Cute, charming property, however the service was HORRIBLE. The owner even screamed at me! We were a group of 12 people walking the Camino. The first person of my group arrived by herself, and they didn’t want to send her a taxi as it was promised on the reservation. They said that they don’t send taxis for just one passenger, and this client Sofia, had to wait two hours for her parents to join her, and then, the hotel sent the taxi. She was by herself two hours in a restaurant without knowing what to do. The booking company never informed us that in order to receive a taxi a minimum of guests was required. The waiter at the restaurant at dinner times was distracted, mixing orders, and trying to convince one of my clients that he can’t take a Martini and a glass of wine at the same time! One or the other! Who cares! If the client pays for both drinks, the waiter is nobody to be judging a client’s drinking behavior. One of the guests requested salt three times for French fries, with no results. He finally went to another table to ask other hotel guests for the salt they had in their table. And I can continue for hours describing the lack of professionalism in this place. We are all Spanish speaking, therefore no language barrier. The owner, as I said, he was very arrogant and uneducated. I was talking to him, standing by his table, while he was eating cheese and bread. He never stopped eating and/or invited me to the table, and/or standing so he can be talking to me at the same physical level (basic rules of education); I addressed the taxi situation in addition to the fact that they left my luggage into another client’s room, making this totally inappropriate for them and for me. Can you imagine if there was something missing from our suitcase? Who is responsible? Well, this man said that it was this client’s fault to “accept” these suitcases into their room. Unbelievable!! He was one of these persons “My way or the highway.” Rooms have no AC, no elevator, and no phones! I had one towel only for two guests, and when I was in the shower, I noticed it and there was no phone to call the receptionist. The shower gel dispenser was empty. The room was not clean. When I addressed these issues to the lady in the morning at checkout (I am suspicious that she was his wife) she just said “Vale” (Ok) No apologies, she was not surprised, and she mentioned that if I wanted another towel, I should have used my cellular. I replied that making an international phone call to request a towel was totally unthinkable. Last, we were “lucky” to have the owner driving us back to the Camino. He never opened us the door, or the trunk; never helped with our luggage; he was comfortable seated by the wheel all the time. And he drove us super-fast to intimidate us. Terrible! Stay away from this place.

Ubicato a pochi minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria e dal centro storico, offre una vasta gamma di confort di qualità. Il patio centrale gode di una gradevole illuminazione grazie al gran lucernario che lo corona, ed è contornato da numerose piante naturali che contribuiscono a creare un ambiente gradevole e rilassante; la medesima cosa si può notare tramite i due ascensori panoramici al servizio delle varie camere. La camera era ampia, arredata in modo moderno, pulita e ben tenuta. Il personale gentile e disponibile. Il buffet per la prima colazione abbastanza vario. E’ disponibile un parcheggio a pagamento. Prezzo nella media. Utilizzando il mio metro di valutazione ( da 1 min a 5 max): qualità 4,quantità ( riferita al buffet per la prima colazione) 4 , prezzo 4, servizio 4 , ambiente 5.

This hotel claims to be a 4 star but at best it would be 2-3 stars. One of the lifts is always out of action and the other one often does not stop at your floor despite calling the lift. Given the hotel has about 9 floors you cannot walk up or down the stairs. The wifi is abysmal. Had to pay €60 per night to upgrade to a junior suite from a twin room. No TV in the living area but only in the bedroom where you have to lie on the bed to watch TV. There are no amenities provided in the bathroom and there are no coffee or tea making facilities. We asked for a kettle and we’re told to go to the restaurant. Did not even have a bottle of water in the room. Some of the equipment in the Gym did not work. For a supposed 4 star hotel there wasn’t a single luggage stand for 2 persons. Breakfast is pretty ordinary with very weak coffee from the machines. Hardly any fresh vegetables or lettuce at breakfast. Do not assume it is a 4 star hotel.

Estuvimos alojados en un apartamento en la planta superior el pasado mes de diciembre y ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido últimamente. Apartamento luminoso, reformado, espacioso y totalmente equipado. Zona muy tranquila e ideal, se encuentra en la zona universitaria, fácil acceso y para encontrar aparcamiento por las noches. Si tuviera que poner una pega, sería la presión del agua caliente es débil. Personal muy amable y profesional, también agradecer a Ana y su compañero de recepción el trato tan amable y servicial que nos ofrecieron y la posibilidad de dejarnos guardar las maletas en el hotel el día del check-out, viene genial ya que muy cerca hay una parada de bus que te lleva al aeropuerto directamente. Para terminar me gustaría comentar, este punto es totalmente ajeno a la dirección o gestión de los apartamentos, y es la poca empatía que tienen algunos huéspedes cuando vuelven a altas horas de la madrugada por el descanso y derecho a dormir de los demás, y espero con este comentario poder concienciar un poco a futuros clientes, ya que normalmente leemos los comentarios y a todos nos gusta disfrutar en nuestras vacaciones, tanto de día como de noche. a very nice and cozy hotel Fall in love with it at first sight. The staff was very nice too. Introduced everything we need know for our few days' trip in Santiago. Only 10 to 15 mins away from Cathedral.
