The location was quite accessible and easy to find. The staff are very friendly and nice. The only downside is the room, which is a studio type. It is quite dark, and the appliances are old. However, as I'm staying here for 10 days, for it’s fine.

I love this hotel, very excellent location, located at the heart of Cebu City, just steps away from Fuente Osmena Circle, Robinsons Malls and the restaurants are also a few steps away. Public transportation is an easy catch as well.
I love this hotel. I had the best seat and view when I had my breakfast at the restaurant there.

The location is very strategic and easy to find. From the hotel you can go arround the town conveniently. You can find a lot resto and fast food chains outside so less hassle. The downside with our experience was that the room wasn’t spacious enough because we had 2 luggages and we were opening it the whole time. We stayed for 2 nights. Although if we didn't have a lot things with us, that should be fine. Another was that of the shower, the running water wasn’t so convenient. It took a little bit long for us to get our shower done.
Hospitable staff though!
In the picture, we really had a lot of things going on. We sorted out some goods to give to our relatives who were in cebu and we just had arrive at this time. 🤣

La stanza che abbiamo trovato era una stanza a chiave con vetro chiaro, che permetteva alle persone dall’esterno dell’edificio di vedere all’interno completamente durante la serata, il che potrebbe portare a una mancanza di privacy, ma la stanza è dotata di una cassaforte per le proprie proprietà.
Il personale di accoglienza e la custodia erano amichevole e molto utile, che era un'accentuazione che ha reso il nostro soggiorno caldo e confortevole. Tuttavia, il servizio di colazione ha bisogno di miglioramento. La preparazione dei piatti a un tempo ha causato un buco durante le ore di picco. Abbiamo aspettato il colazione per oltre 45 minuti e, in ultima analisi, non abbiamo potuto mangiare perché il cibo non era ancora pronto. The services offered were good, staffs were responsive enough to my queries and they allowed me to have an early checked in. Although the room was clean enough you can still notice that its old. At first you can smell something off with the rooms but then when i checked the map the area of the hotel was located nearby a river or perhaps a sewage causing the area to smell bad. Overall i just stayed there for 1 night and went to my next destination, i slept well with good breafast in bed in the morning. Good enough for the money you paid.

Stayed in a very dark room. Inadequate lighting. Then at night the light from the hallway would shine into the room, headboard is positioned right under window so light would be in direct vision making it very difficult to sleep as someone who likes pitch dark at night. The best thing about it was the location.

Very well maintained room. Appreciated the complimentary snacks. Haven’t tried any amenities as we go to work and just rest after. The buffet and cocktails were so good, I thought I gained after our 5 days stay.

UUtente anonimoWe booked two rooms and we were only able to get one room when we checked in and the other room an hour and a half after! We followed up multiple times and complained about how the room wasn’t ready when it’s already the check-in time. They told us that the staff was already on the way up to bring the key card for the other room yet it took a long time (given the fact that the rooms were just at the second floor, above the lobby) when we followed up for the third time, we were told that the card was being brought from the main wing that’s why it’s taking so long like? we literally got the key card from our first room on the front desk lobby below our floor (ocean wing). They are also very strict about the room capacity that you have to pay 3k plus to pay for an extra person unlike other four-five star hotels. The room was also dusty, my boyfriend kept sneezing non-stop when we went in the room and had to take anti-histamine. Facilities were great though.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed at this hotel after visiting the Radisson and Quest Hotel and were quite pleased with our experience. The location is excellent, with a skywalk directly connecting to the mall. The lifts by your rooms also go down to the car park, which has a grocery store as part of the mall—a great convenience if you're staying in a suite with a stove and fridge, you can take your groceries directly to your room from the lift access skipping reception. We cooked a few meals during our stay, and it worked out really well.
Check-in was efficient, though we were informed that formal attire was required for breakfast—long sleeves and no shorts. Personally, I found this a bit strict, especially as someone who frequently stays in 4- and 5-star hotels in England. We followed the dress code on the first day but noticed others wearing shorts and short-sleeved shirts, so we did the same for the rest of our stay. My tailored shorts and presentable shirts seemed appropriate for a breakfast buffet, not a formal dinner.
The hotel's location in the IT Park is ideal, with plenty of places to visit within walking distance, including Sugbo Mercado for street food, which we went to twice with my fiancée's friends. The lobby staff and security were incredibly helpful. You can order a Grab and wait in the lobby, and the security guards will notify you when your taxi arrives.
On the rooftop, there’s a bar and restaurant, a gym, and a pool. The pool is higher than the gym, offering some privacy while swimming, which we appreciated. The rooftop views are breathtaking, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There are also changing rooms, showers, and toilets by the poolside. There’s a bar where you can claim a welcome drink, but it was unmanned when we visited, and we ended up not using our voucher.
We had one small issue during our stay when my Revolut platinum card, which is metal and thicker than usual cards, got stuck in the ATM. The security guard, Anjol, was incredibly helpful. He called the ATM owners, and with his assistance, we were able to retrieve the card without damage. His help was much appreciated, and management should recognize his excellent service.
The attached mall has a food court where we enjoyed fruit shakes and boba tea, as well as karaoke booths, a cinema, and various shops. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return for a longer visit to fully enjoy the hotel and mall.

KKurzaAbbiamo soggiornato per 4 notti e siamo stati felici con la camera, colazione, personale, servizio in camera e servizio generale che l'hotel offre.
L'unica cosa che pensiamo possano migliorare è la palestra. Era troppo caldo all'interno e la temperatura non può essere cambiata. L'attrezzatura può essere anche più, poiché 2 palestra non sono sufficienti per la dimensione dell'hotel. Una mattina, mia moglie e io non potevo correre perché c'era qualcun altro nella palestra, ma se avessero più attrezzature, sarebbe stato possibile.
Tuttavia, di solito ci siamo divertiti e torneremo quando saremo a Cebu.

TTable_for_3We just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip.
The highlights:
Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room.
Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch.
Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5!

1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why.
2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable.
3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all.
4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room.
5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch.
6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel.
The bottom line:
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons.

NNiceykennHo sempre fatto visita a Cebu, anche prima della pandemia. Per Sinulog 2025, ho prenotato un soggiorno di una notte e sono stato felice di trovare che ora includono colazione! JJIANWe stayed in a room on the 8th floor of the Palm building, The view is very spacious, and you can see planes taking off one after another from the distance. There is a drying rack on the balcony for hanging swimsuits, which is a very practical design.
The water park is very suitable for children, the rooftop bar is very relaxing, and the drinks are delicious. The Earth restaurant offers Chinese cuisine with large portions. In the photos, we ordered small portions. The staff at both restaurants are very enthusiastic.
However, the downside is that we had to wait a long time for the room, and we didn’t get the room card until nearly 3:30 p.m. After a long journey, this was a very frustrating process. Additionally, there was no hairdryer in the room, and it took three phone calls before one was finally delivered, which was also a negative experience.

KKarinaKОчень красивый отель в греческом стиле, белый с синим. Утопает в цветущих деревьях. В отеле 2 жилых этажа и выход на крышу. С крыши очень красивый вид. В номере был чайник, холодильник, приветственный кофе и даже чай. На этаже в постоянном доступе питьевая вода в кулере. Напор и температура воды в душе - хорошие. Сушить вещи после моря можно на заднем дворе под крышей (постоянная защита сохнущей одежды от солнца или дождя). Нам понравилось, берег близко. На фото-вид с крыши отеля.

I particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the availability of essential amenities that catered to every need. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which was a great plus for staying connected.
The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and dining spaces, were well-maintained and exuded a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, featuring local and international dishes that appealed to all palates. The in-house restaurant staff was attentive and ensured a delightful dining experience.
What truly set the Tsai Hotel apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting me with warm smiles and a willingness to assist with any request.
While everything was close to perfect, a minor improvement could be enhancing soundproofing in the rooms to block out occasional street noise. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience.
I highly recommend the Tsai Hotel and Residences to anyone visiting the area. It offers excellent value for money, a prime location, and impeccable service that guarantees a memorable stay. I am looking forward to returning on my next trip!
