Good hotel, walking distance to famous places so supper convenience

1. Service Nightmare: • Staff treated me horribly, laughing when I asked for taxi help due to my lack of Chinese. • Disrespectful, unhelpful, and rude attitude. They do not accept card payments, only wechat pay so if you don’t have a Chinese phone number and bank account you will be out of luck. This is not suitable for intentional business travelers. 2. Cleanliness Disaster: • Entire hotel is outdated and dirty. • Room cleaning is beyond subpar – it’s a disgrace. 3. Not for Business Travelers: • Front desk staff are arrogant, cold, and thoughtless. • Unsuitable for international guests doing business in the city. 4. Strong Warning: • Avoid this hotel at all costs. • If negative scores were an option, I’d choose that. 5. Elevator Nightmare: • Dangerous, slow and crowded elevators. • Waiting 30 to 40 minutes just to leave the hotel – a complete inconvenience. Caused me to miss a very important meeting with a supplier. Botton Meijin Hotel, you’ve managed to turn what should have been a straightforward trip into a complete disaster. Your outdated, disrespectful, and downright unsafe establishment has left me disgusted, disappointed and depleted.

Air conditioning not cooling and shower not stable (sudden hot or cold water every few seconds)

Location is near from the center, less than 15 mins walking to jiefangbei. The hotel is good with the price however without window can be a bit uncomfortable to me

Disappointing after seeing the pictures. The location is awesome, close to three subway lines and in walking distance to raffles city. Also lots of affordable food options around. The room itself was nothing exceptional, average sized. However, it was really dirty. There were huge stains on the carpet and I noticed a lot of dusts on surfaces. Adding to that, the smoke smell was almost unbearable. Also, there is construction currently ongoing, during the day the jackhammer noises get transmitted through the air vents and are quite loud. It takes ages to navigate tough the building during peak hours because the elevators are crowded and quite slow. The receptionists were nice, but couldn't speak English which is not necessarily a problem.

Great hotel suite - we had plenty of space to sprawl out and relax on our trip to Chongqing. Loved the location, though the elevator can take a long time.

The room is very spacious and I liked the interior, but everything is a little bit old. The carpet and the mirrors were not perfectly clean but the bathroom was spotless.

Hidden gem right in the center of Chongqing. Extremely affordable and excellent value for money. I’ve stayed on this hotel before and it will be my first choice whenever I am back. Service is fast and efficient, rooms are and smell clean, water pressure is good.

Location is good and room was big. The wifi was so weak that it was non existent

Hotel is in the near of the downtown, the room was big and well equipped, could be more clean, a lot of dirt under the bed The staff was not able to speak one word in English, for me a no go in an international hotel, so it was difficult to communicate

We got a deal on their king room and were so disappointed we already had to leave after 1 night! So so spacious, the most amazing bed, and awesome view. We wish we could have spent more time relaxing in there! Front desk was helpful (they let us check out late thankfully!), location is super ideal, lots of good food options just downstairs... you definitely won't find anything like this in this price range anywhere in downtown. If we are ever back in Chongqing we will book this hotel again for sure. Highly recommend!
