Overall a good stay. On the positive side, We found that our hotel room was maintained very clean! The facilities and grounds were just ok. The breakfast was excellent! The drinks at the hotel bar were not very good and during our stay we found it impossible to get chocolate ice cream… also a tip.. if you wish to find a sunbed at the pool then you shouldn’t hand in the towels and wake up early to go and reserve your place!!

Overall it was a nice hotel with a good pool and the food was tasty. We were bed and breakfast and decided to eat in the main restaurant (katoi) for one of the nights. On the large restaurant booking screens we saw there was an a la carte menu with lots of reasonably priced meals (circa €15) so planned to have this. When we turned up they said there was only the buffet available (€33) which was quite expensive, but we couldn’t go anywhere else in the hotel as it all needed pre booking. The staff had never heard of this menu. When we checked in with our toddler we were hoping there would be a cot in the room already. There wasn’t so we called for one, which we were told would be right there. An hour later nothing had turned up, so we rang again and were told it would be there after we returned from dinner. When we got back there was a bed being set up which was totally unsuitable. We had to ring again by which time it was ages after her bedtime.

It was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful room until our first night when we went in to the room and found a cockroach. Next morning we told them but they didn’t anything even they didn’t apologise. And the other negative is that the light in the room is not enough for doing a simple make up. I didn’t see any thing in the mirror. And was my first time ever I asked for the key for the refrigerator. Never happened to me in any hotel I went all this years.

Cosa è andato bene: le dimensioni della camera, la disponibilità e cortesia del personale, l'upgrade gratuito con camera vista mare. Cosa non è piaciuto: La struttura è evidentemente datata e sembra un condominio più che un hotel a 5 stelle. Le camere, l'esterno e alcuni ambienti comuni sono stati ristrutturati ma non è sufficiente per far vivere un'esperienza a 5 stelle. Sistema di aria condizionata molto rumoroso che ha reso difficile dormire serenamente. Il bagno in particolar modo è impresentabile. Dimensioni ridicole (in generale e rispetto alle dimensioni della stanza), rubinetti anni 80, vasca anni 80 estremamente scomoda con una doccia che non è centrata rispetto alla vasca stessa, quindi è necessario fare la doccia in diagonale. Ma la cosa più assurda è che sopra al lavandino, invece dello specchio come in tutti i bagni del mondo, c'è una finestra a vetri che da sulla camera dal letto... con il risultato che devi usare gli specchi in diagonale, decisamente scomodi. La colazione è industriale e di scarsa qualità, molto nordica e molto lontana da un 5 stelle. L'altra cosa assurda e anche ingannevole è che viene venduto con spiaggia e accesso al mare mentre non è assolutamente vero. L'hotel è sì di fronte al mare e ha uno spazio attrezzato su una scogliera, ma è alta e non consente l'accesso al mare, a meno che uno non sia uno scalatore. Indubbiamente il costo non è altissimo ma è comunque troppo alto rispetto agli hotel a 5 stelle della zona. Sconsigliato.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous but it’s down to one main thing - The Staff !!! they are simply incredible ! I read so many reviews prior to travelling but unless you witness it for yourself you won’t understand - we have been to many hotels in Paphos, but the staff at Azia are truly the best from the concierge guys to the reception staff especially Charlie, what a great person ! So friendly and welcoming every day - to our housekeeper Elena who kept our room spotless - such a beautiful lady and so humble in her work and proud of what she does, to ALL the ladies at breakfast all fabulous. We are on half board but tended to eat out and as there is no “beach” we went out all day so only dined in the buffet a couple of evenings. The food however was fantastic, the best breakfast buffet you will come across, fresh fruits, breads, cakes, cold cuts, hot dishes, everything you could want . The whole hotel including the buffet was so clean, smelt wonderful and never any spills, always kept clean and fresh - we hired a car as the hotel is in between Paphos harbour and Coral Bay so not walkable. It’s such a shame there is no beach , sea access or we would have stayed in the hotel during the day. We met some of the chefs as I can’t eat certain things and on the couple of nights we stayed in they cooked me fresh meals without the bell peppers which I can’t eat. We plan to return at the beginning of November as we had such a wonderful time and felt truly appreciated by all the Azia team - thank you so much for being so friendly, welcoming and caring towards us it really meant a lot!

An absolutely superb hotel- nothing was too much trouble! Amazing staff, gorgeous hotel and grounds in a stunning location! Lovely rooms, spa, pools and great food- could not ask for anything more! It’s awards are very well deserved! Our second visit and we will be back!

My Wife and I travelled to Cyprus this year to get married. Azia stunned us when we visited a few years ago and we couldn’t wait to book following warm welcoming from Paul and all the reception team. The staff are so friendly and make every effort to help from the minute you arrive. Charlie greeted us and made us feel right at home from start to end. And Joseph and Stelios went to extra lengths to help with our arrangements on the wedding day and were also helpful and friendly throughout. Thank you! Paul is a credit to Azia as concierge, he is part of the furniture he fits in so much, the place would be empty without him. The rooms were amazing! Just the luxury you want when you’re enjoying holidays. All the house keepers are very friendly too and will meet your needs whatever you need. Special thanks and gratitude to Elena!! She is a diamond and looked after us throughout our stay. Small issues in the bathroom with the shower door not closing fully creating a puddle of water. And having to bend your arm back for the loo roll. The food was exceptional. The variety of different cuisines and À la cart restaurants really made the stay extra special. Getting to dine and choose from a buffet makes this stay all the more enjoyable. Again, the staff are a credit to Azia. Especially Nino and Irina, they home a very special place in our hearts. They will look after you undoubtedly, as will the rest of the staff. Any hotel can be 5* if they try but it’s not the hotel that entices you to return. It’s the kind staff who work endless hours to make your holiday so special and care free and wait on you hand and foot. Azia’s staff are 5* and to keep this place thriving they should well and truly be rewarded and well paid. Azia has more facilities than you may need and offers a range for couples and adults only sections to the hotel. And also a family friendly environment without the chaos of too much noise and scream. As a gym lover, the gym could be bigger and better. But we can all want for more, this is just positive feedback to help develop further. However, the spa facilities and treatments are the icing on the cake for a luxury getaway. You must treat yourself. You will never tire for watching the sunset from your balcony like the views from Azia pool/ sea view rooms. WOW stunning. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would most definitely stay again!! We visited the Azia resort during the latter part of the school half term with our two sons, aged 5 and 1, and in-laws. We were pleasantly surprised that there was enough for our little ones without being overrun with kids - so the relaxation and chilled vibe was evident from this beautiful spa resort. From the moment we arrived, the friendliness from staff was evident, and honestly, the staff could not do enough for us! A huge shoutout to the restaurant staff who were nothing short of amazing, and a special thank you to Nino who showered our boys with love and attention every meal time and treated us like family rather than guests. The hotel, our room, restaurant and pool areas were kept spotlessly clean. The hotel has a creche (bookable), kids club and teens club - with daily activities on offer. We only used the kids club towards the end of the holiday - which if you asked my 5 year old - he'd have loved to have gone sooner. The reps at the hotel were great and our boys loved the mini disco (held in a separate room in the hotel) and shows offered a variety of entertainment- the acrobatics act was a firm favourite for us. Lovely outdoor seating areas in the bars and restaurants (with indoor areas too). The buffet restaurant offered amazing variety every night, and we booked the Italian and Asian - we actually did the Asian twice... watching the sunset whilst dining in such a beautiful place really made it a wonderful experience. If I had to express any negative, the only thing I can say is the service time in the bar area at night was slow most nights (20minite+ wait to recieve our drinks order - including soft drinks). There were some newer staff members towards to end of our stay, so hopefully this should improve. Overall, a beautiful hotel that is made even more special by the staff and one that we would not hesitate to return to!

Excellent hotel. Premium sea view room lovely. Food amazing in every restaurant. Fabulous entertainment. Pool area great bit of you are looking for easy direct access to a sandy beach - you won’t find that here. Too rocky to access directly. Very hot this year so be prepared for ultra heat in the height of Summer - still stifling at 10pm at night. Big shout outs to Carmen in Housekeeping and to Wioleta and Alex in the Bar/Restaurant areas. All 3 went above and beyond to provide great service. Some other staff a bit grumpy but maybe having an off day. All in all a lovely holiday.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday in this 5 star hotel. Our second here in 8 months. It was for my 65th birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop for my special occasion. Everything about this hotel is 5 star, the restaurants, the bars, the rooms, and especially the management and staff. After a hard day's celebrating my 65th I got a bit stressed that my special cake did not arrive as expected. I may have been a little rude but fully understand that slip ups can happen and how these are managed is paramount. Well the next day I was treated like a king. I got my cake and so many apologises that quite frankly I didn't totally deserve. I don't like to single out people for praise as there were so many people that made our stay amazing but a big thank you to Ildiko from guest relations who went all out to make sure we had the best holiday possible. As I say everyone we had contact with was amazing, I'm just not good at names.
