We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were going to an event at the Motorpoint Arena. It is literally across the road from the arena and a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central Station and 5 minutes from the main shopping area. My husband managed spill water on the bedding minutes after arriving and the staff were very helpful and allowed us to move rooms as there were no housekeeping staff available. The room was clean and tidy although a little on the minimalist side but had a good shower and comfy bed and unlike a lot of hotels wasn't boiling hot!!! We did room only so couldn't comment on breakfast or the bar/other facilities but felt at £49 online price was good value for money. Would consider staying again.

I spent three nights at the hotel and came away feeling rested and relaxed. I was immediately warmly welcomed by a member of staff who guided me through the self check in process. The access to the bedrooms is secure, you can only get to the stairs and lift with a key card, which is reassuring for a solo traveller. I stayed in a standard double. It was really comfortable,and a good size. Really comfortable bed and a nice day bed to the side that you could use to relax on. It was lovely to have a shower that actually had power! Lovely breakfast - what you would usually expect. Provides good access to the city centre ( only a short walk away). The star of my stay was the staff! They are so friendly and welcoming and helpful!

This is in a great location but surrounded by pubs & bars so be prepared for noise. in view of that, I booked a standard plus room on the top floor, ended up at the back of the hotel so was much quieter in comparison to a room on a lower floor near the front. Room clean, tidy, everything you needed but it was quite hot as summer decided to show up, no air-con in the room but reception found me a (quite loud) fan but did the trick. Reception staff all really friendly & approachable. Sadly what you can't prepare for are inconsiderate guests. Presumably by booking a standard plus 3rd floor room they were also looking for a little quiet, but various guests had no problems in slamming doors at 11.40pm Saturday & at 3.10am & 5.20am on Sunday as they were coming in. Sunday night / Monday morning was OK though. While I'd would book again for weekdays, I'd probably so elsewhere on a weekend.

We stayed at the Hilton Cardiff for four days at the end of March 2023. We really enjoyed our stay! The people at reception made us feel very welcomed, and couldn’t have been nicer! ALL of the people who work here were extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted to give a special thank you to Mark, the night manager. He was always cheerful - at the beginning AND at the end of his shift in the morning, which is not easy! He even kindly got us a bucket of ice very early one morning when my wife hurt her knee as she was stepping out of bed and the bed rolled away from her. We spoke to Mark about the incident, and hopefully, by now, they have fixed the “rolling coasters with no brakes on the box springs” problem. Mark was so kind and concerned about her fall that he checked on her twice - right after the incident and even the next day, which was the last day of our stay. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of hot and cold food offerings and was maintained to perfection by the attentive and efficient staff! The buffet was hosted by Bassam, who was very personable and interesting to talk with. The executive lounge was lovely, with beverages and a few snacks available throughout the day. There is an evening manager’s reception and some savory finger foods were offered each night. Our room had a stunning view of Cardiff Castle and the castle grounds! We would happily return to Hilton Cardiff, and we thank them for making our stay really memorable and pleasant. As a side note, we took the Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour and highly recommend it! It’s great to be able to tour the castle at night, and the two hosts were full of fun facts and historical information about the beautiful and “over the top” decor of the castle!

La ricezione era davvero benvenuta e la posizione complessiva è davvero buona. L'hotel non ha un ascensore, quindi sarà un problema per le persone con problemi di mobilità. Inoltre, assicuratevi di portare il vostro proprio lavaggio/shampoo/slip. Se non ci sono molti negozi vicino botte,Superdrug, £land ecc-può non voler usare 3in1 lavaggio a mano, lavaggio corporeo,shampoo 😂.
