86 Cannon Charleston - Adults Only

So happy we chose 86 Cannon of all the hotels in Charleston! What makes this 10 room boutique hotel so special is the thoughtful, attentive staff, the lush palm tree lined courtyard & fountains, salt water pool & lounge chairs, cozy beds & luxurious garden suite (thank you for the upgrade), champagne toast, afternoon wine & cheese, & a curated list of places to dine (we enjoyed evening walks) and to visit. Each evening lanterns are lit along the paths & chocolates are placed on guest doors. A very special place!

We stayed for 4 nights on our way home from a month in Key West. We really enjoyed Charleston and 85 Cannon was a convenient walk to the center of town yet located in a developing neighborhood away from the traffic and city noise. The breakfasts were delightful and included quiche, homemade yogurt, very fresh berries, coffee, tea and hard boiled eggs and also an earthy bread for toast. There was also fresh juice in hand filled bottles for individual portions. A nice addition were national and local newspapers. We stayed in a garden suite which was very spacious and the bed was a wonderful luxury. Our room included a mini fridge and both a coffee maker and a hot water maker for tea. Bottled water was also provided. Hosts were very helpful either making reservations or recommendations for dining or activities. We read about 85 Cannon on Afar a great travel site focused on getting you closer to the less touristy side of a destination. The facility was spotless and very sanitary. We were very happy with our stay. No elevator, but there are first floor accommodations. We highly recommend 85 Cannon.

Selecting this lodging for our stay was the absolute best decision imaginable. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and FUN! Our room (one of the Garden Suites) was gorgeous and perfect - the bed and pillows were SO comfortable! Wine and cheese hour exceeded our expectations and was intimate, delicious, and so much fun with Evangaline as our hostess. The pool is the icing on this wonderful cake. It's intimate, stunning (zero edge/infinity), and perfectly temped. There is also a pool house right there with a restroom, drinks, sink, etc. We were walking distance from many of the best restaurants, and a very short Uber ride from all the rest. The owners have thought of everything and they hired the absolute best people to staff this epic "hotel". You will not regret staying here, I promise!! (I also forgot my phone charger upon checkout - they found it and are shipping it back to me. This place is truly so far beyond expectations on so many levels!)

I cannot begin to describe how much we loved 86 Cannon. This review could be a book long but I’ll keep it short. The staff (including the owner) were attentive and a pleasure to get to know. They genuinely wanted to know how your day was going and if they could do anything to make it better. The property was a dream. I caught myself multiple times just in awe. The plunge pool was a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring Charleston. I would recommend 86 Cannon over and over again.

The best luxury boutique hotel! My husband and I have stayed for a week in July the last 2 years for honeymoon/anniversary. The staff is amazing and all the rooms are beautiful. The complimentary wine and cheese everyday is so good and the pool is great! It truly is the best place to stay in Charleston!! It is in a great location and close to so many things and restaurants. Most of the time you feel like you have the hotel to yourself due to the small amount of rooms, which we love! Everyone is so friendly! You can’t go wrong staying at 86 Canon!

We had such a great stay! All the staff was very friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed breakfast and the wine and cheese happy hour every day! We stayed in the Garden Suites, and our room was so spacious. Absolutely recommend 86 Cannon!
