Perfetto. Posizione semplicemente magica, colazione con vista sui delfini 2 mattine di seguito un miracolo. Camere pulite e spaziose. La cucina a buffet era divina e la colazione a buffet era di gran lunga la migliore che abbia mai visto, waffle preparati su ordinazione e omelette eccellenti e ben farcite. Piccolo punto negativo, piscina esterna molto fredda e piscina interna non riscaldata. Ho adorato il mio soggiorno e ritornerei senza esitazione.

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. The receptionist is very welcoming, the restaurant (where we had breakfast) is cosy and the breakfast itself has good variety, the townhouse has nice interior design and all necessities. We walked to Carvoeiro centre from here and also to the east over the cliffs and to a playground, so for us it was quite a good location.

E' tornato da una settimana. L'abbiamo usata come base per la bicicletta che era ideale, poiché la posizione era perfetta per esplorare la zona. C'è un Intermarche 0.9 a miglia da qui. Avevamo una villa a 2 letti che era molto spaziosa. Amo la zona separata del salotto e della cucina e, naturalmente, un'albergo. Sì, è data e 1 dei letti era davvero rumoroso, ma era adatto per le nostre esigenze. Villa La nostra villa era di fronte alla strada principale, che, sebbene sembrava piccola, era incredibilmente occupata e ci turbava ogni notte, tutta la notte, dal traffico rumoroso. Il ristorante è stato molto piccolo, ma la vista è stata molto buona e si può vedere il risalto del sole. Il cibo ci ha davvero deluso, abbiamo soggiornato a metà tavolo in molti hotel con diverse rating stellari, questo è stato di gran lunga il peggio. Il colazione era di cereali per bambini (3 di), bacon freddo, uova fredde, tosta, yogurt, succhi molto acquati, bella salada di frutta, selezione di carne fredda e formaggio. Non è mai cambiato. Il pasto era da un menu, colpito e svenuto, la maggior parte delle scelte di carne erano sgustose e secche, il pesce e la lasagna erano bellissimi. Preferisco un stile di buffet a scelta. Il personale di attesa lavorava duro e gentile. La piscina all'aperto era fantastica, ci sono letti da sole, una piscina grande che non ha fatto sguardi sgualdrini o odore di cloro. Wifi Qual wifi, non c'era nessuno disponibile in villa e anche quando si è andato in piscina o ricezione è stato colpito e perso. Non c'era atmosfera all'hotel e apprezzo che siamo arrivati alla fine della stagione. Non credo che ci fermeremo di nuovo tristemente.

Hotel Mirachoro in Carvoeiro Hier gab es absolut nichts zu beanstanden, bis auf einen Punkt, den ich zum Schluß anführen will. In der sehr gepflegten Hotelanlage und dem schönen Zimmer haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir gehen davon aus, dass erst kürzlich alles renoviert wurde. Das Personal war ausnahmslos sehr zuvorkommend ( Speisesaal, Bar, Rezeption usw. ) und sehr nett, hilfsbereit und das immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auf jeden Fall ausreichend und gut sortiert. Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt, Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Die Anlage liegt sehr zentral, aber dennoch war es hier sehr ruhig. Ein Ort, an dem man sich gut erholen konnte. Es war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen. Nun zu dem anfangs erwähnten ”Punkt”: ＞ Dieses internationale Hotel sollte doch bitte zumindest 2-3 TV - Programme für seine deutschen Gäste anbieten. Mit etwas gutem Willen ist dies, im Satelliten-Zeitalter der Technik / Elektronik, sicherlich machbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder und würden uns über diese ”neue Errungenschaft” außerordentlich freuen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen an die Hotelleitung, ohne welcher dieses Hotel nicht das wäre , was es ist. ＞ Ein prima Urlaubsdomizil

Quarto grande e silenzioso ma i cassetti sono vecchi e le tende sporche e con parti chiuse. Balcone grande ma sporco e ha bisogno di un aggiornamento nella pittura. Bagno con buono spazio ma con forte odore che viene dal rally. La camera è grande e sarebbe bello avere un altro rifiuti perché ha solo nel bagno e nella cucina. La mini cucina ha un buon frigo ma i cassetti e la piastra sono molto vecchie, con forte odore. Mi mancava il detergente e buca in cucina. Per il livello della camera sarebbe giustificato avere un Nespresso, sarebbe molto buono. Punteggio favorevole sono gli asciugamani di ottima qualità sia nella camera che nella piscina. L'area della piscina è bella, giardino ben curato e sedie top per dormire. Il bar è interessante anche ma non ho usato perché ho trovato i prezzi un po ' costosi. Caffè di mattina medio, suggerisco succo d'arancio fresco per migliorare e più opzioni di pane. Ci siamo mangiati un giorno all'hotel, non consiglio, è un servizio di buffet e la cena non era buona, è stato costoso. Migliore fare i pasti fuori.

Siamo rimasti a Placid Village per una settimana all'inizio di agosto, il complesso è molto accogliente e ben mantenuto, il personale è estremamente amichevole e utile e niente è troppo difficile. Ogni giorno abbiamo sempre un letto solare vicino alla piscina, non c'è gara al mattino e la gente viene e va tutto il giorno. Ho e-mailato qualche settimana prima della nostra arrivo per chiedere un appartamento al piano superiore con vista sul mare (concetto che questo è a distanza) e questo è esattamente quello che abbiamo. Abbiamo un appartamento a 3 letti che era immacolato e molto spazioso, cucina completamente funzionale, due balconi, una casa reale da casa e molto ben pensato. La passeggiata verso Carvoeiro richiede circa 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla collina e di solito ha un Uber ripreso come economico e abbondante. In viaggio in città è un piccolo mini mercato per gli essenziali, ma se si vuole fare un negozio principale ci sono diversi supermercati a Lagoa (Intermarche, ALDI, Apolonia, Pingo Doce) che erano meno di 4 euro ogni viaggio da Uber se non si ha una macchina. L’unico lato inferiore era uno dei dormitori senza spazio aperto, ma solo alcuni dischi, ma c’era un grande guardaroba negli altri due dormitori e quando siamo arrivati nessuno era in Reception, Non c'è un campanello, quindi Paul doveva aspettare per controllare in che momento si sentiva per sempre dopo che avete viaggiato per mezzo giorno per arrivare. Ci siamo apprezzati molto il nostro soggiorno al Placid Village e saremmo sicuramente tornati a casa.

We stayed here in August after a week long group holiday in a villa in Benagil. This was just what we needed to recover from a hectic week ! The villas are spacious and spotlessly clean . We stayed in a two story two bed villa . The bed was huge and the balcony had wonderful views over the gardens . Most of all - the people who make this place so special are the staff . Tania , Natalino and Tieery to name a few . All the staff at this lovely village have made this one of the best holidays . They are so friendly and charming they make you smile everyday . I would love to name them all but there were so many . The taxis are cheap (5 euros) if you want to visit nearby Carvoiero for a bit more of a lively scene and amazing restaurants like A Gale and Jota Lita . There was a really good mix of nationalities staying at the village so you feel part of a truly global family . 100% we will be returning again .
