Carvoeiro: i migliori hotel con palestra

Un bel hotel in una bella posizione - siamo andati in un momento in cui era un po 'più tranquillo ma ancora soleggiato. Sono piccole e carine e durante l'estate sono sicuro ci sarà più divertimento. Il personale all’inizio non era così accogliente, ma dopo che erano tutti molto piacevoli. Ci siamo menzionati il nostro anniversario, ma come è stato all’inizio con personale che non erano disturbati nulla è stato fatto. Il servizio è stato molto bello e sempre così utile.

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. Vivo in due camere, con cucina indipendente e piazza.Il bagno è nel centro della linea retta di due camere, che ha svolto un ruolo di isolamento del suono. La stanza stessa è tranquilla e spaziosa.Ci sono diversi bagni sulla piazza.La cucina ha fornitore di forno, fornitore di acqua elettrica, fornitore di microonde e frigorifero, ecc., è molto conveniente. We stayed here in August after a week long group holiday in a villa in Benagil. This was just what we needed to recover from a hectic week ! The villas are spacious and spotlessly clean . We stayed in a two story two bed villa . The bed was huge and the balcony had wonderful views over the gardens . Most of all - the people who make this place so special are the staff . Tania , Natalino and Tieery to name a few . All the staff at this lovely village have made this one of the best holidays . They are so friendly and charming they make you smile everyday . I would love to name them all but there were so many . The taxis are cheap (5 euros) if you want to visit nearby Carvoiero for a bit more of a lively scene and amazing restaurants like A Gale and Jota Lita . There was a really good mix of nationalities staying at the village so you feel part of a truly global family . 100% we will be returning again .

The receptionist is very welcoming, the restaurant (where we had breakfast) is cosy and the breakfast itself has good variety, the townhouse has nice interior design and all necessities. We walked to Carvoeiro centre from here and also to the east over the cliffs and to a playground, so for us it was quite a good location.
