone, and the following evening meals I myself found delicious. My daughter consumed a lot of chips bit she's a very fussy eater. She enjoyed the pasta most evenings and the desserts - especially the rice pudding, that is a stunning dish! The stew like dishes I throughly enjoyed. The Spa wasn't up to much and you have to buy a swimming cap to enter which isn't made very clear until you are told at €3 each. Best tips: queue for dinner at 6:45pm, there are very long queues some nights. Get to the pool reasonably early, the beds get taken quickly if they're in the sun. Use the stairs to come down and the lifts to go up if you can. The lifts can get very busy and while they didn't break down while we were there, they do feel like a bit of a death trap! They don't stop closing if you're in the way either. Location wise, this hotel is just fab. Its a 10 minute walk to portaventura and ferrari land, a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach and its far enough away from the main ***** to stay away from the noise. We went at the end of October so probably out of season so maybe this helped with the noise. Overall pleasant, comfortable and I would stay again.

UUtente ospiteLe do 5 stelle perché ci siamo sentiti molto ben accolta in hotel. Ci siamo ospitati in una camera familiare. Le letti sono molto grandi e comodi. Noi noleggiiamo il frigo per 2€/giorno e è il meglio che possiamo fare perché raffredda molto bene le bevande. D'altra parte, la terrazza con balcone è spaziosa, ampia e discreta ... E ha una vista attesa! (soprattutto dall'ultima pianta). Il tetto con il jacuzzi è un punteggio da aggiungere all'hotel. La posizione è ideale per le famiglie con bambini piccoli. E 'una zona tranquilla, vicino alla spiaggia e con molti ristoranti intorno a lei. Inoltre, ci è una farmacia molto vicino all'alloggio, diversi supermercati e locali commerciali. Lo stesso hotel ha un negozio, qualcosa che è molto confortevole se si vuole acquistare qualcosa da prendere nella stanza o prodotti igienici di ultima ora. L'unico punto negativo sarebbe la connessione Wi-Fi. Nel nostro caso, funzionava molto lentamente o non funzionava direttamente. Non era un problema molto grande, ma forse è qualcosa che potrebbe migliorare in futuro. Al contrario, il personale affascinante e i ricevitori molto amichevoli e servitivi. Ci rallegriamo molto dell'hotel soprattutto grazie a loro. Senza dubbio ripetiamo!!

UUtente ospiteHonestly can’t really fault this hotel. Start off with staff, all staff members were so polite, lovely and helpful. Everyone on the bar was lovely towards me and my partner and absolutely brilliant with the kids. Receptionist were polite and helpful if we didn’t understand something. They also helped by ordering taxis for us as we was struggling. The staff in the restaurant were brilliant, never waited more than two minutes before being asked what we wanted to drink. They were all so amazing and lovely with my baby too. Honestly lovely and amazing and friendly people. Mohan (sorry not sure how it’s spelt) was absolutely amazing! This man went above and beyond with entertainment for kids. My eldest two adored him to the point there was tears they was leaving him when coming home. He was honestly such a pleasure and lovely, genuine and kind person. He provided kids club in the morning, afternoon and did a mini disco every night. This man deserves a pay rise in my opinion and is 100% a reason I would definitely return here. Thank you. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every single day. The cleaning staff were so lovely. Unfortunately myself and the kids ended up poorly for two days and the kids had accidents. They were lovely and reassuring about it. Everywhere in the hotel was so clean and tidy. I saw countless times cleaners wandering about always doing something. The food, now the food wasn’t to my liking unfortunately but that’s just me. It’s a very seafood place. I am not a seafood person. There is “British” food but it’s cold and well personally that’s not me. There was always something though just not very often much. My partner however loved the food! Deserts were amazing. The food is repetitive but it’s buffet style so it’s to be expected. The pools aren’t quite as big as they look in the pictures but still all the same kids were extremely happy. The entertainment was on every night and most really enjoyable. Throughout the week there’s something different for all age groups. Honestly I would 100% come back again and I would recommend. Thank you for an amazing two weeks!

UUtente ospiteAbsolutely awful, would not recommend to anyone. Please listen to the reviews. Brown hair receptionist so so rude, when we checked in after waiting 2 hours for the reception to open we didn’t even get “ enjoy your stay” or even made to feel welcome . Tabacco and **** all over the sofa when we arrived to our room. Giving one toilet roll for the week and towels are hand towels and €2 for a big towel and €2 each for a roll of toilet roll. Please read the reviews before booking, the pool had cigarette buts in it and was not clean. The room has to be kept clean to get your €100 deposit back absolute joke. We were on a holiday to relax not to have to brush and mop the floors to get our money back which the cleaners should be there to do for us.
