Wonderful castle with a gorgeous view of the vineyards. Stayed in one of the towers, plenty of room, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, possibly could use a few more choices. Have dinner there at least once as it was definitely a gourmet experience. Hotel staff was very helpful with suggestions, directions and general information. Very friendly. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area of Chateauneuf du Pape.

This is a newly renovated and truly beautiful hotel. There is not a blemish in any of the renovation work, the finishes are beautiful, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. It also has excellent showers, air conditioning, et cetera. Most importantly, the stuff is clearly aware they are managing important asset and are wonderful, more than meeting the expectations set by the hotel. My constructive criticism would lie outside the hotel- the town is beautiful but is significantly limited in terms of restaurant options; the menu of the comptoir bistro is exceedingly narrow to accommodate the different types of patrons that would like to enjoy la mere and chateauneuf du pape.
