Le Couvent des Minimes Hotel & Spa

The Provence is one of my favorite places specially in lavender season , I have stayed in this hotel few years ago and was an amazing experience then it was closed for renovations , this July I stayed at the hotel in its new look , it was and it is now the best , the architecture and the interior design are beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the service and hospitality are beyond perfection, I highly recommend it

The hotel is a wonderful conversion of the ancient convent. It is clear that mountains of money, but also tons of taste, were expended in achieving it. The result is sublime: like living in a beautiful château, except comfortable. As for the spa, it is superb, the best we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a few). It would impress a Roman emperor (if there were more slaves). We didn’t benefit from the huge outdoor pool or the terraces, since we were there in winter, but they would be a delight in warm weather. Someone has done a terrific job in assembling and training a rather young staff of charming and intelligent people. From the parking attendants to the receptionists, and from the waiters and waitresses to the exceptional sommelière (Ms. Pauline), there wasn't a one that we wouldn’t happily adopt and take home with us. The buffet breakfast: simply the best (really). The hotel has its own full-time boulanger, as well as a pastry chef. Okay, full disclosure: the coffee could be better. There is (of course) a gourmet restaurant (we can all imagine what that’s like), as well as a “bistro" on the premises. (Fortunately, since the local village doesn’t offer much at all.) The bistro serves mainly fanciful haute cuisine; we would have preferred that it be more authentically bistro-like, with some classic bistro-type food (steaks, daubes, foie gras, magret, confit de canard…yes, maybe even french fries!). It goes to show: even paradise can stand to be tweaked a bit.

Terrible experience. Heavy construction underway. Fire doors slamming indiscriminately causing personal injury. Booked rooms not available. Bullying manager. Extremely overpriced for an unfinished hotel.

It’s very remote but a beautiful place and a wonderful stay.

Love this place so much I stayed twice in one week. Simply the best. Such a peaceful a**osphere and wonderful staff.

Endroit magnifique ! Une harve de paix ! L'hôtel est une beauté incroyable ! Une construction woooowwww et a rajouter aussi tous les détails dans chaque coin avec beaucoup de goût partout .... ...on découvre chaque jour autre chose ! Même chose pour les chambres. A ne pas oublier la cuisine ; Nous avons super bien mangé ! Une Cuisine raffinée ! Le manager et sa femme très présent et proches des clients. On est triste de partir mais on sait que nous allons revenir.... Bravo à Fabien et son équipe et à très vite

Très belle maison avec un personnel attentionné et professionnel..le restaurant est vraiment excellent (Chef M.O.F) et là aussi le personnel est très gentil et efficace..nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir et bonheur..Jm & S BOUET

Un séjour formidable avec un personnel bienveillant et aux petits soins. La rénovation de ce couvent est exceptionnelle, tout est de très grande qualité, aucune faute de goût. Un havre de paix à découvrir absolument.

Notre séjour au Couvent des Minimes fut parfait. Nous avons vécue une expérience qui marie histoire, charme et sérénité. L'architecture élégante et les jardins bien entretenus invitent à la contemplation, tandis que le service attentionné et chaleureux ajoute une touche de convivialité. Le petit déjeuner propose une sélection généreuse de produits frais. Quant au restaurant Bistronomique, la cuisine y est raffinée, réconfortante et pleine de saveurs ! ( pâte de la tarte au citron faite avec l’huile d’olive de la région, délicieusement surprenant ! ) Je le conseille aux voyageurs en quête d'authenticité et de beauté intemporelle.
