Great value for a short trip with the most friendly and helpful staff. Despite arriving far too early for check in, we were swiftly accommodated and able to start out exploring sooner than expected. Very clean and comfortable bed, the room was on the small side for two but not an issue for us, plenty of areas to sit and we were out most of the day exploring. The bed was large and very comfortable with good pillows. Blackout curtains meant we slept in longer than we would normally on a city break!!! Breakfast was excellent, buffet with sensible use of trays to clear your table after eating. Lots of choice and lovely bread and pastries. Hot food also if required. Coffee and juice from machine which I felt were better quality than to be expected, plenty of options for hot drinks. The evening meal was delicious on both evenings we tried it and was very welcome after a long day walking in the two cities. It was lovely to see families enjoying the small pool and an added extra for a city break. It is a long walk into the Cite but we really embraced this opportunity to see the local area. We felt safe walking and the locals in the area were friendly and able to advise on direction. The hotel provides maps to help you navigate. I confess we did indulge in a snack in the local Macdonald’s as just around the corner and the best I have used, clean and prompt service, excellent coffee!!! There are Lidl and Aldi around the corner from the hotel so no issues preparing a snack for a busy day out. Our only issue on the trip was transport from the airport. The shuttle bus is prompt but fills quickly and is only there for each flight. Can be a long walk to your hotel from the stops in the city. To get a taxi you must ask at the information desk to book one on arrival and this took considerable time. €23 a single trip. We found it impossible to pre book a taxi to meet us at the airport. On return we asked our hotel to book a taxi to the airport which we were anxious about arriving, the team at the hotel were great and checked in on its progress to assure us when it would arrive. Again €23 return trip. If you enjoy exploring a local area this hotel will suit, if you are unable to walk far maybe look nearer into the cite or in the City. There are plenty of options. For us this was a great stay and can recommend.

Hotel carino nella città di Carcassonne. Molto situato in centro vicino alla chiesa. Buon colazione. C'è un uomo al concierge che abbiamo parlato perfettamente inglese e che era estremamente amichevole e utile a mostrarci intorno all'hotel. Il hotel dispone di un caffè vicino a un hotel che vendeva dolci torte e prodotti locali, il personale era anche super utile. Una cattiva esperienza è che abbiamo e-mailato l'hotel più volte per organizzare un taxi all'hotel, mentre arrivamo alla stazione ferroviaria, ma non c'è risposta. Dobbiamo chiamarli (chiamata costosa, perché non abbiamo linea francese). Sarà bello per loro offrire il trasferimento anche se è pagato

The hotel is nicely located near the enclosed city of Carcassonne - parking is in a secure and closed spot across the street from the hotel; The reception was small, but we were greeted with a nice smile. Our room was small, but sufficient for the night (we did make a reservation. Including the nice breakfast, with taxes the bill came to almost 160 euros. There is a small pool and we did not swim, but at least we lounged around the pool area. Overall it was also very clean.

First the positives , hotel is in a great location and is ideal for visiting the castle and it is only a short walk into the town centre. The staff we encountered were very friendly and hard working . The decor is a bit strange with black and orange corridors and the rooms were dark . The cost of breakfast was 16 euros each ….. and although the lady who served us was very friendly the choice was very limited . The price of the drinks in the rooftop bar were also excessive , you expect to pay more in the hotel bar but I found the prices a bit over the top . So for somewhere to sleep , shower and explore this hotel is great but I would definitely dine elsewhere

Le strutture dell'hotel sono buone, cioè la sala fitness è stata recentemente fermata a causa dell'acqua di scarico. La piscina e la sauna sono normalmente aperte. La casa di famiglia prenota non ha un piano centrale. La casa di base è rimasta. La cucina è particolarmente apprezzata nei tempi di COVID19 / curfew quando tutti i ristoranti sono chiusi dopo le 6:00. Questo è l'alloggio che cercavamo ... BUT ... Siamo arrivati al passato di Zenitude Carcassone 5.00pm (prima del curfew connesso con 6.00pm COVID). La reception è stata chiusa e, per quanto ne so, è impossibile contattare il personale dell'hotel 5.00pm. Abbiamo ricevuto un'e-mail prima di pomeriggio con i diversi codici necessari per aprire a) la porta dell'hotel, b) la porta principale dell'hotel, c) la cassaforte in cui la chiave era nascosta ... Tutti bene finora. che era piuttosto molto come descritto sul sito Booking.com con un difetto BIG, tuttavia. La sua finestra non poteva essere aperta - che abbiamo trovato del tutto inaccettabile nel tempo di COVID19 data tutte le raccomandazioni di sicurezza COVID19. Non c'è altro che ”mantenete il respiro” e speriamo di fare il meglio per i prossimi 7 giorni! Abbiamo cercato di stare lontano dal personale considerando l'uso di maschere come opzione. :-( Molto deluso, visto l'attuale ambiente sanitario.
