Namasté Beach Club y Centro Holístico

After spending a couple of days in Boca Grande, this was a uniquely different perspective on the Colombian coast. Only 15 minutes across the channel away and looking back across the water at the modern high rises of Cartagena, Tierra Bomba seems a world away. With thatched roofed huts, a lush tropical landscape and the water only feet away, it is an island paradise and if you're lucky enough to enjoy an overnight accommodation in one of their few beautiful bungalows, it is a relaxing and peaceful rest. Bring a book, play some games with family or friends or just generally chill (or sweat in this location). But even in this equatorial heat, the tropical breezes are constant and the acclimation comes within a few days. The rooms have AC for your sleeping refuge. The food was simple and nicely prepared. Amazing Stay!, great value, superb and friendly staff, is just the beginning. This little gem offers a good range of rooms from basic to luxury villas with water views. The inner sanctum is amazing with a magical tree guiding you into the meditation and Yoga Hut. The great value part here is the free activities, you get Yoga twice a day, meditation and fire ceremony daily as part of your room rate and even Day Stay costumers can enjoy some this. For an extra cost you can get massage / spa therapies as well as sound healing. Food is great and fresh, but best of all is the staff!, friendly and smiling beautiful Colombian people. We will surely be back.

My family and I had the pleasure to visit Namaste, we had a fantastic day, very relaxing, great service, close to Cartagena, good drinks selection, a cool perfect size pool and beautiful grounds. We are making plans to come back and stayed there at least two nights. Thank you for everything

This place is a bomb!!!🔥🔥🔥very good service, best quality food and drinks..and the stuff-＞ BOMBA! The spot also is the best from Cartagena islands..maybe sometimes the drink delivery is delade, but maybe it is because of us who are “dealing” with the drinks very fast..Very happy that I stayed here!🙏🏼👌🏼💪🏼👹🔥🎉🎊🎊🎊

Another booking close by fell through on the day and Namaste luckily had some availability. In hindsight we are so glad the booking with the other place didn’t come to fruition as we had the most magical last three days in Colombia together with our friends. Two of us stayed by the bungalows with sea view, private terrace and beach access with sun-bed. The bungalows have an en suite bathroom (no door to close between bedroom and bathroom), small table and chair, aircon and beautiful decor. Bungalow (Medusa) 3 is slightly bigger with a sofa(bed) than Medusa 2 that we stayed in. The bungalows & private beach are separated from the rest of the beach area for all resort & day-guests. One of our friends stayed in a room/bungalow by the pool towards the huge tree and Yoga / Meditation area. This room also has a small private front garden area, a bed with mosquito nets, aircon and an on suite bathroom (with door). The highlight in that room was the outdoor shower. Each night there was a different ritual celebrated by a bonfire. The first night was a bonfire with some guitar playing and singing the second night a cacao ritual (hot chocolate making) and everyone that wanted to could get involved. The common area has comfortable hanging daybeds and tables + chairs to enjoy the sea & city view for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Also small tipi-tents with daybeds are nicely placed and spend some shades. Whenever needed we could just pick up new beach towels by reception which is on the way to breakfast anyway. The staff is super friendly, spoke English & Spanish and we felt very much looked after by everyone. The place is a sanctuary for cats and they also support an ocean cleaning project (if I remember right). Namaste also offers yoga classes by the same lovely lady that does the rituals in the evening. At departure our luggage was picked up in the room and put on the small boat. The boat regularly goes to the mainland and the staff even lifted me out of the boat so that I wouldn’t get wet/sandy feet as there is no mooring on the mainland. The boat stops right by the beach. The staff then carried our heavy luggage through the sand to the street and called us a taxi to the airport. We really enjoyed staying there and will definitely come back. Thank you Namaste!

This is one of the most beautiful places in cartagena. Magnificent natural gardens, every corner is delighful. this place is perfect to connect to our innerselves, and also to nature. I Highly recommended if you want to find harmony and balance.

I rarely write a negative review, but everything was wrong with this place since we arrived until we left. We booked 4 rooms for ourselves and our friends from abroad, 9 people total. The rooms were uncomfortable, the beds impossible to sleep on, the food was awful and super expensive, the service was horrendous, and they claim they have a beach for 60 people. The beach is more a patio over the seawall where the waves crash, it has sand on the floor but there is no beach, or lounge chairs to lay down on. We were told at check-in that our rooms were ready, but it took them 3 hours to get us the keys. Apparently they were waiting for “a host” who never showed up, because the same two people who did the check in were the ones who gave us the rooms three hours later, mind you, at the same time that our lunch was served. Our room was small and extremely uncomfortable. It did not have space to store the cloths or where to put the luggage with easy access to the cloths. We had to put suitcases on the bed to open them every time we needed to get anything in or out, praying that bugs won’t get on the bed as we found a crab trying to crawl in our bags. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable that our friends grabbed cushions from the pool area to put on the bed to sleep on. The food was awful and ridiculously expensive. The menu said that breakfast came with “assorted breads or arepas.” I wasn’t asked what I wanted and got a slice of what seems to be Bimbo white bread, not even toasted. The next day they gave me arepas so hard that I couldn’t bite into them. But the worse was the service, waiters are not trained and have a horrible attitude. Food came in a span of hours, so some of us were done with our food while others were still waiting for their order. It took 45 minutes for them to brew a cup of coffee so we couldn’t have it with breakfast either. At lunch and dinner we were served appetizers after entrees, some orders were wrong, and some items didn’t come at all. When we asked for the missing items we were told that the kitchen was closed and they couldn’t be prepared any more. We ordered a red wine and were told they didn’t have it, they suggested a rosé. We didn’t want it so another waiter came with a sample of white wines. When we explained that what we wanted was a red wine he went back and found what we had order an hour earlier. I was so furious and disappointed that decided to pay the day-pass and spent the rest of the time in the island at Èteka where everything is pretty, food is delicious, service is wonderful and prices are comparable if not better. At the time to leave Namaste I tried to arrange the boat pick up and had to work around their schedule. I was originally told that the boat was available every half an hour, but to my surprise that was not the case. The time I needed (1:30 pm) was lunch break and they weren’t even sure that the boat was going to be available because that is the day when they bring in the supplies. After lot

I had a great experience when going. It was the closest place I found that celebrated Spring equinox. it worked out. They had a meditation circle which was lovely, staff great, food - typical tourist trap. The venue sits on a small island overlooking the city of Cartagena (BocaGrande). To the left and right are other "beach resorts". Not quiet, reggaeton and cross over is easily heard from the premise, disrupting your relaxation or meditation stay. The so called beach is a bay, where boats drop off passengers. They are on the path, but far from honoring the buddha they exhibit. They have plastic fantastic models that are poorly operated advertising for them, Operated models looking for followers are typical in Colombia - and sadly supported by these venues. Do they truly honor spirituality? NO. and have no clue of what it truly is to be of God. I was sceptical when I left, but recent activity has truly disappointed my perception of this place. Colombia is a party country. Cartagena as well as the rest of the country has a ways to go before they grasp the true roots of their being. You are better off going to the Guajira or the Amazon and hangout with real native people that honor Mother Earth. Integrity is everything. A business that promotes or allows themselves to be a place of vanity is not a place where I can find peace and spirituality. Does it have potential? YES. Hopefully at some point this venue will stand by what it really represents. Otherwise, Sadguru and any real yogi would decline a visit to this place. Stay true to your mission, folks. There are many false prophets and traps set to deter your mission.
