Hotel con piscina a Carvoeiro

OK the positives to start: the apartment is big and very clean, kitchen was fairly new and the bathroom was a good size too with two sinks, the pool was a decent size and I'm afraid that's it... Negatives: the gentleman on reception took forever to check us in, half an hour... he was on his mobile the whole time. The beds are awful, like sleeping on a slab of concrete, hardwood under the mattress. The pillows are small and lumpy. The breakfast had to be one of the worst we have had, no variety, same thing every day. Bacon and scrambled eggs, not once were they hot. Bread for toast, croissants were bland, no sweetness, fruit salad looked awful, cereal, bread, meat and cheese, that was it for the whole week... Not fresh juice, tasted like cordial. We only stayed B&B so cannot comment on lunch, evening meal or snacks. There are kennels nearby and the barking in the early hours took its toll, was up around 5.30 every morning, not what you want when on holiday... This could be a great place if it was updated, the furniture is also old looking...

Perfetto. Posizione semplicemente magica, colazione con vista sui delfini 2 mattine di seguito un miracolo. Camere pulite e spaziose. La cucina a buffet era divina e la colazione a buffet era di gran lunga la migliore che abbia mai visto, waffle preparati su ordinazione e omelette eccellenti e ben farcite. Piccolo punto negativo, piscina esterna molto fredda e piscina interna non riscaldata. Ho adorato il mio soggiorno e ritornerei senza esitazione.

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. We had an absolutely brilliant holiday at this hotel! Everything about the stay was excellent. Our welcome on arrival. Our apartment was wonderful with a beautiful trickling fountain and pond next to our balcony and pool close by. The main pool was fantastic and the absolute best thing about it was that there was no loud pool music or entertainment throughout the day. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing poolside experience. Breakfast was lovely. Fresh fruit every day. The hotel was near a fabulous beach and I fully recommend the cave boat trip. Another highlight of this hotel was its proximity to some restaurants on either side of the hotel which provided an authentic Portuguese experience. The shuttle into carveiro was also excellent and free. Uber back cost 4 euros. The only downside of the hotel was it was very pricey for lunch and drinks but this did not in any way ruin the stay. Beautiful cliff top walks. Pool bar Algarve 2000 close by. What’s not to love.

Quarto grande e silenzioso ma i cassetti sono vecchi e le tende sporche e con parti chiuse. Balcone grande ma sporco e ha bisogno di un aggiornamento nella pittura. Bagno con buono spazio ma con forte odore che viene dal rally. La camera è grande e sarebbe bello avere un altro rifiuti perché ha solo nel bagno e nella cucina. La mini cucina ha un buon frigo ma i cassetti e la piastra sono molto vecchie, con forte odore. Mi mancava il detergente e buca in cucina. Per il livello della camera sarebbe giustificato avere un Nespresso, sarebbe molto buono. Punteggio favorevole sono gli asciugamani di ottima qualità sia nella camera che nella piscina. L'area della piscina è bella, giardino ben curato e sedie top per dormire. Il bar è interessante anche ma non ho usato perché ho trovato i prezzi un po ' costosi. Caffè di mattina medio, suggerisco succo d'arancio fresco per migliorare e più opzioni di pane. Ci siamo mangiati un giorno all'hotel, non consiglio, è un servizio di buffet e la cena non era buona, è stato costoso. Migliore fare i pasti fuori.

Bellissimo appartamento a due piani, con addirittura tre bagni, uno anche con bidet. Bello l'arredamento, completa e in ottime condizioni la cucina, bel balcone, bel terrazzo. Abbiamo trovato il tutto molto meglio di come ce lo aspettavamo. Anche i letti comodi il giusto. Non posso giudicare i pasti in quanto abbiamo solo pernottato ma comunque abbiamo preso degli stuzzichini e dei drink a bordo piscina e tutto era molto buono e ben fatto. L'unico aspetto negativo e' che la struttura e' distante sia dal mare che dal paese per cui una macchina e' necessaria per gli spostamenti. Possibilita' di parcheggio gratuito accanto agli appartamenti. In definitiva una bellissima struttura per chi e' munito di auto. Tornereto sicuramente in futuro se ci sara' la possibilita'.

I stayed at Placid Village for 3 nights with my 2 teenagers in a 2 bedroom suite. It was a very large suite with more than enough space for us. A second washroom and laundry were amazing to have. We didn't cook but noticed that the kitchen was well stocked. Kids enjoyed a bit of wind down time at the pool each night. We had a rental car and had no problems getting around. Carvoeiro is a beautiful town, and the area even more amazing to explore. We took a boat tour that drove aling the shore and went inside many amazing caves including the Benagil Cave. Algar Seco is also within walking distance along a beautiful boardwalk from town. Another bonus, there is roof access at Plaid Village so if you aren't at the sea shore for sunset, you can watch it from up there.

Albergo con spazi molto ampi Camera ampia con bel terrazzo e bagno con bidet Materassi duri e in parte sfondati. Particolarità: le camere vengono pulite dopo le ore 14 (la nostra alle 15) per cui il check-in é dopo le 15 ! Aria condizionata molto rumorosa che non sente la temperatura impostata Breakfast nella norma: a tale proposito dobbiamo ringraziare la signora Elena, rumena, che con il suo sorriso allietava la nostra colazione non avvertendo il peso del suo lavoro. Mancano indicazioni sulle attività: ad ex abbiamo scoperto per caso che un pomeriggio c'era musica dal vivo in piscina. Per la cassaforte in camera bisogna chiedere il cilindro con chiave alla reception e lasciare cauzione (costo 3€/gg). Non c'è ristorante, neanche per la sera. Tutto sommato é vicino al centro (circa 700m) e migliore di altri in zona. Mi sento di consigliarlo nonostante tutto Comunque la piscina é sporca già al mattino e con un faretto rotto

Bellissimo vista oceano posto meraviglioso per fare passeggiate con viste mozzafiato. Consigliato vicino al paese comodo a tutto. Convenzione con tutti i campi del Pestana nei quali si può giocare a 40€. Campi bellissimi clima meraviglioso. 20 gradi a dicembre. Ristorante sal&tal ottimo.Ci tornerò grazie vacanza stupenda.
