This is not 5 stars and 4 stars is generous
Arrived at 4:30pm for 4 check in and there was a line out the door with limited staff and only 3 of many check in locations open - SLOW!
Room was tired, but provided a nice view of the marina.
Harbour side bar offers $15-$20 cocktails.
Breakfast the next morning was buffet style and if the resort isn’t able to get that right, then it’s a major warning sign. Concerns are old/stale options and some options were just low quality.
6:30pm reservations for 25th Anniversary dinner and the place was empty, but service was average.
Unfortunately, the food was even worse.
Wife added lobster to linguini and that was like tiny white ****y protein.
Ordered porterhouse pork chop that was difficult to cut and was overcooked and had no flavor.
Tipped traditional 20%, which was not earned.
Wife left her jacket over her chair and it was never found. Very few customers, so it’s concerning that a call to room from resort never happened after dinner.
Requested bottle of wine to room at 7:45pm. The front desk called shortly after to see if glasses and cork screw was needed, which seemed like great service, until only glasses and a cork screw were delivered to room with no wine at 8:45pm.
Called front desk and explained wine was not delivered. Wine delivered at 9:50pm.
Wedding in temporary tent across from room provided live music to the entire resort until 1am.
11am check out, but knock at 10am - room to improve
