Actually we are not stay at the La Croix Blanche but Alpina Electric Hotel, this is due to La Croix Blanche due to low season, but with their arrangement, we managed to stay at Alpina Electric Hotel, which is very good stay. Thanks for the such good arrangement.

Hotel non solo vecchio, ma fatiscente: crepe nei muri, bagno con piastrelle rotte e nella doccia presenza di muffa, parquet rumoroso tanto che se camminavano nella stanza accanto vibrava la ns stanza. Pulizia inesistente, impronte sulle maniglie e moquette macchiata. Wi-fi non pervenuto e televisione non satellitare come dichiarato. Unica cosa positiva la posizione, ma non vale il prezzo corrisposto.

L’hotel si trova nella via principale di Chamonix, comodo quindi al centro con ristoranti e negozi. Rapporto Qualità prezzo buona. Camere basiche ma pulite. Abbiamo avuto un disguido con la prenotazione delle qc terme, in quanto e stata effettuata nella data sbagliata (CONTROLLATE SEMPRE LA CONFERMA, cosa che io non ho fatto) ma ci hanno offerto uno sconto sostanzioso per scusarsi dell’accaduto. L’hotel ha un bar/ristorante che non abbiamo provato. Abbiamo scelto di andare a Chamonix per le qc terme ma è bene sapere che offrono la cena fino alle 20 quindi se prenotate l’ingresso alle 19 o mangiate subito o una volta usciti non troverete molta possibilità. Colazione buona!

Had a lovely stay here! Was only staying 1 night while waiting for our apar**ent to be ready. Upon arrival the lady at check in greeted me by name and was super kind and pleasant. She took time to chat away as we had some things in common with her having family who lived near my home town. She also gave us some free water bottles and took the time to draw out some routes on a map to help us find our way around. I wish I had caught her name. Room was fresh and clean as you’d expect and check in/out was a smooth process. They kindly let us store luggage at the hotel for the day and everyone had a friendly face. Would definitely return!!

Another great stay. Rooms are basic, staff are friendly, breakfast is excellent, location couldnt be better. Top tip, use the free ski bus passes the hotel give you to use the train for free rather than the ski bus. The train is far more comfortable, less busy, and quicker. The train leaves chamonix Station, which is a straight and flat 350m walk from the hotel at 0828, 0928 and 1028, continuing on the hour. For Le Tour get off at Vallorcine and take the gondola up the mountain, 2 min walk. The train returns from here at 10 past the hour. For Argentiere it's a 400m easy walk to the grand montets lift from the station. For flegere and brevent get off at la praz, it's 150m from the station to the flegere lift. We've been to chamonix many times but never used the train, it's massively improved our trip. Game changer.

i had a beautiful view of mont blanc(?) from my room/balcony. there was rain during my entire visit so my original plans of hiking had to be cancelled, however the kind concierge gave me plenty of activity options. the hotel provided a complimentary transit pass for the chamonix bus which came to be very convenient. i had wonderful stay. thank you to all staff at the croix blanche!

Great hotel for the couple of nights before our **B hike. Good location in central Chamonix, close to pedestrian area and restaurants. Short walk from the bus station. The only thing that annoyed me was that even though I had completed their pre arrival survey and told them we would be arriving by noon after a red eye transatlantic flight, we could not check in until 3pm - they actually told us our room was one of the last to be cleaned and ready.
