This hotel does not have check in service after 6:00pm, which I have never encountered before.
The front desk person was rude, who did us not allow us to stay in the lobby after checking out.

This is our 2nd year staying at Olga's Fancy and we just love it! Candy & Eddie are great hosts! The property has great views, the rooms are clean and the vibe is very relaxed, in other words perfect for a vacation! We look forward to coming back again next year and seeing all of our little kitty friends!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful private hotel. The owner/ staff was great, we were close to local restaurants, and walking distance to downtown. We enjoyed the pool and having great conversations with Eddie’s wife. If you are considering this hotel … BOOK IT

Awesome owners, very sweet folks! There are a lot of steps to walk up, so may not be good for folks who can’t do steps. Rooms are nice and quiet. Water pressure a little low and air conditioner a little loud; small sewage smell. However, it is conveniently located in French Town, and only a mile walking distance from
Downtown shopping. I traveled alone and felt very safe. The folks on the island are super friendly! Food on the island is a bit pricey! But there was a McDonald’s close by.

Besides the annoying cats that always tried to get into your room from the front door and the balcony, this place was excellent if you’re looking for some rest and relaxation. if I come back to st Thomas, I would probably come back here!

Great view of the bay and a easy walk to the restaurants. The only issue we had were the cats and the roosters. The island has a ton of free ranging chickens and the roosters. The roosters never stop crowing. The cats are on the property and once they get to know you, they'll never stop meowing at you door.

It was my first time in St. Thomas and at Olga's Fancy, everything was great!
Candi and her husband were very friendly and accommodating.
I will be staying there again.

All the previous reviews were correct and true about this property except for the huge amount of stairs. I found that it wasn’t such a huge deal and typical for the landscape of the property. The property was quiet, safe and convenient and the owners were so kind and attentive to our needs. Eddie, one of the owners, gave us helpful information and advice about local restaurants, beaches and activities. He also served coffee and tea every morning and arranged taxi services for the outings that weren’t walkable. I’ll definitely stay here if I visit the island in the future.
