Hotel con piscina a Carvoeiro

E' tornato da una settimana. L'abbiamo usata come base per la bicicletta che era ideale, poiché la posizione era perfetta per esplorare la zona. C'è un Intermarche 0.9 a miglia da qui. Avevamo una villa a 2 letti che era molto spaziosa. Amo la zona separata del salotto e della cucina e, naturalmente, un'albergo. Sì, è data e 1 dei letti era davvero rumoroso, ma era adatto per le nostre esigenze. Villa La nostra villa era di fronte alla strada principale, che, sebbene sembrava piccola, era incredibilmente occupata e ci turbava ogni notte, tutta la notte, dal traffico rumoroso. Il ristorante è stato molto piccolo, ma la vista è stata molto buona e si può vedere il risalto del sole. Il cibo ci ha davvero deluso, abbiamo soggiornato a metà tavolo in molti hotel con diverse rating stellari, questo è stato di gran lunga il peggio. Il colazione era di cereali per bambini (3 di), bacon freddo, uova fredde, tosta, yogurt, succhi molto acquati, bella salada di frutta, selezione di carne fredda e formaggio. Non è mai cambiato. Il pasto era da un menu, colpito e svenuto, la maggior parte delle scelte di carne erano sgustose e secche, il pesce e la lasagna erano bellissimi. Preferisco un stile di buffet a scelta. Il personale di attesa lavorava duro e gentile. La piscina all'aperto era fantastica, ci sono letti da sole, una piscina grande che non ha fatto sguardi sgualdrini o odore di cloro. Wifi Qual wifi, non c'era nessuno disponibile in villa e anche quando si è andato in piscina o ricezione è stato colpito e perso. Non c'era atmosfera all'hotel e apprezzo che siamo arrivati alla fine della stagione. Non credo che ci fermeremo di nuovo tristemente.

Questo hotel è stato puro lusso per un prezzo molto ragionevole, vista sorprendente, uso privato gratuito del piccolo spa (prenota per un punto), sorprendente colazione, vista sorprendente, piscina all'aperto e all'interno, posizione perfetta per fare la passeggiata di cliff e la pista di marcia in La città o una passeggiata diretta a Carvoeiro in 5 minuti. Belle camere, ben stoccate. Ho anche goduto di un massaggio al bagno che era eccellente.

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. Vivo in due camere, con cucina indipendente e piazza.Il bagno è nel centro della linea retta di due camere, che ha svolto un ruolo di isolamento del suono. La stanza stessa è tranquilla e spaziosa.Ci sono diversi bagni sulla piazza.La cucina ha fornitore di forno, fornitore di acqua elettrica, fornitore di microonde e frigorifero, ecc., è molto conveniente. We spent over 15 days in Portugal on our honeymoon and had the misfortune of ending up at this hotel as our last stay in Portugal. I booked via Booking.com and to be honest, we were in a bit of a hurry so I did not check the reviews on trip advisor. Never again! We usually book boutique hotels as the experience is more personal and a lot more interactive in terms of getting to know someone who is local as well as other guests. Since this was our honeymoon and we were going to be in the Algarve as our last stop before heading back, I thought it would be a lovely surprise to indulge in some luxury and I booked this so called 4* hotel looking at the pictures the management would have posted. It was so bad, the pictures would tell the story. The place is filthy and not worthy of a single star. There is absoluetly no sense of hospitality. Check-in is at an odd 3 or 4 pm and untill then they make you wait without even so much so as offering water to drink. Anyway, we checked in and immediately there was a foul smell in the bathroom. We informed them and the next hour was spent in getting the sink and the shower area de-clogged. In the meantime, we see large holes in the bedsheet! We inform the staff and they ask us what do we want them to do! Also, I had messaged them a month ago, at the time of booking that we would prefer a double bed - they said there are no double beds in the entire hotel and they would have a double bedsheet over the joined single beds, but this was also not done when we checked in and neither was it done when they changed the bedsheet nor the next day. This isn't where the horror story ends, there were bugs in the room, the little kitchenette had so much dust and grime accumulating for god knows how many months and there was cracked wood with dust everywhere you would look, water seepage and rotting wood and carpets. Take a look at the pictures and you'll realize without even being there what a dungen of a place this is and the worst thing is nobody cares. We checked out a day earlier and at the time we were leaving, the staff on the reception said ”I hope all was well with your stay”! Despite multiple complaints, no one bothered to come to the room to even see how we were managing. Unfortunately we had a boat tour and hike planned on day 2, which is why we didnt check out the same evening we checked in. We were being charged over 200 Euros a night and they didn't even give us a bottle of water. When we asked, they said we give one (50cl) bottle of water when you check in. No matter how many days you're staying with them! On the second evening, when I said the room wasn't cleaned yet, they said we first start with the rooms that would have guests checking in and then come to others and by 5pm it will definately be done. Even after 6pm, no one showed up and after repeated reminders, they started cleaning the room at 6:20. Yet, it was as dirty as you can see in the pictures - ones with the dust and grime around the kitchenette,

I felt compelled to leave a review for this resort as it was one of the best I have stayed in and I thoroughly recommend it. We were a family of 4 and stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with our own pool. The wonderful experience started before we even arrived at the booking stage. The hotel were extremely helpful and even booked our transfers from and to the airport. We arrived on our first day a couple of hours delayed. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and arranged for the diner to stay open to provide us with some food. My family are quite fussy eaters so the restaurant was a bit much for us so we stuck with pizza. Our villa was quite far from reception so one of the reception team drove us there in a golf buggy of sorts. This was very welcome after travelling most of the day and with all our cases. The villa itself was perfect. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a giant open plan living space leading on to the bedrooms (all with ensuite) and kitchen (totally kitted out ) and seperate utility area. Then out to the garden area with a large pool with steps for easy access in and out. Six comfortable loungers, Dining table and 6 chairs. The pool was also accessible from the downstairs bedrooms which was great for my boys to go in and out without getting the whole villa wet. When you arrive you are sent several Whatsapp messages which provide all the information you need on the resort including restaurant details, transport to nearly beaches, spa and much more. The Whatsapp link to reception was one of the best things as on several occassions we were able to get reception to book us taxis and answer general queries. On one occasion we contacted reception to see if they could bring something to get rid of the ants which kept appearing which they did straight away. On another occassion after coming back from the nearby town at about 10pm our air conditioning was not working so i contacted the front desk and someone was at our villa before i got down the stairs. Issue fixed straight away. There is a little train that you can hop on at reception which takes you to the nearby town which we did on a few occassions. Totally free. You can also get the same train back so saved a few quid on taxis. In summary superb accomodation, super friendly staff and fabulous facilites. Cant wait to stay again.

Siamo rimasti a Placid Village per una settimana all'inizio di agosto, il complesso è molto accogliente e ben mantenuto, il personale è estremamente amichevole e utile e niente è troppo difficile. Ogni giorno abbiamo sempre un letto solare vicino alla piscina, non c'è gara al mattino e la gente viene e va tutto il giorno. Ho e-mailato qualche settimana prima della nostra arrivo per chiedere un appartamento al piano superiore con vista sul mare (concetto che questo è a distanza) e questo è esattamente quello che abbiamo. Abbiamo un appartamento a 3 letti che era immacolato e molto spazioso, cucina completamente funzionale, due balconi, una casa reale da casa e molto ben pensato. La passeggiata verso Carvoeiro richiede circa 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla collina e di solito ha un Uber ripreso come economico e abbondante. In viaggio in città è un piccolo mini mercato per gli essenziali, ma se si vuole fare un negozio principale ci sono diversi supermercati a Lagoa (Intermarche, ALDI, Apolonia, Pingo Doce) che erano meno di 4 euro ogni viaggio da Uber se non si ha una macchina. L’unico lato inferiore era uno dei dormitori senza spazio aperto, ma solo alcuni dischi, ma c’era un grande guardaroba negli altri due dormitori e quando siamo arrivati nessuno era in Reception, Non c'è un campanello, quindi Paul doveva aspettare per controllare in che momento si sentiva per sempre dopo che avete viaggiato per mezzo giorno per arrivare. Ci siamo apprezzati molto il nostro soggiorno al Placid Village e saremmo sicuramente tornati a casa.

AMAZING! I will 100% return to Hello Villas. The pool is a great size and the pool bar has a simple menu with sandwiches, pizza, chips and drinks and is reasonably priced too. There is a barrier and porter at the entrance/exit so it felt very safe with children. Just a 10 min walk to the centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink and shop. The walk is steep so coming back up takes a little longer and would be a challenge with a buggy or small kids/older travellers but the taxi cost around €4/€5 which we took at night and walked in the morning. The beach is stunning, the coastline is amazing and there are plenty of place to walk where you will see something different every time. We climbed through caves and jumped into the ocean and swam in cave pools. We had the 2 bed villa which was huge. Came with a washing machine and everything you could need. Beds covers and towels were changed regularly and the villa cleaned. We stayed 10 night and could have stayed 10 more

First impression of the hotel were good, perfect location for us at the top of Carveiros main road near restaurants but far enough away to not be noisy. Reception and restaurant look to have all been recently decorated, nice and light decor. However I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for the reasons below - $40 for safe - $20 for safe cost and additional $20 deposit which you get back when you return the key. Our room keys didn’t work so had to go back to reception for that then when we got in the adjoining doors were locked so back down to reception again for those to be opened up. The rooms are very very dated and look dirty in parts. The plug socket by the bed buzzed and crackled so I unplugged it all holiday. The pressure on the shower was great however the bath didn’t drain very well and the hairdryer was really poor. The thing that spoiled the hotel for me the most was the 2 cleaning ladies, they did their job well but they were so rude, never smiled seemed angry with us if we weren’t ready for our rooms to be cleaned when they came - and it wasn’t like we were awkward as we were out and about from 11 every day and left the sign on the door to let them know. One day we were out from 9 on a trip came back at about 4 and they were cleaning our rooms, glared at us and told us to go away. Towards the end of our holiday my heart would sink if they were on our corridor. I usually leave a fairly decent tip for cleaning ladies when we’re away but not this time. On a positive note the breakfasts were really really nice, good selection all fresh and well presented and the hotel also has an indoor pool which was useful for us as we had a couple of cloudy days although this area too could do with a lick of paint and a bit of basic maintenance on cracked tiles and to be generally freshened up which it looked like the spa area had had already. I don’t think the hotel is a 4 star and based on the rooms would struggle for 3 star. Carveiro is lovely but I would not stay at this hotel again.
