We had a great time at Hotel Caribe, lovely main pool, and had a selection of smaller dipping pools and tubs to choose from. The parrots, sloths and birds live happily around the ground and it’s so lovely. Everyone that works here is so sweet and warm. We had a lovely chat to Antonio who hands over the towels by the pool, Marianny, the hostess is also very lovely and always checks you are having a nice time. Breakfast is great tho I think those with dietary restrictions may struggle as sometimes the signage isn’t too great. We didn’t have that problem so it didn’t bother us but maybe one to consider for other guests. Pizzas are great, but as others have commented, other lunch/dinner options aren’t great and quite pricey for what they are. Until this is sorted I recommend other travellers to eat breakfast at the hotel but other meals in Cartagena town as there’s lots of amazing options there! Our room was gorgeous and the bed so comfy!! Loved it, would come back again.

Alla checkin ci ha preso per sempre e la signora ci ha fatto riempire un formulario di gnocchia dicendo che possono prendere casualmente la nostra temperatura quando vogliono ***.... hanno anche fatto copie delle nostre carte di vaccinazione... non dovevano mai mostrare una carta di vax ad un hotel... non erano necessarie macchine Ma dovevamo farlo? Anche io e un amico, e si rifiutarono di darci due chiavi di stanza.... mai visto un hotel rifiutare di fatto che... abbiamo chiesto poche volte e nessuno... e quando abbiamo controllato, hanno chiesto la nostra chiave indietro lol wow... ora all'hotel stesso... è giusto. Attraverso la spiaggia, quindi la vista è buona in alto e è molto alta.... coppia piccole piscine a livelli medi e alti... abbiamo avuto un set di due camere w separati condizionatori d'aria e uno non ha funzionato tutto il tempo. Uno dei televisori non ha funzionato nell'altro... Il colazione era terribile, quindi ho usato solo il caffè e la tosta dopo il secondo giorno... la nostra porta anteriore sembrava che fosse stata precedentemente rotta e non fissata, si può aprire la metà strada e usare una carta di credito per aprire...Questo hotel è sicuramente 2 stelle a La posizione è un cuz decente dalla spiaggia ma tutto il resto meh... Def non rimarrebbe mai qui più lol...

El hotel en sí muy lindo, buena piscina y buena música, las habitaciones limpias y las instalaciones bien cuidadas, el punto débil la comida, el desayuno tipo buffet un poco malo, huevos sosos, pedí una picada de chicharrón y llegaron crudos 😨 (claramente no los cobraron), éramos 3 íbamos a pedir mojarra para almorzar y resulta que solo tenían 2, que lastima porque la experiencia fue muy buena, la salida a la playa super chevere. Ah y otra cosa la chica que me atendió en el bar muy mal servicio al cliente, fuimos al bar a pagar y ella hablando de los chicharrones crudos a los 4 vientos sin saber que era yo la cliente del plato, afortunadamente era yo, si fuera otro huésped el que escucha eso no le dan ganas de comprar más nada. Reitero habitaciones super limpias, el baño super lindo y super buena ubicación alrededor hay farmacias, muchos restaurantes y un mercadito local lo más de lindo. En pocas palabras lo recomiendo, al final salir a comer afuera no es mucho lío 😊

We stayed for over 3 weeks and were returning guests. They provided us with a comfortable room with a great view. Breakfast was simple but tasty. There was a lot of construction including the road the hotel access is on and the beach is all torn up at present. Walking south on the beach for a half hour is easy and walking a half hour into the old city is easy. Many great restaurants all around the hotel too. The security at the front door were wonderful, and always so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant food was inconsistent but some of the servers were incredible. We ate there frequently.

Nice hotel and great staff. Rooms are modern/renovated and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated all our random requests (needed a bottle opener, asking to turn on the water jets in the pool at night, arranging expedited laundry service, etc.) with great attitudes. Rooms are pretty modern and comfortable. Our corner room had small windows and didn't have much of a view but we were spending most of our time outside so that was fine. This hotel is right by two grocery stores - always nice if you want to grab snacks, drinks, more sunblock, etc. We only had breakfast once - it was just okay, nothing special so can't really speak to the restaurant. Overall it was a great value, good experience, and would stay again.
