Trip.com books through a third party. I had a real problem with my booking once I tried to check in. I prepaid on line, but on check out day they wouldn’t let me leave until I paid again.

Level is worth the money. Excellent service, clean, quiet, good food, no shortages amazing drinks. You do have to save chairs and the level beach section needs more seating and shelter however the beach is beautiful. Denis (Buddy) makes great drinks and provides great conversation. Ricardo and Alejandro at the level lobby are amazing. Joni keeps everything so clean and Alfredo takes great pride in his work on the grounds. Luis the best bellboy in the world and his best friend Leonial are accommodating and so fun. Lastly I can not say enough about Zoiret and Yaquelin. These beautiful ladies went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. Decorating rooms for birthdays and arranging for a special cake. Made by the amazing Chef - thanks again for all of this. Our room was clean, fresh and a perfect location. Level restaurant staff were very friendly as were the staff at snack bar. The security guards and workers installing the glass were also friendly and respectful. The staff here care for each other often stepping in to assist another when required. They respect each other and the guests immensely. I miss these new friends already and can’t wait to return

Visited this resort with my two adult daughter's. We were very fortunate to stay at the adult only section, called The Level. Our accommodation was very spacious: bedroom with comfortable beds and tv, en-suite bath with double sink vanity, glassed in shower, jacouzzi tub, separate toilet, snow white fluffy towels, also beach towels,comfortable sitting room with tv, dining area with coffee bar, a powder room and patio. Just a clean, luxurious suite. There are other types of rooms available at different price levels. The Level has it’s own a la carte restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals and drinks are comparable to any 5 star restaurant. There is also a 24 hour snack bar. The on-site bars serve any drink and cocktail you desire, national and international. A beautiful spa in a separate building offers many body pleasing relaxing The grounds have beautiful tropical flowers and are nicely kept. The pool is crystal clear and free of chlorine, with tanning beds in the middle and shading huts around it. A concierge is available for all your questions and needs, books all your other a la carte restaurants in the family section of the resort etc.You have access to all of the family area but their clients can’t come to the Level. The Level offers a beautiful, luxurious calm adult atmosphere. Can’t wait to enjoy it on my next vacation. Many thanks to the most efficient friendly staff and management

We just spent nine wonderful days at The Melia Costa Rey, our first time at this resort. We have been to Cuba at least twenty times and have always loved it, but this time, the Melia came out ahead of many other hotels. The resort is extremely clean, the rooms and beds comfortable with working air conditioning and not once did we have a hot water shortage. Considering what the Cuban people are still going through with this continuous embargo and all political problems that keep them in such short supplies, I was amazed at how good we had it as guests. Often times, when visiting certain resorts, it’s the Cuban people who make your vacation memorable, weather it’s the people at the reception, the ladies working hard cleaning the rooms, the teams at the coffee bar every morning that always have an easy smile, everyone working the restaurants, the men at the aquatic center and all of the fantastic entertainment teams. Special mention for the young woman with the red hair that sang in both the lobby and the French restaurant who was sensational as well as the young man playing Michael Jackson who did an incredible show that featured extremely strong and tight backup dancers. The beautiful beach is great for long walks, the weather was perfect, we had lobster tails at the beach restaurant (you have to reserve them ahead of time), there is a good selection of food at the buffet. At breakfast, don’t miss the crêpes with real maple syrup, they are delicious and as a treat, get fresh churros at the stand next to the pool, soooo good! These added to a wonderful vacation. Two small points that I would love to make and this might be because they can’t get what is actually needed to improve some of their drinks, but it would be nice to have real orange, pineapple or any kind of fresh juices to make certain cocktails instead of the overly sweet powdered stuff. Second point, do the chefs need to overcook all the meat at the griddle? Still, we loved our time at Melia Costa Rey and a huge thank you to the entire staff at this beautiful resort.

Where do I start.. we had a wonderful time hotel food weather entertainment bartenders cheffs ala carte dinners everything was top notch .. shout out to the entertainment team for making it much greater experience ronaldinho daniel tsunami ricky sweet Caroline and pimpy the cheff at the Japanese restaurant was amazing .. thank you so much with love leo Papa as entertainment team called me
