Český Krumlov: hotel con bar

Ottimo soggiorno in Hotel Oldinn, la posizione perfetta, la cortesia nella reception è più che adorabile, la camera vista sulla piazza eccellente, eccellente colazione, la progettazione e l'ambiente delle camere è molto buono davvero più che molto conformemente all'attenzione e al luogo.

All My wife and I stayed here for three nights in mid-September, ‘22. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it highly. It is a classic old hotel set right on the river, just across from the picturesque castle. One of the town bridges is just in front of the hotel, and the street leads to the castle in one direction and to the main part of the old town in the other. We found the location to be very convenient. A short distance away is another bridge with a walkway that leads to one of the town parking areas. It would be possible to reach the hotel with a small amount of luggage, but we opted to park and walk to the hotel before obtaining a town pass to drive to the front of the hotel with our luggage. If you then choose one of the hotel’s private parking options, which we did, someone from the hotel will guide you in another vehicle to your parking area and bring you back to the hotel. Be aware that even with a town pass you can’t drive in town from 10 am to 3 pm, which can complicate departure as well as arrival. We arranged for a taxi to pick us up with our luggage and take us to our car when we checked out to get around this. Our room (401) was on the corner of the top floor and likely an upgrade from our castle-view room. It was a very large suite with a bedroom area, a sitting area, a separate room with closet and storage area, and a huge tiled-bathroom with an enclosed alcove for the toilet. We had terrific views of the town, the river, and the castle from every room. The sleeping area had a comfortable king bed, a desk, sofa, tv cabinet, small round table with two chairs, nicely decorated a classical style. There was a single cup coffee maker that was very good. The closet wqs large, but had only and few hangers and the safe wasn’t operable. The bathroom had a pedestal sink with adequate counter space, and a shower/tub combo. Our only complaint about the room was that there were no heat controls and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. Breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of fruit, cereals, baked goods, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. All in all, we highly recommend the Dvorak for comfort, location, and character.

Hotel Grand is a lovely hotel with a fantastic location right in the main square of the town. All sights of Cesky Krumlov are within a very short distance from the hotel. Staying over at the hotel enabled us to see the town in the peace and quiet of the morning before the day trippers arrive. The hotel serves excellent breakfast. The staff overall is very nice. Overall a great stay in one of the prettiest towns in the world.

Questo hotel recentemente ristrutturato ha bellissime camere comuni. La nostra camera per 3 notti, 111, era sandwich tra due suite davvero belle. La stanza era buona con mobili in legno pesante. La finestra era alzata al muro così incapace di aprire. Il bagno è ultra moderno, ma abbiamo solo un bagno profondo con una testa doccia a mano. L'acqua è andata ovunque, non c'era giardino o schermo. Il pavimento del bagno e la tovagliola erano riscaldate. Le suite hanno avuto servizio di caffè, ma la nostra camera doppia non aveva niente. Abbiamo chiesto il nostro guida per un caldo e un tacchino di tè che abbiamo ricevuto, ma la casa non ha mai portato più dopo la prima notte. C’era un radiatore vicino al letto, ma abbiamo trovato la stanza calda. Fortunatamente abbiamo avuto un fan portatile da usare. La zona di colazione è molto piccola con opzioni limitate. La macchina del caffè è fatta solo espresso o cappuccino. La posizione è conveniente per esplorare la città. Se hai una scelta quando prenota, vai a una delle suite.

We stayed here for 1 night in September 2023. Room 208 is a very big room with a king size bed, a table and 2 chairs. The room has lots of old character, with hardwood floors and ceiling. The view is of a river and a park, not a castle view. Staff spoke English and was very friendly at check in and throughout our stay. The bathroom has a tub with a shower wand. The tub is thin with tall sides and hard for me to get in and out of. The towels are thin. There is very limited space for toiletries in the bathroom. Robes and slippers are available for use. No USB” plugs are in the room. There are electrical outlets, but not in ideal locations. The walls are thin as I could hear noises in the hall and other rooms. I really liked the artwork on the walls and the furnishings in the common areas of this property. The breakfast was mediocre. We went downstairs to find the breakfast room packed with a large tour group and the food was picked over. They had started breakfast early for this large group and had modified the buffet for the diet of this group. I would have liked some notice from the hotel about the large group and their early breakfast time, so that we could have come down later. While this is a nice property, it is one of the few that can accommodate the few large groups that overnight stay in this beautiful small town. If we ever return to Cesky Krumlov, I would stay at a small hotel or pension to avoid the large groups.

Meglio Si trova nel centro della città, ci sono molti ristoranti intorno a lui. Letto e scarpe sono molto pulite Il reception è molto amichevole. The hotel offers check-in at 2:00 pm, which is earlier than the typical 3:00 check-in. However, most hotels will allow for early check-in if the room is ready and available. We arrived for check-in at 1:15pm, only 45 minutes early. The front desk person told us check-in was not until 2:00 and did not even bother to see if our room was ready. When we asked about leaving our luggage, we were directed to just leave it by the wall. The attitude of the front desk person left a bad taste. We went to lunch, came back an hour later and was able to check-in. When we went to our room and got off the elevator, the hallway lights were all off. Once the elevator door closed, it was very dark until we used the light on our cellphones to find our room. This could be dangerous, wandering around in the dark in a new place. We let the front desk know and they did remedy the situation, but after we had to inform her twice. The room itself was spacious as well as the bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub and a handheld shower head. However, there is no curtain or door to prevent water from splashing everywhere if you try to stand up and take a shower. The holder for the handpiece was also low so you had to hold the hand piece up high if you wanted to shower. This is very inconvenient, especially for washing and rinsing hair. The bathrooms seem like they have been updated recently but they did not think about making it easy to shower, despite the bathroom size being double the typically hotel bathroom for Europe. Everything seemed newer but cheap. The curtains for the windows do not block out light. The carpet was thin and hard. The wi-fi in the room we were in had low signal but was better if we were by the door to the room. Make sure to request a room on a higher floor, we were on the 2nd floor and it seemed easy for people to look into the windows into the room. Breakfast is included and the breakfast is overall good. In the end, I expected more from a 4 star hotel. I will likely look for another place to stay if I return to Cesky Krumlov.

The staff is amaizing,the accommodation is great.The rooms had plenty of space and the bed was nice,clean and comfortable,the breakfast was great.We stayed one night and it was amaizing.The prices are affordable.
