La posizione geografica dell'hotel è abbastanza buona!Molti ristoranti sotto.Arrivo a piedi dalla spiaggia.La cosa più importante è la scena del mare senza acqua!Raccomandazione!!!!Il vecchio cameriere del ristorante al contrario è un po'irritante.Oh, anche, c'è un parcheggio, gratis.

This hotel is newly open so is very beautiful and clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. But as a new hotel it had some hiccups such as the indoor pool being closed for maintenance, the doors and elevators not working sometimes. Also if you are looking for beachfront this hotel is not beachfront. The view of the ocean is beautiful but you have to cross a busy street and walk a ways to get to the beach. The traffic noise is very loud even in the middle of the night. We found it hard to sleep. The menu was very minimal so we did not eat at the hotel often. There are many restaurants in walking distance so this wasn’t a huge problem. One thing I didn’t like was having to pay for water at the bar. Five euros for a bottle of water? We walked to the BP gas station where a 1.5 liter of water was 0,75euros. The gym is pretty small and the weight machines are not user friendly. We were there for 10 nights so got a real feel for the place. I personally would not stay there again.

The thing about ”boutique” hotels is they often have limited rooms with little consistancy between them. Often the hotel is a former mansion or castle that has been converted to create the accomodations. The rooms featured on the website often look amazing but many of the rooms are often former butler's pantries or attic rooms the crazy aunt lived in with alll her cats so you have to be careful when booking. This place has some of that. Had we ended up in a former little closet room in the corner, we would not have been happy here. Fortunately we had booked the designer room with a balcony facing the ocean (210) which was fantastic to enjoy the ocean views. We moved the long bench from in front of the bed onto the balcony during the day to use as a sun lounger. Room was smaller but had tall ceilings and nicely remodeled. Comfy bed and nice bathroom with shower with all kinds of water options plus toilets had heated bidet hose. It is important to know that the pool area is seasonal due to the close proximity to the ocean and doesnt open until mid-April. During much of year it is closed as the North Atlantic waves thrash over the pool area filling it with dirty sea water. The hotel should state this on their homepage to avoid guests feeling a bit misled. I attached some pictures showing the pool area we had without any lounges and water looking like a sewer discharge. The weather we had was sunny and hot yet couldn't use the pool so felt frustrated. I'm a daily lap swimmer so had been hoping to use the pool in the mornings for my swims. The view of the ocean with the crashing waves against the rocks made the stay very relaxing. Also it is a nice short walk to town with wonderful views along the way. Additionally it is a beautiful walk or run to the west along the rock cliffs by the ocean. Truly magical location. The hotel itself was lovely and ecclectic with fun art throughout. Hotel staff was very nice and the included a quality breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful. We had to leave in the middle of the night for a very early flight out. The manager had take away lunches for us which was a nice touch. We booked the hotel in part because it was part of the AMEX Platinum Hotel collection which comes with some additional benefits if you have the card. We had been to Lisbon many times but so glad we discovered Cascais this time. Certainly will be back.

Il B&B è stato fantastico. I letti erano i più confortevoli che abbiamo avuto in una stanza alberghiera, la stanza wad tedi, moderna e pulita. We had a great time during our 5 night stay at the Vila Gale Sintra. I’ll start with the pros of the resort. The property itself is beautiful. The pools, the scenery around the hotel are amazing. The family room layout was great for us. It was essentially what appeared to be what used to be two rooms combined into one. The large balcony was great for sitting out at night. The sunset was spectacular from our room. The kids activities were great as my kids got to enjoy the carousel, playground and trampoline park. Be aware though that they only open these at certain times throughout the day. The breakfast was great and had a ton of selections. There were a few cons, the first was the buffet dinner. It was quite expensive at 29 euros per person and the options werent great. They only really had one meat and one fish that they were cooking and there was a line to wait in if you wanted it. We only ate dinner there the first night. The room was partially refurbished. The carpet looked older and the sliding door within the room kept coming off the tracks. And the bathroom was a little odd in that the vanity was open to the rest of the room. So if someone needed to use the lights for it they would light potentially wake up the person in the room if they were sleeping. Then the WiFi, while it worked well for the most part, kept having to reconnect to the network. This happened on both my phone and iPad several times each day while I was there. The location of the hotel has its pluses and minuses. It is a quiet resort away from the city of Sintra. And it’s also located in a place that makes it easy to get to the beach and Colares. But there isn’t anything else right around the hotel so you need to rent a car or take an Uber to get around. We took and Uber and it did work pretty well. Nothing is within walking distance and the nearest bus stop is a 20-30 minute walk away.

Inizialmente prenotato per Villa Cascais ma a causa di un sondaggio di piombo la settimana prima del check-in, ci hanno prenotato con la sorella dell'hotel Albatroz. Erano molto gentili a trovarci alloggi. Alcuni hotel, sono sicuro, potrebbero non farlo. Abbiamo una suite di vista deluxe sul mare. Ci hanno prenotato nella stanza del palazzo lungo la strada. Ci hanno offerto una stanza nell'edificio vicino all'hotel principale, che abbiamo deciso che il palazzo potrebbe essere più tranquillo. PROS: La stanza e l'edificio erano bellissimi. Grande A/C. Bella vista sulla spiaggia. Ha avuto concierge privato. Fantastico ponte e penso che potremmo essere solo uno in costruzione!!! Tutto il personale, dal desk front al ristorante, erano meravigliosi. Vicino a tutto a Cascais. Il colazione era fantastico. DRAGBACKS: (non come la parola CONS). Il palazzo era vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, così poteva sentire l'annuncio spesso. Anche i giardinieri di mattina, ecc. Io sono un alzato precoce, ma gli altri non possono essere. Durante la nostra visita era molto caldo e ci piaceva la gente guardare sulla spiaggia. Ma nella nostra seconda notte, un gruppo di persone decise di avere una festa circa mezzanotte alle 2-3 di la mattina fuori dalla nostra finestra. Anche quando chiudevamo le finestre, era alto. Sono sicuro che non succede tutto il tempo. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui, ma non scegliere l'edificio del palazzo a causa delle mie liste. E anche con il rumore, abbiamo sopravvissuto da quando eravamo in Portogallo!!!! So che ci sono altre opzioni lungo la spiaggia, ma abbiamo camminato e questo posto è davvero il migliore.

Era tutto in ordine, abbiamo trovato tutto pulito e pulito, l'unica cosa che doveva essere indicata era il colazione, pensavo che potesse esserci più varietà, solo il basso. Per esempio, frutta laminata, uova mescolate, frutta secca, vari formaggi e confetture domestiche. Ma in generale mi piaceva molto di aver soggiornato in questo hotel.
