The staff was very rude and unhelpful (except for the waitress at breakfast she was so kind.) They constantly seemed bothered by questions, and were often not at the front desk during the day most days we were here. At night, no one staffed the desk, and the hotel leaves keys unattended at the desk with guest names on them for pick up. As a female, this made me uneasy and seems like a safety concern. My last day there was a snow storm most of the town was shut down. But the staff wasn’t even at the desk to help get water/tea from the bar that is supposed to be open 8-16:00. They say they have a shuttle for guest but the first day they weren’t will to pick me up just before 14:00 since they stopped at 14:00, and going back my last day they were shuttling guest for the snow. They acted bothered when I asked them to assist me with booking a tax to the train station. rooms were OK but very small. Wouldn’t recommend staying here largely due to how unhelpful the staff was. You can find similar rates for much better service.

What a lovely hotel, we arrived at Zermatt station on Sunday 4 February, and was collected by Annett owner of the Hotel, in an electric buggy as Zermatt is car free. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the town centre, and is in a great location. On arrival at the hotel we were offered a glass of prosecco in the reception\ bar area. The lounge area is very cosy with a lovely open fire. Our room had an amazing view of the Matterhorn, we did book a Matterhorn view room in advance. The room had everything you require, and was lovely and comfy. The balcony had chairs with throws so you could sit and take in the view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was really nice with a large selection of hot and cold food, everything you could want. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. We would love to go back there again. So glad we chose this hotel as it made our stay in Zermatt perfect. We Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Zermatt, you will love it.

Close to the train station. Although I got an upgrade to a double room, it was small (the table in front of the bed takes a lot of space). The bathroom was big and clean but outdated. The balcony was nice but not really needed in winter. Everyone can enter the ski room and the individual locker cannot be locked. Perfect for thieves.

Everything was good at this hotel except the automatic lights sensor which has a very annoying sound throughout our stay. Other than this, all’s well when it comes to the location, wifi was stable, room design and scenic views from the balcony were as reflected on the website and not forgetting, the complimentary shuttle to train station. Thanks for the great service, strongly recommended.

Ho soggiornato al Backstage Boutique Hotel a luglio. Struttura di design con arredamento molto particolare, soprattutto il Cube loft, ampio e ben organizzato, e con un comodo balcone. Apprezzata la macchina della Nespresso in camera. Qualche piccolo dettaglio da sistemare, come la colazione in cui manca una parte dedicata a dolci, brioches, ecc…, la scelta dei cuscini (entrambi piumosi e troppo molli) e il letto, a mio parere con un materasso eccessivamente rigido. Molto carina la zona Spa, prettamente estiva in quanto tutta esterna alla struttura. Ma la forza della struttura è assolutamente nel personale, gentilissimo, sempre sorridente e pronto ad accogliere le richieste della clientela. Nel mio caso è stato organizzato il giro su Cervino e Monte Rosa in elicottero e prenotato i ristoranti richiesti. Tutto con grande professionalità e puntualità. Un plauso va soprattutto alla gentilissima Laura, alla reception, e Lisa, bartender al bar della Spa, che ha illustrato tutte le peculiarità dell’hotel, in parte chiuse d’estate, come la discoteca, il cinema, la galleria d’arte. Sicuramente d’inverno il divertimento è garantito. Da ritornarci.

Great hotel with great location , I will difinely come back again .

E'un po' lontano dalla stazione ferroviaria di Zhermat, specialmente dalla strada neve, rinunciando direttamente alla camminata per il bagagliaio all'hotel, perché non so da dove salire a metà della navigazione, e la gente che batte la stazione ferroviaria diretta va! Sembra che nessuno si fermi oltre le 7 di sera. È necessario contattare la posta per inviare la password per entrare da solo, ma contattare il servizio clienti di Trip.com può anche inviare la posta. La colazione è ancora buona!La stanza è in realtà generale!

In early May 2024, I spent 4 nights at Tradition Julen Zermatt, and I had an excellent experience! The accommodations were first rate with obvious care given to their guests' comfort and enjoyment. The staff at the front desk was more than helpful, and took the time to make sure each question was answered and every possible concern addressed. Additionally, the meals and service in the restaurant were outstanding. All staff members were personable and professional, especially Marco and Antonio whose attentiveness and humor added so much to my dining experience. Michelle (sp?) at the bar was a more than able conversationalist while serving me the best martinis in Zermatt. I'm sorry I don't have the names of numerous other staff members who added greatly to my stay. They all deserve a shout-out for their effort and attitude. I know where I will stay the next time I'm in Zermatt.

L'hotel si trova a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Zermatt.C'è un fermo di autobus fino alla stazione di cavo di Matterhorn Glacier Paradise a circa 4 minuti dall'hotel, molto conveniente. L'hotel ci ha offerto un aggiornamento gratuito durante il nostro soggiorno e la vista dal balcone è stata fantastica! La piscina e la sauna sembravano grandi ma non aveva la possibilità di provare. Molto consigliare questo hotel andare a Zermatt!
