Cashel Palace Hotel

Amazing 2 night stay in Cashel Palace Hotel, loved everything abut it from the room, spa, food, ambience, just everything. The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. We dined in both Micky Ryans and the Butlers Buttery, a very different experience in both which added to our stay. We also enjoyed a lovely 9Km walk from the hotel, which had dedicated walk paths and picke dup a lot of what is worth seeing in the area. I will certainly be coming back.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. Have been here a few times now and I have to say it’s luxury at its best. Every thing from the food, to service and the comfy beds are just the ultimate. The staff are wonderful and soo attentive to your every need. They even dropped our group to local restaurant and offered to pick us up on our return. The breakfast was soo amazing the next morning. We had to bring the pastries home with us. Which they provide a little carry case to do so. My hubby had excellent gluten free breakfast and gluten free scones. Nothing was a problem with any request. The only drawbacks were that we had no television working but it was a network problem in the entire hotel. But it didn’t matter. Both electric chargers i tried to use didn’t work but luckily I had enough left in car to get home. The only other flaw I found was that my bathroom in room 202 was very tight. The shower door won’t open if you’ve put your floor towel down and the actual bathroom door is awkward. But really good pressure of water and fabulous thick towels. The bed and pillows soo comfy and I slept for 9.5hrs which never happens even at home! We didn’t get to do the spa but will def be booking again after the lovely ladies showed us the spa. It looked incredible 💗 Def my fav hotel in Ireland and well worth every penny. Exquisite, elegant and beautiful. Loved it.

I visited The Cashel Palace during the week to have coffee with a family member. I was less than impressed. Lovely hotel but our coffee was luke warm and not nice. It also tasted like filter coffee. I would have expected more from the catering services. And the door on the way out was grubby. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Not acceptable. Won't be returning.

We had a wonderful mini honeymoon at Cashel Palace for one night, Sept 23rd. We arrived and went straight to the pool, and I had a wonderful massage with Saoirse (I hope I have recalled her name correctly). We enjoyed pre dinner cocktails in the Residents bar. Our meal in Mike Ryan's was delicious and our server Florent (I hope I have the name right here too) was very attentive. There was a great Irish band playing in O' Donoghues, the on-site traditional pub. My husband said the Guinness was great! Our room was beautifully appointed and I don't think I have experienced softer bed sheets before. We had a very tasty breakfast that set us up for our journey home. Thank you to the reservations team, Lynsey, and the front desk team that checked us in and out. It is great to see the GM be in all areas assisting his team, meeting and greeting all the guests at every opportunity. Thank you for a beautiful experience. We cannot wait to return!

The hotel’s décor is a masterpiece in itself. Every corner feels meticulously curated, with contemporary furniture that strikes the perfect balance between comfort and style. The lobby greets you with towering ceilings and oversized windows that flood the space with natural light, creating a welcoming and airy environment. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the breathtaking art collection that adorns its walls.

Disappointed with the experience at this hotel. The spa was great, could not fault the service and the main building and restaurant were very good. What let it down were the bedrooms. We stayed for 2 nights after our wedding and on both nights had disturbed sleep. The first night, both my husband and I were woken more than once during the night by a green light in the ceiling that lit up the room. We mentioned this to reception who sent maintenance up who stuck some tape over the light. The next night were were disturbed by thumping dance music clearly audible in the room. I assumed this was coming from a venue near by and went to reception to mention it. The music was in fact coming from a party in their ballroom. The duty manager asked the DJ to turn the music down and checked it was no longer audible in the room. For a 5 star hotel I don't expect to be disturbed in the bedroom by a party going on in the ballroom of the hotel. Similarly, the solution to a problem shouldn't be sticking some tape over it. It just let the whole experience down. In our stay, the hotel seemed to prioritise a big group staying at the hotel over the other guests. The said group were the group having the party in the ballroom and on the first night the drawing room was out of bounds for guests as they were having a private drinks reception there. This is a lovely space to sit and relax and on the hotels website it is advertised as such as actually the first image as such yet on one of our nights we were not allowed in there.

Very good experience in the Cashel Palace. The interior of the main building is spectacular. Food, bars and all amenities were excellent. What I would say is that if you aren’t staying in the main building which is likely out of budget for most, the cheaper carriage house rooms are very overpriced for what they are. If someone was asking for advice on staying in Cashel I would definitely recommend visiting Cashel Palace, eating in the restaurant, having a drink at the Guinness bar and using the Spa but unless they had the budget to stay in the main building I’d recommend staying in the hotel across the road for less than half of the price.

The hotel is impressive from first site. Beautiful building perfectly decorated with the Rock of Cashel ruins in the back yard. The local people were really nice and we really loved our time there. The one thing I would do differently would be to stay longer.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Beautiful location looking onto the Rock of Cashel. Beautiful rooms, tastefully decorated and very calming. The Spa is the best spa we have been to. We had the pool and thermal suite to ourselves at one point. Our seaweed baths and treatments where faultless. Incredibly relaxing. Our therapists where wonderful. Food was spectacular. Bishops Buttery was exceptional, subline food. Mickey Ryan's was good too, with a more relaxed vibe and less formal. Breakfast was also top notch and is served in the luxurious Queen Anne room. The residents bar was small but very stylish and serves fabulous cocktails. The residents drawing room was very prestigious and relaxing. The Guiness Bar downstairs was cosy and comfortable. The Staff where very friendly and attentive. It was an expensive 2 days, but a special treat for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and thankfully the experience was worth every penny. Highly recommend.
